Printing An Email Will Not Show That There Were Attached Items.

Which is correct: please find the attached file or please find the information?

Although “Please find attached file / attachment” (in short, ‘PFA’) is pretty commonplace, I am personally against this usage. You normally ask someone to “find” something which is not readily available. e.g. find a key or wallet that was misplaced / find a place to sit (in a restaurant or park etc.) / find solution to a problem and so on. When you are referring to a file that you have attached (to an e-mail), the attachment is readily available to the recipient - no need of “finding” it. “Please refer the attachment / attached file” should be enough.

Can you recycle paper with pen ink on it? What if they are attached with staples?

This is probably a stupid question, but it's with good intentions, I promise. For my Seminar in Literature class, all twenty of us students have to print 20 page papers for each student in the class. If that is printed double-sided, that is 4000 pages. That is a lot of pages. I plan on volunteering to recycle them for everyone, but because we will be marking on each other's papers with ink, I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time by recycling something that shouldn't be recycled. Also, they will all most likely be stapled. I don't want to remove 400 staples. There's only so much I can do for the planet as a full-time college student with two jobs. Can I recycle them with the staples?

Can you bake polymer clay with a printed image on it?

I want to make a polymer clay charm with a printed image from a computer glued on it. Online I saw that you have to bake it first, then glue the image on it with a special glaze. I accidentally bought the glue instead of the glaze. I guess you bake the item, then apply the glue to it, then bake it again. I don't want to burn the house down, but I was wondering if it is safe to glue the image on to the item, then bake it again? Please help ASAP!!!

How do you scan something ex. credit card on your printer or copy machine into your computer?

For the purpose of this article I presume you have a scanner hooked up to your computer. Older scanners were connected to the printer port; now, generally, scanners are USB same as almost every external device.

Usually, your scanner has one or more buttons on it, that you press one, and it sends a message that activates the software to either do a scan, or a print, or save as a file, which then activates the scanner to take the image.

At least that's the way mine does it, and it's a Canon $80 scanner, it wasn't very expensive. It simply does scans, it does not print or anything else. It's also a flatbed scanner, which is the safest to use when scanning items because there's no chance of damaging them. It's also the slowest, but unless you're doing volume scans the time it takes isn't that significant, perhaps one minute for a full 8 1/2 x 11" page.

If the button feature isn't present, your scanner came with some program that you activate that tells the scanner to begin doing a scan.

You will want to save to a file. You then attach that file to the e-mail. Be sure you know what you're scanning and if it shows you the area in question, that you mark it correctly, as sometimes the scanner program guesses which part of the image to capture and guesses wrong.

Why does my printer keep printing blank page?

There are few things more frustrating than carefully putting together an important document or file and pressing ‘Print’, only for the printer to send out a completely blank sheet of paper, as fresh-faced as the day it left the ream. There are a few things which could be the cause of this problem so we will run through the most common, and detail how to rectify these problems in a timely fashion.Empty CartridgesWe don’t want to sound condescending, but have you checked the ink/toner levels in your cartridge? They may have completely depleted since you last used the printer. Check the ink/toner levels and replace when necessary.Disconnected CartridgeEven if your cartridge is full and ready for action, it may have become slightly dislodged and no longer in full electrical contact with the printer. The easiest way to rectify this potential problem is to simply remove and reinstall the cartridges. This may complete the electrical circuit and ensure everything runs and prints as normal.Incorrect Paper SizeIf you have accidentally (or purposefully for a previous print job) changed the in-program paper size setting without reverting back to your paper size of choice – it could be confusing the printer. Go into Print Preview or the print settings and make sure the correct paper size is selected.Clogged NozzlesThis problem is particularly likely to affect people who use their printer quite infrequently, with hardened ink potentially clogging up the nozzles. If your printer has a ‘Print Head Nozzle Check’ option, select that and let the machine clear the nozzles. This should remove any blockages and help the ink to flow once again.Windows:- Open up Printing Preferences (this is accessible in a number of different ways, depending upon the version of Windows)- Click Maintenance- In the Settings section, select Skip Blank Page- Save your settings by clicking OKMAC:- Open Finder and select System Preferences- Depending upon the version of OS, select either Print & Scan, Print & Fax or Printers &Scanners:- Select Options & Supplies- Click either Driver or Options- Tick the Skip Blank Page and click OKAfter trying all the above solutions, If problem continue then reach out printer repair service center for resolution. There may be any technical problem with your printer.

Is bold font in email impolite / rude?

I have been sending job application emails around. I bold some sentences in there to emphasize some points. But now a friend told me that bold font in email is considered impolite/ rude. Is that true? I know the capitalized word is rude in internet use, but don't know even bold is. then how should I emphasize things, underline? italicize?
