Psy And Snoop Dogg Song

What's your opinion of PSY's (or Snoop Dogg's?) Hangover?

Psy should have sung more, it felt too much like Snoop Dogg/Lion's song. It also felt too American for Psy, he should stick to weird Korean stuff. ♥

Poll:Snoop Dogg vs Eminem vs Biggie vs Dr.dre?

as long as dr dre is in last place ill agree with anyone. ill say snoop dogg, mainy for longevity, consistency, and versatility (look at Funk & Reggae albums).

Is Snoop Dogg still a relevant rapper?

As a rapper today, no. He hasn’t really been producing anything interesting musically in a while and seems to primarily be chasing paychecks and doing whatever he finds fun — which explains some awful features, like the one on that Psy track. If you’re talking about historically significant hip-hop albums, yes. While he hasn’t released anything recently worth talking about, Doggystyle is a classic. It has its fair share of haters, but it deserves plenty of respect and let me just say that there’s a reason Snoop Dogg is so recognizable despite only having one big album. In fact, the rest of his albums were abysmal. Don’t even bother checking them out. You will not find a hidden gem.As a media icon, I think he’s relevant, yes. Like I said earlier, he just gravitates toward whatever he finds fun. It doesn’t matter if it’s narrating nature documentaries or being a(n honorary) moderator of Reddit’s group of marijuana enthusiasts (plus two other subreddits). It makes him a figure that’s pretty interesting to follow on social media and hilariously, some mothers really love him now for his appearances on daytime television.

Did snoop dogg sell out or was he fake to begin with?

Haha. His a middle age man that isn't trying to hate on $hit he doesn't completely understand. He got skills and he likes to stay relevant and he isn't a hater. He isn't going to hate on pop artist, his daughter listens Katy Perry. If he ever was a G he isn't anymore. He is a middle age family man and youth football coach that is still making money in the music industry.

How many views will Psy's video reach? Do you like Daddy song?

Wow. Um I will be honest, I didn't listen to the entire song but I did hear enough to feel confident to comment. It will get a lot of views out of curiosity and from diehard fans but nothing like his "Gangnam Style" because it is terrible.   I liked "Gangnam Style". It was totally different, infectiously catchy and strangely charming and I am a forty plus music snob from the U.K. Definitely not the demographic it was aimed at, but I could see how with the video and the many other versions and parodies it spawned why it became such a massive cultural thing. Notoriously difficult to do that again. Listening to the music it's clear that PSY and his producers have essentially copied the structure and phrasing musically of "Gangnam Style" with the build/build/break/build/soft bit/break sequence. Even the melody, particularly over the first soft break is identical to the corresponding sequence in GS. It's not even subtle how closely he has copied in his own work. And that never works. Sequels that just shoot the same film again are never any good. And it really is terrible.
