Prince Charles Employed Self Employed

Why do so many people dislike Prince Charles?

Because they are starry-eyed over Dear Diana, and blame Charles and Camilla for all of the evils that befell their ill-fated marriage. Diana was, after all, a lot more photogenic and knew how to work the press. Ignore the fact that she was, quite frankly, unhinged. She had nothing in common with her husband and used to abuse him quite horribly. It’s no wonder he fled back to the arms of his former flame. The Great British Public have, in my view, gradually come to accept Camilla now and I don’t believe that Charles is “disliked” by most people. Not in the UK, anyway. Most of the vitriol directed at Charles and Camilla seems to come from the US, where people who aren’t even affected by the monarchy seem to think it’s like some sort of Disney movie with a tragic princess and wicked stepmother. You just have to look at some of the nonsense posted on here.I personally think Charles will make a great King as he is a passionate man that cares deeply for his people and subjects that are close to his heart. He’s promised to stay out of politics once he’s crowned but I don’t believe he’s actually capable of that, and I hope he doesn’t. I’d much rather have a hands-on Monarch, myself.

Do you believe Prince Charles has been underrated most of his life?

Under-rated by who? He has certainly lost a lot of his earlier popularity for a number of reasons, including those who blame him for a bad marriage to Diana (and even indirectly her death) and those who consider him too spoilt, and being a bit eccentric/dotty. That’s the downside covered. He is the most experienced Heir we have ever had. He is sensitive, wise and intelligent - the first Royal to gain a degree. He is expert at Court procedure and protocol. He has a strong sense of duty. He has a vast range of interests (it would take too long to list them - it is fair to say that is an authority on many subjects. He is and has been a very competitive sportsman, in particular at polo.He has done military service in the Navy, commanded a minesweeper and deployed on the Cod wars (OK, not uch of a conflict, but thats all that was happening then). He is sophisticated and cultured, and champions the Arts.He is a a published author, a fair watercolour artist. He has travelled the world extensively and is very good at talking to a range of people, the world over, putting people at ease.He is a sucessful businessman and entrepreneur (Duchy Originals). His novel creation of the Prince’s Trust has helped many young people in and out of business. He conceived of an entire new town (Poundbury), showcasing his architectural point of view.He is one of the few philosophers and deep thinkers in the Royal Family. He is a noted conservationist. He is an exceptionally accomplished amateur gardener - his gardens at Highgrove are world-famous.He has an excellent sense of humour.Summary - perhaps he has been under-rated by some, but it would be hard to see why. His qualities and skill-set are hugely impressive. The bad marriage is a long while ago. Being a bit eccentric and pampered is hardly the crime of the century! He will make an excellent King - it makes no difference that he will be in his 70s when he accedes to the throne - that’s the way hereditary monarchy pans out sometimes.

Who would be king if Prince Charles dies before Queen Elizabeth II?

Nobody. Let me explain:As I understand it, the royal order of succession in UK is linear, not collateral. If a monarch dies leaving children, and the eldest also leaves children but dies before ascending the throne, his eldest child, not his sibling, is next in line. The only way the sibling ascends the throne is if the elder sibling dies childless. Charles currently has two sons. So if Charles were to die before the Queen, his eldest son William, not any of Charles’ siblings (Anne, Andrew, Edward) would be next in line.Note, however, this is assuming that the still-living Queen does not retire and become “Queen Mother.” She remains Queen until she decides not to, or dies. Until one of those circumstances occurs, there would be no King.

Back in the 1970’s Prince Charles spoke to Parliament about the problems plastic would cause for the World. Is he prophetic and years ahead of his time?

I don't think it was prophetic, it was educated. The facts are there to be researched and it was never rocket science that an ever-increasing population, all with a throw-away attitude to resources, was going to come to a head. The media have spent 40 plus years mocking Prince Charles for his views on the environment. They have accused him of everything from being a tree-hugger to being anti-scientific. They have portrayed him as being a bored king-in-waiting who passed the hours away by having little crusades about nonsense, writing little letters to have a rant and a moan because he had nothing better to do. The reality is that he has heavily researched, using science, the environmental damage we are causing. He has invested his own time and money to try and do his bit to bring these issues to the public arena. He plants trees, he tries to stop rare breeds of animals and fauna from disappearing forever. He has tried his hardest to use his influence to highlight these issues. None of this is prophetic, it’s about pulling our heads out of the sand and acknowledging it’s an issue NOW and stop pretending it’s not happening and leaving it for our kids and grandchildren to sort out.

Why did it take until 2005 for Prince Charles to marry Camilla when he'd been separated from Diana since 1992 and Diana died in 1997?

Why did it take until 2005 for Prince Charles to marry Camilla when he'd been separated from Diana since 1992 and Diana died in 1997?Not that it’s any of our business but the royals had a major repair job to go through after Diana Spencer’s death due to public (media?) perceptions.Although there is a focus on protecting the monarchy, maybe it should be remembered that Diana and Charles’ kids were only 12 and 15 when she died - possibly not a good age to introduce another woman, and Camilla’s youngest was only 19.In all likelihood, Diana’s death delayed Charles’ and Camilla’s marriage by several years under the unspoken ‘decent interval’ scenario. But we can only guess.

Do Prince William and Prince Harry have valets who dress them, like the people do in Downton Abbey?

Prince William has a gentleman who acts as a chauffeur and also attends to his wardrobe. "And last year, the couple employed their first orderly, a young Fijian-born corporal from the Parachute Regiment, whose role involves chauffeuring, logistics and even organising William’s wardrobe."Kate and Wills add equerry to their ever swelling staffQuite what "organizing his wardrobe" involves is unclear but you can imagine that a grown man with military training is quite capable of putting on his own pants in the morning without help. In addition to the recently employed orderly, William and Kate also employ a housekeeper, a nanny, an equerry (personal attendant), a Private Secretary each and two press officers. That's the staff that they personally employ. The palace that they reside in is called Kensington Palace and has its own staff of cleaners, attendants, gardeners, butlers etc which also serve the royal couple.

How do you get around using the work number for employment verification?

Call the company and ask if that person is currently employed there

or you can ask speak to this person and use a payphone to do it.

They will let you know if such a person is currently employed with them. They

would have no reason not to let you know - -
