How long must you wait to change or remove a condition of an Intervention Order?

I have recently had the police apply for an intervention order against the respondent, who is my brother, in regards to an incident that happened on Friday. I live in Melbourne, Australia.

The hearing was scheduled for Monday, where I indicated that I wanted to go ahead with the Intervention Order being made. The respondent later indicated to the police (at the court) that he agrees with the order being made. However, the police had chosen to omit the "exclusion" condition from the order application (i.e; the respondent must not be within 200 meters of AFM) - which would have meant that my brother would need to move out of the house that we are both currently living in. This was mainly for the fact that the house is under my mum's name.

I then asked to have the hearing ajourned to Wednesday, whereby my mum could attend the court and give her opinion as to whether she wants the respondent (my brother) to be excluded from the house or not.

My question is, if the intervention order is granted with the condition that my brother must move out, is it possible for me to change the said condition of the intervention order in the near future?

For example, my mother is open to having my brother excluded from the house, but would like the possibility of allowing him to come back to the house in maybe a month or two month's time. Is this possible? If I am granted an intervention order that lasts 12 months, how long must the order go for before any amendments to the conditions of the order can be made by me?

This is highly stressful for me, and I have no doubt it's very stressful for my mum too. She is just afraid of us living in the same residence at this moment because she fears that my brother may go to jail or be fined heavily if he breaches the conditions of the order (as she believes that's a high possibility) while living at the same residence as I am. She just wants him to be outside of the house for a while, to cool down, but has mixed feelings about having him excluded from the house for a full 12 months because she has concerns for his accommodation. Would it be possible to change a condition of the order a month into a 12 month intervention order? Or is that too early?

Any advice on this will be greatly appreciated as I am not completely knowledgeable of how legal proceedings work, so I thank anyone in advance for taking the time to read all of this and giving me an answer, it means a lot.

What do you think of people who say the millennials are going to destroy America? What is your take on the idea?

In a rapidly changing world the differences between generations is greater than ever before because we share so little common culture between each other. Those younger than my 50 years don't fully understand why you "hang up" to end a phone call. They've never had to use whiteout on a document. They've not known a world of 3-5 channels on TV or that a sportscast showing a replay was a big deal or that showing a replay from a different angle was a HUGE deal. The idea of being out of contact with friends and family for hours at a time utterly foreign. When my uncle died my parents were on vacation and I had to break the news to them a day later when they called me to check in and let me know they were still having a good time on vacation. Our expectations of what is "normal" are different and we view the world through a different lens.I happen to find millennials very refreshing to work with. They have a much more sensible view of work/life balance. They may not have zero faith in their employer, but they are close to it. They grew up around the wreckage of loyal workers laid off so their employer can have a better quarter or moving a $15 an hour job to some place where they can pay $1.25 an hour. They seem to be more task oriented and of the mindset that if they need to work 10 hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to complete a task that is fine but if they can finish what is in front of them in 4 hours on Thursday and Friday the whole business of staying a full 8 hours when they haven't been assigned 8 hours of work is silliness. They seem to view the workplace as very horizontal rather than vertical, that is that if they have an idea they find the business of taking it to the section manager who takes it to the group manager who takes it to the top manager just seems utterly illogical, why waste the time and risk communication errors and go straight to the person in charge.A bit more scary to me is a tendency to implement ideas without approval. If you work in a fairly well regulated business, something that is more efficient may not be something you can implement and remain in compliance and millennials seem to be less likely to view past does this improve the work flow efficiency and govern their choices unless you have managed to explain why you do the more inefficient thing, absent that you may discover you've got regulatory violations piling up.Overall, I like them and they give me hope for the future.

How good is a salary of INR 16 lakh p.a. for a 21 year old?

Sorry, Quora. You disappoint me. None of the answers here is helpful. Just pseudointellectual "advice".So you earn 16 lac/year? Congrats. That's great for a 21 year old.Since I only know the salary and age, I'm going to make certain assumptions based on personal experience.Assumption 1: You live in a big city in India (eg. Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore) away from your hometown where your parents stayAssumption 2: You do not have to support your familyAssumption 3: You do not have any loans to pay offAssumption 4: You stay in an apartment with flatmatesAssumption 5: INR 16 lacs is the annual CTC. Companies usually declare the CTC when offering jobs. The salary breakup would look different.I made some approximations and calculated your monthly salary:EDIT: Changed PF after suggestions from Arpita BishoyiThe HRA (House Rent Allowance) deduction is an approximation. The actual amount may be different. So you'll earn approximately 80k per month after paying rent.Your expenses would look somewhat like this:Miscellanous would be your unexpected expenditures like medical or other purchases to improve your lifestyle (high-end gadgets, better furniture etc.).But however hard you try, it would be difficult to spend more than 30k per month at your age.Let's say you fly back home every month. Add another 10k.Finally, you'll still be left with INR 40,000 per month as disposable income. This is basically the income you can do anything with. It's 50% of your income. That's a lot by any standard. So yes, INR 16 lacs for a 21 year old is very good given the above assumptions. But you must be aware that what you earn today may not be the same you earn tomorrow. If the economy is in bad shape and a lot of people are losing jobs, a 21 year old would be the first to take the fall. So don't waste your money. Now if you want advice on what to do with your INR 40,000 per month, I would suggest you read the brilliant answers here depending on how much free time you have to follow the advice:How should a 22-year-old in India invest his/her money? How should a 22-year-old invest time?

How much were the 30 pieces of silver Judas received to betray Jesus worth in today's money?

The word used in Matthew 26:15 (ἀργύρια, argyria) simply means "silver coins,"[9] and scholars disagree on the type of coins that would have been used. Donald Wiseman suggests two possibilities. They could have been tetradrachms of Tyre, usually referred to as Tyrian shekels (14 grams of 94% silver), or staters from Antioch (15 grams of 75% silver), which bore the head of Augustus.[10]. Alternatively, they could have been Ptolemaictetradrachms (13.5 ± 1 g of 25% silver).[11]There are 31.1035 grams per troy ounce. At spot valuation of $17.06/oz (the closing price on Monday, December 12, 2016), 30 "pieces of silver" would be worth between $185 and $216 in present-day value (USD).Schilder suggests that these 30 pieces of silver then get "bandied back and forth by the Spirit of Prophecy."[20]When the chief priests decide to buy a field with the returned money, Matthew says that this fulfilled "what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet." Namely, "They took the thirty silver coins, the price set on him by the people of Israel, and they used them to buy the potter's field, as the Lord commanded me" (Matthew 27:9–10). Although many scholars see Jeremiah's name as included in error,[21]Jeremiah's purchase of a field in Jeremiah 32 may indicate that both prophets are in mind.[22]Craig Blomberg argues that Matthew is using typology in his quotation, rather than "any kind of single or double fulfillment of actual predictive prophecy." According to Blomberg, Matthew is telling his readers that, "like Jeremiah and Zechariah, Jesus attempts to lead his people with a prophetic and pastoral ministry, but instead he ends up suffering innocently at their hands."[23]William Hendriksen argues that Matthew is referring to Jeremiah 19.[24]Blomberg also suggests that Matthew may also be saying that "Jesus' death is a ransom, the price paid to secure a slave's freedom," and that the use of the blood money to buy a burial ground for foreigners (Matthew 27:7) may hint at the idea that "Jesus' death makes salvation possible for all the peoples of the world, including the Gentiles."[25]Thirty pieces of silver - Wikipedia
