Poor Blacks And Seniors Don

Why are black people so poor?

When you say drive into Minneapolis- can I assume you don't actually live in Minneapolis?
Maybe you just don't notice the ones begging when they aren't black. Take a better look. There are way more white people begging for money than black people, and besides that, there are other groups like native americans begging for money too.
And about black people being poor, the average income is right around the same level as mexicans, asians, etc.

Why are black communities so poor?

When you go through history, through ethnicities, you will find that groups that are held in slave or pseudo slave status in a society will not prosper if they remain in that societal context for as much as centuries after emancipation. We see this in the black population in the US, the Dalits on South Asia, the Roma freed without citizenship or property rights after 500 years of chattel slavery in Romania, and the plantation indentured indigenous populations of many nations where European colonialism destroyed prior cultural institutions, leaving client dictatorships and ruined economies and familial structures. No man is an island. When you spend centuries destroying a people's culture and spirit, it can take generations for that culture to normalize given the best of conditions. Racism does not afford those best of conditions. But our history in the US is dramatic, and we do not teach it in schools.Black American culture tends to make individuals poor, in part, because of external modern influence, external influences of centuries, and angst over their past, present, and future all being an unfair struggle. There is nothing unreasonable about these stresses. They are the stresses of a formerly conquered, enslaved people trying to regain their feet while living among their former owners — many of whom still actively despise them.People who only a few generations ago started with no literacy (it was illegal to teach a slave to read), no assets, and no homes, overnight on emancipation day. This was a black refugee problem essentially, at the end of the Civil War when white soldiers were returning home looking for work, larger in absolute numbers than the Syrian refugee problem Europe has had to absorb in recent years. We have never recovered from the discord and trauma. Whites dehumanized the blacks to justified marginalize them as free citizens, to protect the faltering post war economy. It never stopped.Surely, anyone could understand this might lead to systemic network effects?

Why don't rich black people employ poor black people and get rid of their unemployment issue?

If this was easy it would happen. So many things to consider…Not a popular opinion, but here goesWe (Black people) have a crabs in the barrel mentality. If said rich Black person was building their brand, lifestyle or got an education to be where they are, my bet is, they were ridiculed along the way by other Black people. While rich Black person was building their life, other Black people refused to support them. The reasons are endless. And finally, some ‘poor’ Black people are poor due to life choices. And it's hard to have empathy for people who not only made bad life choices, but empathy for those same people who might have dogged you while you're making your way up the ladder. Some people will understand what I'm writing, and some will refuse to understand that this does indeed happen in our community.

Why don't black people progress?

They have been colonized and taken advantage of for centuries, so even now that they're largely independent countries there's still a lot of political and social unrest (i.e. corrupt regimes, lack of cultural unity due to arbitrary national lines being drawn by Europeans, etc.). They need more time to get on their feet, and the aid of foreign countries has made them largely dependent, so if people want to help they should work on making them self-sufficient countries (e.g. instead of just sending food and water, build irrigation systems so they have and can grow their own) rather than keeping them at the mercy of outsiders.

Why do people think everyone in africa is poor and black?

Media tells all and all they tell are lies. I know Africa itself has around 52 countries, and half of 1100 languages of the world are spoken there. HIV/AIDS us rampant in African countries, but it exists all over the world. Just recently, I saw on YouTube a film showing poor Whites in South Africa, but those filming it obviously had money to help those people. In short, we need to educate ourselves by reading books.

Why are black students so bad?

The majority of us are not substitute teachers...so we couldn't say we have the same problem. And this is not related to LGBT in any way.

Thanks for the stereotype! It's great to hear that you feel you know my behavior without having ever met me. I'm biracial...I strongly don't agree with your findings. Maybe they were acting that way in a response to your negative behavior towards them; your negative first impressions.

I plan on becoming a teacher. I hope that some other profession might catch your eye soon. It's horrible to prejudge your students. Think of all those poor black students who show up on the first day and have to deal with your suspicious attitude towards them. Learn to view all of your students as equals before you become a teacher.

l see liberals do a lot of things like this and then they just carry on as if nothing happened, while calling Trump racist or saying "conservatives are scared of black people".
