Problems With Playing Games

Problem playing games?

It sounds like something is automatically starting itself up while you are playing. The most common problem is Antivirus program running Autoscan. Make sure your Antivirus is set to not Autoscan.

It could also be Windows Update, doing Automatic Downloads. To disable Automatic Downloads, Click Start then Control Panel. Click on Automatic Updates and there will be the option to disable Automatic Downloads.

Hope this helps you.

Problems playing PC game?

Downloaded The Cave and tried playing it on Steam, whenever I try to open it I get this error message: The cave requires a GPU the supports shader model 3.0. The game will now exit.

I took my computer in a got it hooked up with a new graphics card thinking that was the problem, It did not end up doing anything different after it was installed, same message.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

What is the most annoying problem when playing games?

To me, the biggest issue is when it’s clear that you’re playing a video game that was designed to make money. I’m all for making money and I don’t think art making money is a sell out, but the problem is when video games focus on making money instead of making a good game and it shows. For example, pay walls is one of the bigger issues with multiplayer games, and a lot of games are sloppy with gameplay or plot. Issues like this can stop a game from being a true pleasure and can anchor you to reality when you remember that you’re not living in the world of game when sloppy development ruins the experience. The next most annoying thing to me are glitches that interrupt gameplay or the illusion of an immersive world.

What is the biggest problem with playing video games?

For me, the biggest problem is not the amount of time I put in, because on a school week, I barley play an hour if none at all. The problem is no one understands why I play. I only play to spend time with my friends because I know that time is valuable. But I would sometimes play alone when they are not on. Recently I had a friend move to Tennessee. He was one of my best friends, but he also had a Xbox so we were able to stay connected. Now him, our other friend, and I play all whenever we can. And that’s why I play, it’s mostly not for the feeling I get from playing, it’s to be with friends. I hope someone would understand

Problems playing chrono cross (Ps1 game) on ps3!!!!?

i don't know why but my ps3 has the latest update thing but everytime I play, it freezes whenever i cast certain elements on regular monsters and on bosses in the same way. My ps3 is not dusty and i have a lens cleaner disc and have used it multiple times but no luck. For pelple who have played it and know it well, it freezes at the point where they cast the element and after the aura thingy rises and dissapears, the character keeps casting but the element won't activate/start!!!The game has no scratches at all and i even started a new file. I really love playing this game but i hate the fact that i freezes on me when i want to play it the most. Please help me i really want to play it!!!

Also I want to know if any of you have this problem or have heard of it so I can fix this problem. Thanks

Why does PS3 have freeze problems when playing “heavy” games?

Freeze as in crashing, or freezing as in lag?I would guess it’s one of two things. Either hardware-wise the system is failing, in which case you’d see this for any game that seems 3D graphics - intensive and it might be time to try a different PS3.Or, if it happens in certain areas of games, the game has not been optimized properly for the system. Are they games available for other systems, or have they been created solely for the PS3? It’s possible they have just been poorly ported like from a PC game, or had to be downgraded somehow from the “real” versions that were made for the newer generation of systems. Shadow of Mordor comes to mind here, or Dragon Age Inquisition. In my time with the system I’ve had a few freeze-resets happen but it was usually when I’m quitting a game and shutting down the system at once, and it was with a black screen. There is also a famous bit of lagging in the Blighttown section of Dark Souls which I experienced, but it wasn’t too bad.

What is the correlation between playing video games and problem solving skills?

I think it is safe to assume that all video games have lots of problem solving in it. It doesn’t have to be solving for an equation but it is more of finding different methods to finishing a level. For example, Skyrim. You walk around a dungeon and encounter a group of bandits that have not seen you. You have multiple choices : Charge in after dragon shouting at them and pray for the best, use items with that helps you past them such as Ebony Mail, take them out one by one by archery, or just cast a bunch of familiars with support from reanimated corpses. That is a method of solving a situational problem involving combat. Now, there is also finding out how to get to the next section of the map.I couldn’t find an image of the map of this level so I just grabbed this one. I remember being in this one portion where this is a bunch of jackal snipers that are perched atop of these large cliffs that has very dark lighting. Could hardly see them until they open fire on you.My brother and I were stuck there, trying to find a way out of what is essentially a sinkhole. It was dark, lots of jumping to do, and plenty of enemies that are spawning to try and kill you. It was so hard to do on legendary too but we used each other as spawn bases. That being said, playing video games will not help you with your math skills at trying to find the asymptote of a hyperbola or anything but it will help you be more aware of your surroundings to further increase your progression in trying to get out of a maze or something.Hurgh, it just makes you use common sense more and become more independent rather than just sit there and stare at the walls trying to get out.

Xbox 360 game play problem after 3rodd fix.?

As usual everyone who answered this question doesn't know anything about your issue.

I'm guessing your xbox had either rrod 0102 or 0110. This is a ram issue, you might have fixed some continuity issues and got the xbox to boot but you still have ram issues. You can fix your problem by redoing your heatgun tutorial and concentrating more on the ram. You can also do the llammas xclamp fix and put a 2.5-3mm spacer between the ram and the metal case. This will help provide pressure when everything is tightened down.

Here’s lamma’s xclamp fix tutoral

The reason your xbox is doing this is simply because of how memory addressing works. Figure on the bottom of each ram chip there are 100-150 little points. If 10 of those 150 points are having continuity issues, the xbox doesn't immediately have any problems and it boots. Now when your game is playing and it's moving along using different memory addresses and hits one that has a flaw the xbox doesn't know what to do and it freezes. If your xbox was running windows it would throw a blue screen of death and a memory dump error at you.

Anyway do a reflow with a heatgun using this tutorial.

Make sure you're careful, but make sure you get the ram chips hot enough to reflow the bga solder points under them. If you still have this issue i can do a professional reflow for you, just let me know.

You can contact me via my yahoo answers profile if you have any other questions.

Is there any problems registered by playing mini militia game?

Technically, Not a lot. Although there were few problems while connecting to host mobile. But that too only sometimes. Also if someone has cheated and used mods. By far, it is one of the most optimised game ever in terms of connectivity, battery life, and performance related. I never have experienced crash on it.Other than that, Addiction, alot of Abuses(if you are like me!), And literally forgetting everything around you.( We had to keep portable chargers with us so we can play in college lectures.)
