For 18 it's not bad at all, it's actually better that you remain in your parents house. There's totally nothing wrong staying home at 18. At 18, you haven't sufficiently matured yet, you're not 100% looked after in life. You have a whole life ahead of you still, just remember that. I mean I'm 29, still live with my mother since I'm still haven't got my life straightened and it's not easy even for myself, especially in the finances. A lot of my friends from grade school may be more financially secure, have more stable careers, more success than myself and maybe already married (have a family of their own with some), but I'm working on that. While I'm working on that, I'm basically working part time to support my future education, even if it does mean I have to drive a cab just to get the extra green.

Do you love your parents if they abuse you?
I used to, as a child, desperately.Then I started to dissociate myself from them, fantasizing that I had been left accidentally on this planet by aliens, and some day my real parents would come and save me.I was done with the loving at age 16, when my mother caused me to end up in hospital with broken bones, after which I despised my actively abusive mother, and felt abandoned by my mostly absent father who didn’t protect me from her abuse nor from sexual assault by an uncle — upstanding family man! After I recovered from my hospital visit, I planned my escape.I don’t know that I would have survived if I had continued to love them — I contemplated suicide enough as it was, and I finally left when that seemed to become the more rational option.I never saw them again after I left. Some years later, when I had picked myself up off the streets, had gone to university, and through therapy, for a time I would occasionally fantasize of showing up, successful as I was, and… yeah, and what? They wouldn’t have seen me as successful, gay as I was. All the fantasies in the world could not make my birth family functional. People come out of such families as sociopaths and serial killers; I was lucky that I am only mildly sociopathic.Today, many decades later I feel nothing much about them at all anymore. It’s like it was a different life.

with a 16 year old boy that you knew was a sweet gentle boy would you get mad and if so what would you do if your daughter said "don't hurt him I came on to him" and the boy said "I just couldn't help myself she's just so beautiful and nice to me and sigh I think I love her." now taking all that in what would your reaction be?also if you found them and didn't get mad just told them to stop (lie if they were both 9 or both 16) what would you do would you make them stop being friends keep a closer eye on them and knowing they were in love would you let them date?They have much in common she is gifted he is behind his peers but not retarded just they have the same interests like the same movies music t.v. shows they like each other as friends etc they are clearly in love would you let them stay together until either they grew up and either married or broke up or would you break them up because you see it as wrong or just keep them apart till she is 18 and he is 26 and then let them date or what?Or what if the boy was 9 and the girl 16 or both 9 or well it is obvious both 16 you seperate them have a long talk and possibly let them keep dating.
