Poll Has Anyone Ever Said To You That Families Don

Poll: Do You Like The Movie Lion King?

i actually found out today that there is a person out there that hates lion king! O_O

i didnt know that was possible since lion king is comedy/romance/action/family movie that appeals to all ages. i couldnt understand that someone could actually 'hate' it.

when i asked her why she said "cuz it's a stupid movie!" i cannot wrap my brain around this. is there anyone else out there that doesnt like lion king?

Has anyone ever spread a nasty rumor about you?

Of course. If you've never had someone spread a nasty rumor about you, then you probably ought to get out more.
When this sort of thing happens, I kind of view it as a good opportunity to find out where you stand with your friends and acquaintances. Clearly, the originator of the rumor has revealed himself/herself to be toxic and untrustworthy, so you can jettison that baggage. And you get to see who stands behind you and who turns against you, allowing you to weed out the other backstabbers in your social circle.
It's infuriating and frustrating but, if you handle it correctly, it can actually be beneficial to you in the long run.

Has anyone ever told you to "GO FRY ICE!"?

I don't know, but it's probably the same genius who came up with "Catch ya on tha flip side" and "LETS BLOW THIS POPSICLE STAND!"

Does Anyone Ever Feel Awkward About Ordering Alcohol In Front Of Parents/Family Members?

I just turned 21 last week (legal drinking age) and the last time my family ordered at a diner mom ordered lemonade, dad ordered pepsi, brother had sprite, and I said "Bud Light".

I don't know I just felt a little awkward drinking alcohol in front of them just because I can now.

Anyone else ever get this feeling? Does it bother you or no?

Has anyone ever tried to use maize or a tazer or electricity on ghosts?

I read this book by Katherine Ramsland (she wrote a biography of Dean Koontz and the Vampire companion to Anne Rice's books) where she became obsessed with ghost hunting. In one attempt to contact a spirit she used a van de graff generator (those glass or metal balls that you put your hand over and it makes lightning and sparks). The only evidence she was getting was angry EVP's after the experiment - the spirit didn't like it very much.

The book wasn't very convincing she went about ghost hunting in a very amateurish way, and only got evp's - her conclusions at the end were that she still hadn't seen any ghosts and was still open to the possibility although less than in the beginning. Link to the book below.

What's the meanest thing someone has ever said to you ?

dunno anything towards me that was mean HAAA ive heard a lot more but one time i called this girl a fatass cuz she's overweight and very sensitive about it. i told her no one likes her and that she'll always be fat and even her boyfriend made fun of her weight. along with a lot of other stuff.... =) but hey, she started it.

Will "Family Guy" surpass "The Simpsons" as the greatest animated comedy of all time?

No I don't think it will. The first season was pretty good, it had some sick humour, but it didn't seem over board. When it went off the air and then came back, it was much more dirty. Now I have a child and even visually it is sick sometimes, so I can't even have it on if my 1 1/2 year old is in the room.

It is kind of like asking if "South Park" will become the all time greatest animated comedy. It won't happen because it only appeals to some people. Simpsons appeals to just about anyone. Young people and old. My Dad will watch "The Simpsons, but thinks "Family Guy" is stupid.
