What type of person cant take constructive criticism?
A frightened person... it also depends on what YOU mean by constructive criticism. > Was the criticism really to help the person or just boost YOUR ego? > Did you use the sandwich / hamburger technique to aid them? > How do you know YOUR advice is valid for them? > What do YOU mean by constructive?
Why can't I accept criticism ?
Your problem may just be that your a very sensitive person and that you want everything you do to be perfect. I'm a perfectionist who had to learn that criticism though it may hurt and make me feel bad is for my own good. Even from the people who love and really care about me. You have to realize that the people who give you criticism aren't doing it to bring you down, but in a constructive/bettering yourself manner. Like one of my teachers taught me, my advice to you is "Sweetie, that's reality, that's life, you gotta learn how to suck it up and deal with it". Just keep your mouth shut and do better next time. If you get a bad grade on a test what do you do? Study and work harder. Apply this method to life and you'll be a better person because of it. Everyone is going to try to bring you down but it's your job to show that you can take it and stand on your own two feet. I wish you the best of luck!
Can a Narcissistic person show fellow-feeling to some degree...?
After doing a little research on Narcissism, I strongly feel my husband is Narcissistic in some ways. But he takes personal interest in my feelings and of others...He's a good tipper in restaurants and he shows appreciation for good deeds and says "Thank you so much"...So I'm not so sure if he really is...Can a Narcissistic person have fellow-feeling and still be Narcissistic?
