Possible Gynecomastia

Is it possible to my man boobs(gynecomastia) from working out?

I used to be about 50-60 pounds overweight. One day a female friend jokingly said to me "nice boobs im so jealous". After that I decided to diet and exercise. I now have 8 percent body fat, and good definition in my abs, legs and arms. But to my dismay my "man boobs" decided to stick around. I didnt know why, after doing some research I found that my chest was caused mostly by gynocomastia rather then me being overweight. So I guess I can thank my gyno for inspiring me to lose weight and get healthy but I still had some man boobage. Comparing to pics I saw online I really dont have very big man boobs but my main problem is I have very large puffy nipples that are pretty noticable. It sucks cause I worked hard to get nice abs and such but I still cant go to the beach and I am hesitant to take off my shirt in front of the ladies when I shouldn't be. I still have this problem and as a college student I don't have money for surgery and am embarrassed to ask my parents for help. Ive tried some products that supposedly suppress estrogen production (yes every guy has some estrogen in him) which prevents gyno. A lot of bodybuilders who use steroids take it to prevent "b*tch ti ts" from the steroids. Right now I am on my third cycle of 6-OXO, a product that is supposed to make your body stop producing estrogen. On the products website it specifical states that it can be used to prevent gyno but cant cure exsisting conditions. I have noticed some improvement in my gyno, the 6-OXO also helps you get definition which it really does pretty well. Its kind of expesive at 70 bucks a bottle...one bottle lasts a month and you only take it every other month. So figues thats like over 400 bucks a year to get marginal results. It does help a bit though so Im gonna keep using it until i get done with college and get a job so i can afford surgery. So surgery is the only real way to cure gyno. I guess its because gyno is actually tissue not fat, and no matter how hard you work out they wont go away.

Is it possible to get Gynecomastia surgery for free on the NHS?

I have had Gynecomastia since i was 13 and I'm currently 18. I have searched the internet and i am positive i have Gynecomastia would NHS be able to do a operation to remove the glands free of charge as i really get depressed over this problem as i have been working out to get a nice chest and the nipples make it hard to notice any change. I work out about 14hours a week at the gym and i also play a high level of rugby. I'm also pretty good a cage fighting and have had offers to fight amateur but had to turn them down because i dare not stand in front of 100+ people without my shirt on. From this it sounds like it's a shirt off only problem but you can clearly see i have something going on through my shirt and occasionally get a comment from someone at school saying "Dude wtf is up with your chest?!" which is really embarrassing.

i hate to admit depression but at the start of this year my dad died of Cancer so I'm depressed from that but this whole gynecomastia thing really isn't making it easier.

Has anyone got any experience on the gyno subject and if you do please share some information about it.

Cheers

Are you born with gynecomastia?

Gynecomastia usually occurs when boys reach puberty, between the ages of 13 to 15 on average and is caused by excess testosterone (male hormone) being broken down into oestrogen (female hormone) and causing the development of some breast tissue. The difference between that and "man boobs" is that the latter is purely fat, and will therefore have a much softer feel; breast tissue is tougher, lumpier and on a whole firmer than fat. Usually the problem sorts it's self out after puberty, once the hormones settle, however losing weight if you have a higher BMI can help to reduce how noticeable they are.

Gynecomastia surgery, very painful and need help, possible legal action?

Can you prove the doctor was negligent in his surgery? This is the prime part you have to prove in a court of law in order to get any money at all. If you can't prove this, you have no case it all. Pain is expected in surgery, on occasion severe pain can result, as did in your case. If you didn't feel well informed by the doctor it is your responsibility to get better informed by asking questions. The doctor doesn't know if you are unclear on something when you don't ask questions. It is your responsibility to tell them you don't feel informed enough. You may feel it was better to be put completely under, but if that was an option beforehand, you should have requested it. The doctor wouldn't be required to give you general anesthesia if the surgery doesn't require it, which in most cases he probably doesn't.

Have you called the doctor and asked what the liquid squishing around is? Did you ask if it is normal? Do you know if it is a sign of negligence? You have to be able to answer these questions in order to get any lawsuit.. without proof of any of this, you're not going to go anywhere.

If you don't have the money to fly back out there to get the problem fixed, which could just be a complication of the surgery, that is your fault not the doctor's. How do you intend to pay for the court costs and lawyer fees if you don't have the money to fly somewhere? You realize you have to file a lawsuit there and not in your home state, right? That's a lot of flights out there that is going to become very costly, and you probably won't be able to get those costs back in court, because its not the doctor's fault you live so far away. Its not free. With the information you provided, I would say you don't have a lawsuit, but I would recommend contacting a lawyer in your area or in the doctor's area.

Do I have gynecomastia?? [Teen boy]?

Well, I just turned 13 this year and here is a short background.
I was chubby since when I was 10. I am chubby not obese, a bit fat but no big deal and I had a mini fatty chest before I hit 13.

Since this month, I have been noticing my left nipple being more round and my chests feeling a little bigger, it is not drooping down with woman nipples. It has a rounder man nipple and NO saggy chest but a little more fatty chest?

I am not completely sure if it is a teenager puberty thing or gynecomastia.

Is this a serious problem? I do 35 press ups a day and some skipping.

Gynecomastia Pills? Do they work?

Hey, I'm 17 (almost turning 18) and I have had gynecomastia since i can remember. I've tried diets, working out, etc. but nothing seems to work. It's size hasn't changed, and I don't think I am overweight (Height is 5'7, weight 145), nor do I take any drugs. I've heard of possible solutions such as: surgery and taking pills. I'm more interested in taking the pills. Does anyone know if they actually work? And if so, which ones?

Some assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
