Pounding Headache Along With Other Symptoms Help

Sinus, hot flashes, acid reflex, pounding head. many symptoms please help.?

Don't think of it as one condition but maybe two or even three conditions that may be going on at the same time.

I really think you have a food intorance which is causing you nasal congestion, headaches, increased heart rate, swelling, fatigue, zoned out feeling etc. Make a food diary and notice things like gluten, wheat, yeast, etc.

Low iron can also cause an increased heart rate and anxiety

Angioedema can cause stomach swelling, fatigue, joint pain and a stiff neck. It can cause your legs to feel heavy and swollen.

If you can't find a cause, I would still go to an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist and get turbinate reduction surgery to make the inside opening of your nose bigger so you can breathe.

Also, some medications like antideppressants can cause hot flashes

Have a STRONG headache after walking in the heat all day today, is that normal?

So I was walking outside from 9am until 5:30 PM in the heat, is having a REALLY bad headache normal after that? Like my head hurts SO BAD! It feels like a migraine but I feel like my teeth & above my ears hurt as well. Is this normal? I did not drink water but I did drink a little bit of soda & that was it.

Why do I get headache after crying?

Two reasons really. Physical (muscular) tension and emotional tension. Think about all the muscles you use when you cry. From the neck to the face to the head, especially forehead, your muscles are involuntarily contracting- tensing up in all kinds of ways. You can’t help it. That’s just what happens when we cry. These muscles are being used in ways they are not normally used. That makes them achey and sore. You usually won’t notice it until you’ve stopped crying, when the have a chance to relax again, but do so gradually, giving you a lingering headache. Then there’s the emotions that go along with crying. You wouldn’t be crying if you were not really upset about something or someone. Someone you care about hurt you. Someone you trusted betrayed you. A bad situation came up, maybe suddenly, unexpectedly. And a million other circumstances that can happen and drive you to tears. All these negative emotions make you feel bad. Your body produces adrenalin, cortisol and other substances that rile you up. And they can bring on headaches and other discomforts that maybe you hadn’t even noticed. Sometimes the best thing you can do is let out. Just let it go. Find a private place to go to where you can cry and weep and sob. There’s no shame in this. We all go through this type of thing every now and then. We wouldn’t be human if we didn’t. Crying helps release negativity. Most people feel better after a good cry. This goes for men as well as women. And afterward, try to lay down in a dark, quiet room with a damp cold or warm (depends on which makes you feel better) washcloth over your eyes and forehead. Take some Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen if you are not allergic and don’t have a problem that prohibits you from taking these meds. Call a close, trusted friend and talk about what’s bothering you. If you believe in a superior being (Buddha, God, Jesus, Allah, Goddess- whatever you choose to call the being,) Pray. Hope this helps.

What is causing this throbbing headache?

I have had a throbbing headache in the back of my head for three days now. It is right at the bottom of my head and the top of my neck. I am not dehydrated, though I thought that this was the initial reason.

Three days ago I was lifting weights and I was doing overhead squats. At that point I felt an instant pounding headache on the back left side of my head. Since then I have been unable to do any physical activity because my head is non stop pounding! Ice does not help and tylenol of subsides the headache slightly.
I do not have a stiff neck, nor do I have pain anywhere else. Just a pounding headache that will not go away!

HELP. Throbbing headache back of head?

Well I'm 14, prediabetic. It was about 4:30 a.m. (I'll also point out that I haven't been sleeping like a normal person). I've been under lots of stress and anxiety. And I hadn't eaten for probably 12 hours. The whole day I had discomfort in my head . But anyway, I was laying down at 4 am. As a pillow rubbed against my penis , it started getting a random erection. Which would require blood to pump a lot, but I didn't know this would happen. Next thing I know, my whole body starts throbbing . I pulled up my shirt because I believe I've had anxiety attacks before. I could see my chest pounding. But what got to me the most, the headache. Worst pain I've ever felt. There was no popping or any other type of pain,it was more like. I feel like my body was relaxed and maybe the sudden urge to pump blood into my penis was too much for my rested and relaxed body. The headache was terrible. My whole body would throb as my heart beat, and the pain was like that too. With every pump of the heart came the pain. I started sweating a lot and I later got a little nauseous. What worries me is that the pain was mostly where subarachnoid hemorrhages happen :( I mean I had been feeling weird all day sort of but I'm just so scared:( after some 5 minutes, the pain started to subside and I took Advil and it made it go away. What I noticed was that every time I laid on the back of my head (I had noticed this for a few days already) I got an annoying dull pain. I was laying on the back of my head as my body started pumping more blood. I then went downstairs and turned on all the lights and just watched tv. I was drowsy, but that's understandable from not sleeping. Could this be a migraine or what?:( I fell asleep at around 9:30 am and woke up at 5 pm I now just feel a little discomfort but not much pain. I haven't felt that bad pain for a while. The pain that worried me was in the bottom right of the back of my head.i don't feel anything there.more like a sore feeling in top left by ear.help

Sinus infection symptoms?

The only things that really helped me was when my Dr. told me about a sinus wash that will kill bacteria.
you need

distilled water
sea salt
liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver from the health food store.
in a glass mix 1/4 cup water with a pinch of salt and heat to body temperature.
add 5 drops each silver and chlorophyll and mix.
using a large dropper (like one used for infant medication) drop 2 full droppersfull into one side of the nose while laying down.
Turn the head and let it drain out the other nostril. Be sure to have paper towels handy.
The silver kills the bacteria and there are several hundred kind that can live in the sinus cavities and anti biotics don't get rid of them all.
Do this twice a day for a week, mixing up the mixture fresh each time.
Then do it once a week for maintenance.
There is nothing in this that will hurt you, and it cured me.
I do not have to take claritin, or antibiotics anymore.
best wishes
