Political Poll Is Beef The New Bacon Is Beef For Dinner

How do liberal and conservative cuisines differ in the US?

Liberals eat tofu. Conservatives eat ribs. Liberals eat salad. Conservatives eat steak. Liberals eat quinoa. Conservatives eat BBQ. Liberals eat chicken breast. Conservatives eat chicken wings. Liberals eat pasta. Conservatives eat…pasta. Liberals eat miso soup. Conservatives eat burgoo. Liberals cook with olive oil. Conservatives cook with bacon fat.Liberals never eat bacon, never ever, it is not allowed, if you are a liberal, you will be punished and expelled from the liberal conspiracy, if you eat bacon. Conservatives eat only bacon. Liberals eat roast chicken. Conservatives eat roast chicken. Liberals eat lamb chops. Conservatives eat lamb chops. Liberals eat sausage. Conservatives eat sausage. Liberals and Conservatives eat Thanksgiving at the same table as each other, they just don’t talk about politics while they’re doing it.Liberals eat junk food because they are lazy slackers who do not look after themselves. Conservatives eat junk food because they are too stupid to realise that it’s bad for them. Liberals eat food that they know what part of the country it came from because they are idiots obsessed with organic produce and climate change nonsense and sustainability. Conservatives eat food that they know what farm they came from because they are gun-toting morons who personally shot it. Liberals eat fancy-shmancy foreign cuisine because they secretly hate America. Conservatives eat expensive meals in three-star restaurants because they are all rich scum.Liberals eat sandwiches. Conservatives eat sandwiches.Liberals drink coffee. Conservatives drink coffee.Liberals get hungry. Conservatives get hungry.

Do the Indian Muslims eat beef?

I'm proud to be an Indian Ahmadi Muslim.I think this is my fourth answer regarding beef ban.Now the answer to the question is, if an Indian Muslim consumed beef from a state where beef is banned, then he has violated the state rules. The holy prophet of Islam has taught that “ Loving our own country is an integral part of our faith.”So it is obligated upon Muslims to obey the rules implemented by their government. (Islamic rules)Now Muslims in Kerala eat beef because consuming beef in Kerala is not a crime. Now those Muslims who live in the states where beef is banned, listen to me , I have already mentioned that Beef is halal for Muslims but every halal food is not compulsory to eat.If they stop eating beef, they won’t die. If beef is banned, you can eat other non vegetarian foods like chicken, fish etc.Our founder of Ahmadiyya Muslim community stated that for tying up a good relationship with Hindus, we are ready to stop eating beef also.I currently live in Punjab where cattle slaughter is banned, so I don't eat beef in Punjab. But when I go for a vacation in Kerala, I eat beef there.

Why don't liberals want Muslims to do the bacon test?

Because administering the bacon test is literally evil.Let's say you are a Christian. I'm one, so I know a thing or two about it. Because of your beliefs, if they are anything like mine, you probably think it isn't right to lie, at least under most circumstances; it's one of the Ten Commandments. Maybe you are good at following that rule, maybe not so good. But, you know you are supposed to try not to lie.Now imagine that you got a great job offer from an excellent company, with amazing benefits and more salary than you could ever have imagined yourself getting. It will really improve your life, and the lives of your family if you take the job. Except, before you can have the job, the boss tells you you have to tell a lie, to prove you aren't a Christian.Nothing really bad, mind you, just a white lie. Maybe you have told lies a thousand times before. It is harmless, but you know it is still wrong. How do you feel? What would you do?If you are like most people, your response is seething anger, no matter what. A lot of people would do it anyway, because of the benefits to their family, but would hate that boss for putting them through it, and would be personally ashamed at having given up on one of their convictions. That's what the bacon test does to Muslims. It demeans them and gives them a reason to hate you. It possibly makes them believe that they have done wrong in the sight of God, and possibly fills them with shame.Even if Christianity is completely true, and bacon is one of the greatest blessings God has gifted unto man, no matter what religion you believe, it is evil to force people to feel shame and hatred, and evil to make them choose between their family and their convictions. At the very least, it is out of sync with the golden rule. At the worst it is one of the more heinous forms of cruelty.

What dessert would compliment beef stew?!?

So I'm making a beef stew for some friends one night this week and I have a question on what to serve with it...

What would be something I could serve as appetizers before the main meal? Something lite, easy to make, and inexpensive.

Would a salad compliment a beef stew? Maybe serving a cesear salad along with the beef stew as the main meal?!

What type of dessert would compliment beef stew?! Maybe...Chocolate?! Berries?! Cake?! Pie?! Cupcakes?! Cookies?!

Here's the recipe for beef stew I found on Kraft.com...

Can I substitute venison in any beef recipe and it still taste good? My Hus is a hunter, but in the past I?

Almost all slow-cook recipes for beef or lamb will do well with venison. Aside from the slow-cook requirement, be aware that the venison (at least what I get) is quite low-fat. Depending on the recipe, techniques like browning in bacon fat, barding with bacon or adding diced pancetta are often winners at our table.

(There are other things to do with venison other than slow-cook but they require more attention and care.)

Venison is particularly good with dark sauces (port wine reductions, juniper berry flavored, etc.) and also particularly good with mushrooms.

You can fix any slow-cook meat recipe in any covered container, there is no reason to go out and buy a roasting pan except for scale -- that is, if your biggest covered dish isn't big enough. Yours might not be ideal but don't sweat it.

Where can I buy Pork meat and bacon in dhaka, bangladesh?

You find out "Farmgate" near National Assembly building (Jatiyo Sangshad) and there is a cinema-hall nearby, named "Ananda". There is a Lane opposite to Ananda cinema-hall ( a few steps down towards Green Road) where you will find the pork-meat shops.

There may be a few shop selling bacon also at that place, not sure though. Get back to me if you fail to locate the shop by way of additional-details or send email.

Hope above helps.

Is it possible to make deli meat crispy like bacon?

Almost all deli-meats can be cooked with crispy results (Not mortadellatype) if you put it in oven on ridiculous heat and the meat in pressure with siliconepads or waxed papers. Best with 2 pans and meat/paper in between. If success it will be flat, crispy and yummy. Try parma-ham or serano-ham :D

Does anyone really like steak?

It's tough - only if you overcook it and/or prepared it incorrectly.

It's bloody - IF you cook it a certain way. Believe it or not, very rare steaks are not bloody. Pic: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2077/2337... Cook it a little more and the blood will start to ooze out: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Qt19NwlJjlg/Sl... Medium steaks could be rather bloody. Of course, if you continue cooking, the blood will eventually disappear and the steak will become overcooked.

It can be stringy - IF you prepared and/or cut your steak incorrectly. Exposing uncooked steak to salt for too long will make the steak tougher and more stringy. If you failed to sear the steak's surface and allowed all the liquid to escape while cooking, the steak will be bad too. For example, filet mignon is the most tender cut. But, if you marinade or add salt to a piece of filet mignon prior to cooking, you will change the steak's texture. Flank steak is one of the toughest cuts out there. But if you got the know how, you could make flank steak taste pretty similar to top sirloin (and I'm not kidding). However, you can not carve a piece of flank steak in any direction you wish; you must cut against the grain.

"Compared to bacon or chicken the last are much easier to chew and swallow - and chicken is as bland naturally as steak." - Try a piece of properly prepared rare or medium-rare ribeye before you say that.

Hamburgers are great - and they were usually made with cuts that are unsuitable for steaks.

"It's strange to me. But so so american." - You are starting to sound Asian to me. People from many Asian countries are not that afraid of undercooked beef though. If you are indeed an Asian, then I think you are Chinese because many Chinese are terrified of bloody, undercooked beef. :D

Added:
Galbi and bulgogi, especially when they're cooked the old fashion way, should taste very good. However, recent statics showed that Koreans got the highest rate of stomach cancer in the world and someone pointed out charred meat could be one of the sources. Now, a lot of Korean meat dishes were cooked over reduce heat to reduce charring. As a result, those meats weren't properly seared and lot's of liquid escaped during cooking. Cuts used for galbi and bulgogi aren't that sensitive to salt or soy sauce. The "healthier" cooking method is the source of the problem.

Can snakes take a piece of raw chicken, beef, or pork sprayed with snake food scent?

I've heard of people temporarily feeding raw chicken to a snake until they could get regular food, but not as a long term thing. You may have to wait until you can have one on your own. Or get a small freezer and keep the frozen mice in your room. You just need a cup of hot water to thaw them and they won't have to look at them. You shouldn't ever feed live to a snake if you can help it. You run the risk of serious injury or death to the snake. If you cannot properly care for the snake, then you should wait until you can.
