Powerful Words Like; Now Because Imagine

Whats the magic word?

abracadabra

What is the most powerful word and why?

WE!WE make up the most powerful. WE are united and WE can do anything. WE have changed history and the future counts on us! And WE is a collection of I, the second most powerful world!!

How many of you read encyclopedias as kids? Can you imagine kids today doing so?

My favourite is still the dictionary, sure google is faster and nearly as accurate, but I browse a page or 3 with interest and curiosity, because I like words. Words have significance, meaning and power. Tell that to my 6, 10 or 16 year old grandchildren. They are so immersed in video games and music that word is almost lost or foreign. Schools are so caught up with screen usage that cursive writing may be, and is being reduced or eliminated. Big and bigger changes are coming, but a look back to start.I remember buying my first set of Britannia Encyclopedias and did spend engaged hours often, and enjoyed their presence and influence. But change is upon us and perhaps beyound is. We are not evolving fastet than usual, but technology is moving so fast we just cannot keep pace. and that creates disconnect, stress, failed communication, confusion and more.Libraries are offering ebooks because if they do not they can be obtained easily online and patrons will be lost to library services. Schools. businesses, institutions and all services are increasingly online and human interaction is becoming outdated, unnecessary or unlikely. ATM’s, online banking, online courses, online freelancing, outsourcing, robotics,…the future is upon us.Another look back for perspective and to focus on your question. A family friend retired 10 years ago, close to 10 years earlier she had primarily provided encyclopedias to public schools for a living. But that changed as most things have, in fact, on March 12, 2012, Julie Bosman wrote the article “After 244 years Encyclopedia Britannica Stop The Presses.” They company president, Jorge Cauz was quoted saying:“Some people will feel sad about it and nostalgic about it. But we have a better tool now. The website is continuously updated, it’s much more expansive and it has multimedia.”Life is changing very quickly with emerging technologies and AI looming to rewrite -perhaps everything, but we will still be humans trying to keep up, in whatever way words are offered, for telepathy is not coming to the masses anytime soon, although my grand children seem to have something quite beyond me.

If I give my word to Allah....?

Brother, you can only do your best. I guess that's all allah is doing too. He can't help it if his word, his books get changed. He can't help changing his own mind. He allowed alcohol, then he didn't. He said pray to Jerusalem, then to Mecca. Free slaves every once in a while but take captives when you make slaughter in a land and accept them as gifts as Muhammad did, lol. The quran is a miracle and easy to understand, but you should follow the sunnah or you lack the necessary details for little things like praying and refer to tafsir for the context AND only read it in Arabic to get the meaning.

I have more faith in you to keep your word!

My five-year-old kid is saying the word f*** or S***. How do I correct him?

As a child I got my mouth popped for saying words like that, as you can imagine this was not the way to go about handling the situation. What I would recommend is; 1) take the child away from any other siblings as not to cause him imbarrassment. 2) calmly explain that some words that he hears from “grown people” that aren’t to be repeated 3) Encouraging him to learn new words but always be careful with what he says.As his parent, you yourself need to watch what you say, children parrot what they see and hear from those they look up to. By encouraging new words you expand his vocabulary as well as boost his confidence in a good way. I’m not a mother yet, but, that’s what I wished was taught to me instead of being beaten for slipping up in my words. My parents constantly used words like f*** and s*** and I would say these because that’s what I thought grown ups were supposed to sound like. So as long as he has the proper answer as to why he can’t repeat some words( you come up with your reasons as you are the parent and everyone is different) then you should be fine. Good luck.

Imagine that today is the last day of your life. What is the first thought that comes to mind?

Imagine that today is the last day of your life….Quite fascinating…isn’t it .Imagination is very powerful tool. The first thing that comes to mind is that have i done anything for what i would be remembered by the people . If no,then start doing it right now because you were just imagining.See how powerful imagination is. It just change your way of living . Steve job once said “ We should live our each day as if it were your last , and one day we will certainly be right”. Right towards our actions ,our career, our interests, our contribution ,our thoughts. So , stop imagining now and start doing the right things..Happy living
