Provided Services To Indian Reservation/people/no Pymt Recieved/how To Get Their Debt Paid

I'm a registered Creek Indian.Where's our tribes money?

My relatives are from Oklahoma and I'm tired of hearing about other tribes that have all sorts of benefits and money payments. Where do I go to find out more information on Creek benefits, money, housing or law? How about web sites that gives me more info?

In the United States, how come Puerto Rican Indians are not considered Native Americans?

Here we go with the mysterious benefits again. Why do so many nons claim that we get some sort of "benefits" for being born NDN? Please post a link for us to examine these benefits you say we get and those Puerto Ricans don't. Casino tribes are not "given" casinos nor reservations. Those tribes go deeply into debt financing those business enterprises for many years before they begin to pay off. Reservations are land that we reserved for ourselves when we ceded the bulk of our lands to the Americans or Canadians. This was done thru TREATIES; Can you show us a single treaty the govt has with those Caribbean Indians? Of course not, because none exist. To be Native American, the tribe must have a relationship with the federal govt. I.E. a treaty. Please post us a link to those benefits now.

How do I go about receiving benefits for being Native American?

Well enrolling to get you CIB can be very difficult if you cant show your ancestors are native. You have to show proof of their cib numbers and how your related to them. DNA test don't prove anything besides your human. Money, tribes don't hand you money for being a member, my husband got 22,000 form his tribe but that's because of a lawsuit they have against the government. The only benefits you'll get for being a member is crappy health care at IHS. The only grants that pay for SOME of student loans go to the kids who just graduated school, not some washed up person who might be apart of the tribe. Also most tribes wont accept you if you register or already a member of another tribe.

Why can't Indian government pay world bank loan by just printing money?

Excellent answer by Akshat Agarwal. I like mangoes, but I like cakes more.Suppose you have a cake. You hand out tickets to people so they can each get a piece. If you hand out a thousand tickets, either you're going to have to slice the pieces very, very thin, or a lot of people are just going to have worthless tickets. If you hand out just two, each person can have quite a bit of cake. The value of the tickets, then, depends a lot on how many you hand out. That's basically what money is. It's a promise to pay from the government. You get the money and you can trade it with people in that country for stuff. And just like with the cake, if suddenly tons of people have money, either the money ends up being worth very little or most of the people with money get nothing for it. A good example of this from history was Germany in 1922. Faced with a sagging economy and forced to pay massive debts as reparations for World War I, the government started printing money as fast as they could to meet these demands. Paper mills and printing presses were LITERALLY running as fast as they could night and day. Over a period of six months or so, the value of the German mark dropped 3.7 MILLION times! What you could once buy for a mark now cost four million marks. People literally lugged around suitcases full of money to pay bills. Absolutely crazy stuff.
