Psychologically Speaking What Does This Short Film Say

What are the psychological effects of shunning by an organization?

Writing a paper and wanted to detail the effects of shunning by religions, organizations, or unions. Any experiences would be great. Preferably ex-Jehovahs Witnesses or Mormons or possibly ex Mennonites. Thanks!

Why do some people blink a lot while talking? What does this say about the person or the things he/she is saying? Can we extract any information from that?

A lot of answers have explained the blink rate as a sign of lying. However this is not completely true.An increase in the blink rate can mean cognitive load or excessive thinking, it can also mean nervousness or anxiety. The blink rate can also be copied from another when the person is having good rapport, this is called mirroring and is part of empathy. It is therefore very important to know what a person’s blink rate is when they are under no stress and are not lying and when they are nervous and not lying.Never think that one red flag or behavioral clue signifies lying. This will only lead to trouble. For some people it is a tick which can be genetic or is due to psychological difficulties which I will not go into further because it is not my field of study.

What are the best topics on which a short film can be made?

There is nothing called as best topics, as a filmmaker you need to decide which topic is very familiar for you or in which area you are good at.As a filmmaker i would suggest a horror genres because you can have minimum number of actors or a single actor, single location. With good background music, sound effects and some disturbing visuals you can nail the audience. Some of topics that I can think of are:Humanity. No one born a racist.LoveSocial mediaLoyalty of the DogPsychoEducation systemChild marriageSafety of womenHaunted HouseBlind peopleAny persons life story that is not usually not shown in films but important to our survival, for example barber, truck driver, traffic police, street sweepers etcLove of motherMurder mysteryDepressionLifeHuman raceAI and automationAliensSurrogacyPS : here is our short film, do check it out.

Can Milo be short for Michael?

i love the name Michael & Milo, i think however that Michael is a better full name (for professional reasons etc...) but i want to use the name Milo as a nickname, would this be weird? or acceptable by "societies" standards? it shouldn't be that way but it is.

please don't say "just call him the name you intend to call him by" that's silly almost everyone has a nickname, Milo just isn't a grown-up name, Michael is.

also we live in UK/Spain we have no film called Milo & Otis from the 1980's and no Nestle Milo Drink so don't even bother to mention that lol
