Pros And Cons In Your Own Words Or Experience Don

What are some of the pros and cons (experience) if being muslim in america or in general?

Pros- You know and believe that no matter what happens Islam is correct
Cons- Some people have not heard of Islam or they have but stereotypes only =(

From Australia .... =)

Based on your own personal experience, what are the pros and cons of marrying someone with a different religion to you?

Some can adjust. But most do not. If they do not share a religion one of them often winds up giving up something important to them. If they do not agree on a religion the children often wind up not brought up in either faith. You must carefully consider how important the practice of your faith is to you. How do you want your kids raised? Please note that exposing them to both and letting them choose, as good as it sounds, does not really work. Are you willing to give up practicing your religion and give up the option of raising your children in your religion? Because the chances are very good that this is what will happen. Even if your spouse is supportive and says it doesn't matter, you will be alone in practicing your faith and raising your children. If your religion and your practice of your religion is a significant part of your life then you want to find a partner who will share it with you, who will support you in your faith, who will help you pass on your heritage to your children.I was told this before I married. I ignored it. It turns out that they were right.

I am planning to own a Kumon franchise. What are the pros and cons? Anyone in the same business?

Disclaimer: I worked as an assistant at Kumon for 4 year. I did not own the franchise so I can only give my impressions and what I heard from my bosses. I have listed some thoughts and observations about Kumon - it's up to you to decide if they are a pro or a con.Get to work with children of all agesGet tangible, measurable evidence of helping children from point A to point BKumon takes something like 50% of profitsMost students are intrinsically against the prospect of extra homework every night. The business/method/program is extremely rigid (As a qualified teacher, this irritated me to no end, but it could also be very supportive and helpful for someone with less experience in education.)Parents can be real pain to deal withThe training and support provided to franchisees is extensive and thoroughKumon is a world-wide, well established company with a well-honed business modelThe work itself is very repetitive (but the children obviously are not)Create meaningful connections with children  (Obviously very rewarding, but it is an absolute necessity)Long hours (My bosses spent many, many hours at their centre. It was a very large centre however and one of the best in the country so perhaps such long hours were not necessary...)My centre hired mostly secondary and tertiary students as employees. It worked well as a casual job for me because I was only expected to work about 6 hours per week (Our centre was open for 12 hours per week). This meant that it fit in well with my full-time studies (I started working there while I was getting my Bachelor and continued while I was getting my Masters). My bosses were also very flexible when it came to exam time. It did mean though that many new employees required a lot of training since they were still teens and/or had little employment experience. As with any casual employment, there was a reasonably high turnover of staff.

Pros and cons of Being a Man and Pros and Cons of Being a Woman?

Compile a short (and hopefully dashed with some humor) list of pros and cons for being a man and pros and cons for being a woman. Here’s a short one I came up with.

Man:

Pros:
*no periods
*less time needed to go to the bathroom
*smaller tear ducts

Cons:
*being kicked in the balls is a life staple
*shorter average lifespan
*if they do happen to cry, they’re accused of being gay

Woman:

Pros:
*less effort required to find a man that will want to sleep with her than if she were a man looking to sleep with a woman
*can cry without being called names
*can orgasm multiple times in a short amount of time

Cons:
*boob slaps are common and do hurt
*have periods/push a bowling ball out of their vagina
*long hair (which is more common in women than in men) takes so long to wash in the shsower/bath

What are the pros and cons into having kids?

cons- they cost a lot, your life is not your own anymore, everything changes

pros-i have never loved anything more in my life. i didn't even know i was capable of loving something this much
