The NDAA, as it has been modified by COngress, is brand new. It bolsters the executive branch's war powers. It authorizes the military to enforce domestic law, in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act. It is DANGEROUS.
Why is everybody crazy for Obama.?
I wouldn't say that Obama will make all white people slaves,nor that McCain will get rid of all illegal immigrants. I don't agree with those comments at all,because they're unrealistic and way out of line! If it seems like people are crazy about Obama,it's because he & his campaign managers have successfully used the mainstream media as well as his own web site to build up what's known as a personality cult! According to one program that I've watched on the Fox News network, Hannity & Colmes,at one point when Obama started his presidential campaign,he supposedly got a blessing from Louis Farrakhan,a leader of the Nation of Islam,at some meeting they attended in Chicago,and,Farrakhan called him a messiah during that meeting! That was before Oprah Winfrey started supporting his campaign earlier this year. That's the main reason why people may be crazy for him,especially young people who've never voted before,and,who've never cared for politics before. That's not the case with a lot of us older,more experienced voters! We're not Obama crazy,or McCain crazy!John McCain doesn't need a personality cult! I think that a lot less people are going to be Obama crazy as they continue to discover all kinds of stories about his far left leaning associations,and more about how some other congressional leaders in the Democratic party have some of the same philosophy. Financially,a Socialist/Marxist philosophy is bad for any country because taxes on anything don't go down,they go up and stay up! I have read some books about Marxist philosophy,including one or two books about Karl Marx and Frederich Engels,the founders of that belief. I remember when the Soviet Union ceased to exist,and why its "empire" of the Warsaw Pact nations of eastern Europe also collapsed.That was in the late 1980's and early 1990's. A Simply put,the collapse was due to Marxist/Leninst "spread the wealth/hate the wealthy"philosophy.Call it a big financial collapse! I don't want to see that happen in this country!
Neither. Cruz is the Senator from Texas, period. While it would perhaps be preferable for those living in other states if Cruz embraced a less combative, more moderate stance, it is not Cruz's job to represent those people. Cruz's job is to represent the interests of the people of Texas, who, as a general matter, are more fiscally and socially conservative than say, the citizens of Vermont. If it's not crazy for Vermont to send a "democratic socialist" to Washington--and no one would ask whether Bernie Sanders is crazy, even though he's farther outside the political mainstream than Cruz, no matter what people want to tell themselves--it's not crazy for Texas to send a Tea Party conservative as its representative. Similarly, if the majority of Texans want a senator who will stand up to expanding federal government, Cruz doing his job--even if it makes him MSNBC's public enemy #1--is not crazy. Californians and New Yorkers may not like Ted Cruz, but they don't get to vote for him one way or the other, just as I as a Texan don't get to vote in their elections. Some responders have noted that if he plans on running for president, Cruz may find that his scorched earth style has left him with few friends. That may very well be the case. But in 2014, Cruz's sole job is to represent Texas, and right now, he's reasonably popular. That may be upsetting to many people, including a lot of Texans, but it's not crazy.

Are YOU snortin COKE or smokin WEED with OBAMA? People need to read his autobiography to learn the way he thinks and what he really believes. He may claim he is for capitalism but his words and even his actions tell us a different story. Marxism is where he really seems to be at. The people who he hung out with while at Oxidental helped shaped his philosophy and his ideas that he has today. Since the media ABC NBC CBS MSNBC CNN and others have failed to VET OBAMA and are basically in a slobbering love affair with him. As voters we (im 14 ) need to read his AUTOBIOGRAPHY to learn about him and we need to force the MEDIA off there lazy @$$e$ and start to VET OBAMA the same way they are going after Romney. OBAMA cant run on his record as it is deeply flawed and the only thing he can do is to use issues to divide the nation. however he did say we arent red states or blue states but we are the united states so there he wasnt even being truthful. OBAMA took taxpayer money and funded many projects that FAILED. His success rate may be 10%. ROMNEY and BAIN has a success rate of 78%. However OBAMA even lies about ROMNEY and BAIN but most voters are learning the truth.
Rick Perry: Right Wing Nut or Crazy like a Fox?
I am fascinated by Rick Perry. I believe he'll win the GOP nomination and unless Obama can magically reduce unemployment, Perry will most likely be our next president. But I also have a short attention span and I'm far too lazy to do my own research on who or what Rick Perry really is. I hope you can help. I get the impression that he's a Right Wing Extremist: wants to teach creationism in Science class; seal the Mexico Border while cutting spending; waving his gun around in public, etc. But I also get the impression that this is all campaign theater, and he's a closet pragmatist: he actually *opposes* building a fence along the border, preferring more foot patrols and use of technology. And he supported in-state tuition to illegal immigrants in Texas. Contradictions like this could be taken as hypocrisy or schizophrenia, or they could indicate a thinking strategizing politician. So which is Rick Perry: Crazy man or clever campaigner? (And do you think PRESIDENT Perry would differ at all from CANDIDATE Perry on illegal immigration, or the Deficit, or the Economy, or religion in government?)

Outside of “identity politics” and sports, Obama has little understanding of the real world: * His repeated bows to foreign leaders, which suggests he doesn’t understand basic protocol. * His efforts to try terrorists in civilian court reveal a severe misunderstanding of the U.S. Constitution. * His idea that massive government spending will generate private sector jobs is a bizarre view not held by any credible free market economist and has no historical precedent. * His belief that additional burdens placed upon the private sector will not have any impact on job creation defies all logic. * His belief that government must take over all health care in order to make it more efficient completely ignores the history of socialized medicine all over the world. * He appears to have no basic understanding of free-market economics. * His view that apologizing to America’s enemies will earn us goodwill is naïve and incredibly stupid. Nor does Obama Understand even Basic History: * He claimed the Americans liberated Auschwitz and Treblinka. They did not. * He said the whole world came together to save Berlin during the airlift. No they didn’t; it was mostly an American and British effort. * He portrays his father as a freedom fighter, when in fact he was part of an extremely violent, corrupt movement in Kenya. * He believes his Kenyan family was involved with the African freedom movement. No, they weren’t. Obama’s relatives have attempted to impose Sharia law in Kenya. * He even thinks the origins of his name is Swahili. No, its not. It’s Arabic. Swahili has nothing to do with his name. * He claims that as a result of the Selma march, he was born. Not true. Obama was born four years before the Selma march.
