Pti Is It A Good Accredited School

What is the best interior design school in Canada?

Hey there! My name is Alexandra and your question can be answered in a few different ways. I think it'd start off by asking you to clarify how you define "best". There are a lot of variables that, combined, define the quality of a school. Some of the variables can be things like: costprogram sizestaff qualifications program credentialsphysical spaceusable facilitiesgeographical locationcertification(s) offered (degree, certificate, diploma, etc.)design industry reputationIt's also good to take into consideration where you are interested in working afterwords, since different geographical areas have different accreditation requirements. For Canada... I suggest looking at the Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) website. It offers a lot of information about schools and certification exam requirements. Please note: As of 2017: programs recognized by CIDA will become the minimum education standard across Canada, with the exception of Quebec.THIS MEANS that you should strive to go to a school that is CIDA accredited. Here's the IDC List of schools across Canada that offer interior design programs, but please be aware that the CIDA accredited programs have "CIDA" listed beside them.If you're interested in reading about my personal choice and reasoning, then please visit my blog post. I hope this post helps and inspires you you get out there and find out where you want to learn!

How much does a journalist earn on an average in India?

“So, how much do you earn?”“Please don’t ask Indian journalists that, it hurts,” is my standard response to non-journalists.I mean, I have non-journalist friends, who were pretty average in school, zipping across the world, having dinners at 5-star hotels. Meanwhile, me and my journalist friends are cribbing over our office canteen being temporarily closed and us having to shell out Rs 150 for lunch, versus the Rs 60 at which we get the subsidised canteen lunch. I guess the crazy rents in Mumbai makes life harder for journalists based in the ‘city that never sleeps’.Needless to say, starting salaries in Indian journalism aren’t as impressive as the profession sounds. There is that stereotypical image a lot of people have about journalists in India - the jhola toting journo in a kurti, with disheveled hair and chappals. How much do you think this imaginary person earns?Well, stereotypes aside - the starting salary of a journalist can range anywhere between Rs 8,000 per month to Rs 35,000+ depending on which media organisation the person is working for. I would put the average starting salary at 20–30k, which is pretty good I suppose. But the thing is, even if you study in the best university in the world and score a 99% in your college, you would still start as a trainee in an Indian organisation and earn as much as a journalism graduate from some Mithaiwaala college you’ve never even heard of.Although, I am not saying studying in an awesome college does not have its advantages. It gives you an edge over the mithaiwaala kid. Studying from a great J-school can guarantee you a job in a good paper/channel. And it’s not very easy to get in the media.Once you are a journalist, the growth curve depends on how well you do in your career. From what I have seen, people who perform well, are usually rewarded well. From my batch, people have been in the industry for almost 5 years now, and our salaries still range from about Rs 35,000 to one of our best student earning Rs 1.3 lakh per month. But here is some good/comforting news - apparently, American journalists get paid shit as well. Depends on which state they are working in though. This one is from a pretty old Gawker article, but I couldn’t help inserting it. According to CareerCast in 2015, a newspaper reporter’s job was ranked as the worst job to have in the USA.

Which is the best business analyst certification, PMI, PBA, or CBAP?

PMI offers PMI-PBA certification which recognizes an individual’s expertise in business analysis. This examination measures and evaluates the specific knowledge of a candidate to function as a business analysis professional. From IIBA viewpoint business analysis is all about understanding how a business solution will align with the day-to-day operations of a business. This is not to say that PMI has no interest in helping organizations to improve their core business operations, or that the IIBA has no interest in supporting the program/project management. It is that both these organizations have a different emphasis on business analysis. For those individuals who mainly work on projects and programs, and for those who perform a dual role of a Project Manager / Business Analyst, the PMI-PBA is a good certification to possess.Strategic, Enterprise BAs, Subject Matter Experts and those BAs who are professional BAs would not gain much from the PMI-PBA certification.Business analysts may find value in the PMI-PBA certification, but the IIBA certification would most likely be more meaningful for their roles. . The table listed below was created to understand which certification might be best suited for individuals based on their rolePMI PBA Vs CBAP Cost ComparisonThe fee listed below is applicable for the members of IIBA and CBAP.
