Psychology And Project Management

Would combing a psychology degree with project management be a good idea?

Some understanding of psychology is helpful in developing leadership skills but you probably don’t need a full-blown degree in psychology to do that. Don’t go overboard in collecting degrees - focus on how you will use that information.

Asking a worldwide network of project managers to recommend a good book, I received a lot of suggestions. Which is better a MBA in Project Management or go for a (MPM) Masters in Project Management degree?

I am currently enrolled in a PMI recognized school and working towards my MBA in Project Management however im not a big fan of accounting. So im just wondering if the MPM degree is more limiting in terms finding a job versus the MBA.

What is the difference between engineering management and project management?

I am curious because I have a master in engineering management, but I as an entry level, I can't find a job which fits me other than an entry level in my field (electrical engineer), and project management

Graduation project idea on psychology?

I recorded a video episode for my psychology podcast that has to do with physical attractiveness and how it relates to how long a prison sentence people are likely to get after doing a crime. You might find this helpful. There are two videos actually, but one of them might be an example of what you could do. Here are the links:

I want to study and deeper understand project management. What books do you recommend professional and useful to study?

Since it sounds like you're studying for your examination, I'll assume you've already got the PMBoK covered. With that, this book gets my top recommendation: Project Management: A Systems Approach to Planning, Scheduling, and Controlling (11th Edition) by Harold Kerzner. This one's considered an all-in-one reference to project management, and it covers all sorts of advanced topics like measuring ROI, business justification, project sponsorship, and lots more in its 1,200+ pages. It also has a collection of case studies so you can see how the principles play out in actual projects. I collected over 20 other titles that are widely recommended in the project management community in this article I wrote, if you want to pick up a few other must-reads: 23 Project Management Books for All Experience Levels
