Ps Vita Or Wii U Or Ipod Touch 5g Help

Should I get a Ps Vita?

Ipod touch is good for simple time killing apps/games. Some games push fancy graphics, but lack substance. The games are made to be cheap and displosable - you get what you pay for. Like you said (most) games available lack depth, and cannot fully immerse you in gameplay like a console game does. In the end you'd probably end up using your iPod touch for it's primary purpose - Music & Video (which it is great at).

With the PSVita you get a gaming machine with a 5" OLED that delivers beautiful pristine colours at a great resolution. Titles cost more, but are developed by leading studios to give you a now-generation" console quality experience in the palm(s) of your hands. Physical buttons, and dual analogue sticks are a blessing to any gamer at heart. The vita also has a VERY responsive multitouch screen and multitouch pad on the rear, for added functionality and navigation. Besides textchatting you can also voicechat with other vita users. It plays music, video, has maps, facebook, foursquare, flickr, livetweet, Netflix(US), MusicUnlimited(selected countries) and internet browser. Skype coming soon. The Vita does have downsides though - the browser doesn't have flashplayer - so no youtube streaming (kinda Adobe's fault, but Sony should have seen it coming). The camera is poopness (its not primarily for pics - but still). Battery is just good enough. You also NEED a memory card - and they're not cheap. You might also want to visit the PSN store to see if any of the games actually interest you before making a decision though.

People often say that the PSVita is for "hardcore" gamers. I say the PSVita is just "for gamers". It doesn't matter whetther you're casual or not - If you want to PLAY, PSVita is the way to do it.
If you want to compromise there's always 3DS (cheaper, but still awesome in its own way :)).

Playstation Vita vs. PSP 3000?

Should I buy a PSP 3000 now or wait for the PSV (Playstation Vita) to be released?

I'm really only considering three things for this:
My need for music
a decent game selection
Wi-Fi connectivity

I've never had any Playstation or PSP before (I've grown up only knowing Nintendo) but I have played some of the games and I really like the selection for both. Nintendo is way too casual and Xbox is way too hardcore (and I'm never going to pay for multiplayer/live... ever. But this really has nothing to do with the discussion, so back to the topic... PORTABLE systems...)

I was given a Gameboy Advanced SP a while back... right before the DS came out and I felt like it had been a slap in the face. I could have played these older games AND the new ones for DS only. So for years, I have been considering selling the SP and using the money to buy a DS Lite (the newest one that still has backwards compatibility)

But now my iPod, which I have also been happy with for 5 years, is starting to have issues; I suspect that it won't last much longer.

So I decided that I might as well get a PSP to satisfy my need for music as well as have a new game selection. I wasn't even going to bother with the PSP-Go since there wasn't much of a difference between that and PSP 3000. And besides, I've never really cared about the game selection for nintendo.

So I was about to buy a PSP 3000, but decided to do a bit more research... and then I heard about the Vita! WTF! It sounds ok as a system, but it hasn't been released yet. And Sony seems like it's going to focus on the Vita from now on more so than the PSP. I don't want to have an indirect slap-in-the-face again, like with the SP. So I don't know anymore...

Should I buy a PSP 3000 now or wait for the PSV to release (and then wait another 8 months for the price to lower)???

Gift for bf:smartphone or ps vita?

Hi there,I'm thinking of getting my bf a nice gift and I'm starting to save some money for it. He's using an old Nokia phone. And he already has an iPod touch. He's always wanted a Blackberry phone (which I don't really like, cos I don't use BBM), I prefer if he use an Android like Samsung. He did express his interest in owning a PS Vita.
My budget would be less than 4million rupiah (400+USD) and his b'day is next March anyways so I've time to save up.
If you're a guy, which would be a nicer gift? Opinions from girls would be helpful too! Thanks in advanced

Why is everyone hating on the ps vita?

Yes it is a very expensive device due to those stupid memory cards, but its expandable and not completely restrictive like apple products. It also has tech twice as powerful as the most advanced smartphones. Yeah the battery is bad, but it better than some devices like the iPod touch 4g or 3ds. So why all the hate? It has the potential to be a great device in the future.

Would the PS3 be able to run Fortnite?

“Would the PS3 be able to run Fortnite?”Yes, IF the game were optimised to (excuse my language) shit.It will look like it’s running on a potato, though. And Cross Platform Play is not available. So you won’t be playing against your friends who play on PS4s.

How much memory for wii and nintendo 3DS?

Each "Block" noted by the Wii & 3/DS/i is 0.125 MB or 256 KB.

That means...

8 Blocks = 1 MB
80 Blocks = 10 MB's
320 Block = 40 MB's (max for WiiWare titles)
400 Blocks = 50 MB's
800 Blocks = 100 MB's
1000 Blocks = 125 MB's (~0.125 GB)
2000 Blocks = 250 MB's (~0.25 GB)
4000 Blocks = 500 MB's (max storage for the Wii's internal storage)
8000 Blocks = 1000 MB's (~1.00 GB)

On the 3DS, the Nintendo Video app on the 3DS uses ~2500 Blocks for the 4 3D videos it has on it at any given time. Individual videos (like the Mario Kart 7 trailer) uses about 150 blocks.

As for the Wii, save game data must be stored in the Wii's internal storage, which is only 512 MB's... or roughly 4000 Blocks. However, you can archive MOST savegame data onto an SD card.

Unless you purchase a LOT of stuff from the Wii Shopping Channel OR the 3DS eShop, 2 GB's is a good entry point for storage. Otherwise, 4 GB's should cover all your needs. For the Wii, you will want to have a 2 GB SD card on hand for some older titles that utilize the SD card (like Super Smash Bros. Brawl) as they're hard-coded to use SD cards & cannot use SDHC cards (4 GB's or higher).

What would be a better device to get: PS Vita or (Google Galaxy Nexus)?

I think of it this way:

The PS Vita will be the most powerful mobile device of 2012 and the most powerful handheld this generation.

The Google Galaxy Nexus will be replaced by a newer model (still less powerful than the PS Vita) in a couple of months after it is released.

Also, PS Vita will have apps from the PS Vita SDK and Playstation Suite SDK.
