Pro-ana diet plan...?

1st off pro-ana means you are Pro-anorexia. Anorexics dont eat, or eat very little. If you are pro-ana, your ideal meal plan would be

Breakfast: Air
Lunch: water
Dinner Air and water

Sounds great right?

Nope. Just answering your question. Write me if you need someone to talk to. Not many people on yahoo answers really want to help.

Do people who go on sites like MyProAna really have anorexia?

I just wanted to respond to this because I am an mpa member. The truth is mps is a mixed bag. Yes, there are a lot a lot a lot of people there who have eating disorders. I'm one of them. There also are a lot of people there who are trying to develop eating disorders (as insane as that sounds, it's true) or who are in the early stages of an ED. I disagree with the poster who said most members there are over 200 lbs. That is extremely false.The fact there are people there with real disorders can't be disputed. But the purpose we are all there varies by person. Some are truly there for recovery support. Others are there because they truly believe an ED is a lifestyle choice- which is why the site was originally created although it's creators have since grown up and come to their senses. There are also those who have not been medically diagnosed with EDs and are “pro-extreme dieting” if you will, that are there to connect with others for tips on losing weight. I believe the reason MPA is so popular and has outlived so many other sites of it's type is because you can find pretty much anyone there who supports you - no matter what stage you're in.All of us who have EDs there are fully aware we are sick. It's just nice to have people who understand what you're going through and don't judge you.Also, the other posters who said there aren't just people with anorexia there are right. There are a lot of bulimics there and people with other/both disorders, or eating disorders medically recognized but unable to be diagnosed.

What do pro-ana people think of those who end up dying from anorexia or other eating disorders?

I can only speak for myself but I guess some might feel/think the same.In my case, I was not pro ana. However, I suffered from anorexia throughout my childhood and teens. Pro ana and being anorexic don't mean the same thing, I never encouraged anyone to become anorexic but I did check out pro ana blogs to get ideas and try to lose weight; sometimes I only visited them to get more motivation or to see thinspiration.Anyway, back to the question. I never considered myself to be sick enough. I thought that only really skinny girls would get thin enough to die. I believed I had a long way to go for that. Little did I know that, when I was at my lowest, I was only 15 pounds away of falling really sick and in enough danger to die. I could've easily lost those 15 pounds in a couple of months if my parents hadn't noticed I was acting a bit off.To be honest, I guess it's pretty similar for smokers or alcoholics. I mean, they might feel sad or worried for someone suffering lung or liver cancer as a consequence of it, but when it comes to themselves, they just think “I'm not that bad”, “I don't smoke/drink that much”, “it won't happen to me”.Also, I felt I was not allowed to feel dizzy or tired or sick in general, because I did not consider myself thin enough to be sick, that I didn't skip enough meals or I just didn't fast long enough to get any health problems. To die because of anorexia? Impossible, I was not even thin according to my standards and the fucked up perception I used to have about myself.And the reality is that even though I didn't get to 80 lbs, I do have problems as a consequence of every single unhealthy measure I took to lose weight fast and I'll suffer most of them for life.I cannot say that I am recovered, I struggle with it everyday of my life. I live normal and happily for a few days/weeks/months but no, it always comes back. I do see the risk of dying as a consequence of this and I take it more seriously than I did when I was younger, but sometimes I don't care even though I know. Sometimes the urge to keep doing what you do to lose weight is stronger, and the weight you lose will never be enough. Sometimes you just know and say “fuck it, I'll take that risk”.

Is it true meal worms are bad for leopard geckos?

Meal worms are generally considered a poor choice for staple food, since they have a large amount of chitin in their bodies. This can be reduced to some degree by offering primarily meal worms which have recently shed and have not yet built their chitin levels back up.
These can also be bred at home, and are relatively simple to produce. A bran or other grain substrate and some store bought meal worms are all that's required.
You may hear stories of meal worms eating lizards from the inside, but these aren't documented, and are really just urban legends. No insect consumed by a leopard gecko will be in any shape to injure it from the inside. However, they can bite your lizard's skin if they're not immediately consumed.
You may wish to remove the heads from meal worms before feeding to prevent them from biting your lizard. This is also true for super worms, which are larger and have even more powerful jaws, and could inflict a significant amount of damage to a lizard which isn't large enough to handle them. Super worms are usually fed only to the largest adult geckos.
Meal worms are a popular choice for fattening females before breeding, due to their high fat content. Once again, they shouldn't be a staple diet, but they can be offered in addition to the regular diet to help your breeding female add the weight she'll need for laying.
These insects have a high phosphorus content, and are an excellent choice for feeding your geckos when you travel. This should only be done when you need to, but leaving a bowl of fifty to seventy meal worms while you're gone can feed two to three adult geckos for a week. Remember not to place meal worms directly on the substrate or in an overly shallow bowl, since they can escape and grow up into large beetles!

Chemistry help please?

You assume that you are heating up water. The amount of "water" that you have is 100 mL = 100 grams

You heat it up from 25.0oC to 28.2 oC. DeltaT = 28.2 - 25 = 3.2oC
c = 4.19 (J/gram(water)*oC) o is degrees Centigrade.

Heat = m*c * deltaT
Heat = 100 * 4.19 * 3.2
Heat = 1340.8 Joules

Now you have to figure out how many moles of acid created this heat.
V = 50 mL [ 1 L /1000 mL] = 0.050 L
C = 0.500 mol/L
n = C * V
n = 0.5 * 0.05
n = 0.025 moles.

0.025 mol produces 1340.8 Joules
1 mol produces x

0.025 / 1 = 1340.8 / x
0.025x = 1340.8
x = 1340.8/0.025
x = 53632 Joules

The heat of reaction is -53.6 kJ
I have put the minus sign at the end because I know that the reaction is exothermic which means that the chemicals have given up energy. [The temperature of the water went up].

53632 Joules [ 1 kj / 1000 J ] = 53.632 kj but to three places it is 53.6 kj

Answer D <=========

Problem 2
==========
The acid is neutralized. There is no answer there that is correct although the closest one is D. The water still disassociates to the tune of [H+] = 1 * 10^-7 which should be there unless you haven't learned that yet.

The key word is neutralized.

What would happen if we didn't eat and only drank water?

Thank you, for your A2A request. If you only drank water the first week or two, you would soar like a bird initially, only to end up flying into a power line coming to your demise.Flying like a bird (based on a Subjective thirst moderates changes in speed of responding associated with water consumption study) - Please do not do a water fast it also has some nasty side effects.Your cognition and memory will improve.The immune system improves.You lose fat.You improve your metabolismHowever, you can develop headaches, mood swings, and low energy.Meeting the power line - when your body starts to break down.You will start to lose fat.You will start to loose muscle mass.You will start to lose vitamins and minerals.Your stomach will get bloatedYou fall into a commaYou finally pass awayIt's a slow process but your would die as you starve to death.Hope this helps :-)

What's with anorexia and hot water bottles?

Hey, anorexics feel the cold more easily than others. This is due to lack of insulation from low body fat, as well as lack of energy for the body to do the normal processes used to keep us warm. Consequently it is not uncommon for an anorexic to regularly rely on hot water-bottles for heat.

If you lose weight, does it change your face shape (i.e., from oval to heart)?

Yes, it does.The truth is that if you manage to decrease your overall body fat, then you will experience a huge change in your physical appearance.The lower body fat you have, the more defined your jaw lines will be.That square, sharp face look makes you look incredibly masculine. Of course, the roundness of your face is determined by your genetics as well – but the less body fat you have, the more defined your face will look.Let me give you people my own example.This is how i used to look 4 months back.I was 87 kg's.From college days I wanted to go to gym but was always afraid to go. Finally made my mind and started going to gym and following the proper diet (at least I felt so :P ).After 4 months of gyming and dieting, this is how I look like :It's 4 months of work out which helped me in reducing 20kg's weight.Right now I am 67 kg's.And yes , as per my experience, losing fat (~weight) can change your appearance drastically.Edit 1 : To a the people who are asking me about my diet plan, please dont judge me , I followed my own rules :).Wake up at 5Gym from 5.30 to 7.3020 mins Treadmill, 20 mins cycling , then bench press, chest exercise etc…Break fast at 9 - mostly bread /sandwich.Green tea around 11.30Lunch at 1.30 - Salad + JuiceGreen tea again at 5Dinner at 7.30 - 2 chapatis+sabji+1 bowl rice :).
