What are the pros and cons of courtship versus dating?
Courtship isn't a term that has been used in England for a generation but I will assume that you give it the meaning that my nan did, which is what she called the time she spent with my grandad before they were married. I also think that in America it is common to date several people at the same time, I will assume that is the case too in this instance. I hope my assumptions are right! The pros of dating would be:1. Getting the chance to meet a wide variety of people. 2. Lack of commitment3. A chance to improve your social skills4. A chance to experience rejection and learn from it. 5. A boost to your ego ( by dating multiple people who find you attractive) Cons of dating:1. The chance of multiple rejections2. Lack of commitment (some people see this as positive, some as negative)3. Lack of intimacy4. Not having one special person in your life whom you can rely on for emotional support. Pros of courtship:1. Having that one special person With whom you have an intimate relationship with2. Love3. It's leading towards a commitment (marriage)4. Sex is virtually always better in a committed relationship (100% of the time in my experience) 5. Not having to go out on multiple dates 6. It's better for the soul in most cases, to be in a committed relationship, it makes you grow as a person and become more accepting of other people and their foibles7. Risking your feelings and allowing the possibility that you will be hurt and rejected is a very important life lesson to learn, people who don't learn it are often troubled and lonely and repeat negative patterns of behaviour in relationships to 'avoid' getting their feelings hurtCons of courtship1. You can only have sex with one person, (assuming you have morals and are faithful) some people find this objectionable. 2. You have to deal with your unhappy/angry partner in a civilised and constructive manner, you can't just tell them to f'off if they are bothering you. 3. You have to take into account somebody else's feelings when deciding how to behave.4. You have to accept the person for who they are or move on if you can't, even If you like lots of things about the person. 5. Pros and cons of working night shift?
i've been on graveyard for 2½ years now, so here are my pro's and con's Pro's:No customers; set schedule; weekends off (for me); guaranteed hours; easier to make plans; no dress code; get to skip mandatory store meetings; stocking can make for a good workout; don't need product knowledge, just location; don't have to worry about a curse word or two slipping out cons: sleep during the day; minimal contact with dayshift associates; usually forgotten when it comes to store functions; getting blamed by day crew; if a weekday errand needs to be done, sleep is compromised; phone calls and visitors during sleeptime; when mandatory store meetings can't be skipped there aren't too many cons. 2 years on days were quickly ended when my request for overnights was approved. hope you enjoy it
What's are pros & cons of sleeping with colleague? Or someone at work.
You will not able to love another girl in office...You might enjoy but that enjoyment does not last forever....Its like earning in share markets....you earn and then you invest, further you earn then again you invest....one the market crashes down and you are at a big calculative loss....This loss is no only monetary but psychological....Also this might hamper the relationship with your boss....he will not like such things happening in official....it will cost you good appraisal, promotion and rewards & recognition......If you still want to have a relationship, make it serious and marry him / her....
