If all the large animals in the world (big cats, bears, apes, elephants, rhinos, hippos etc.) decided to attack humans, would our armies win (no nukes) or would the animals eventually overrun us?
This wouldn’t even be funny.Of course, there would be some casualties in the beginning, mostly due to the sheer shock of this event, but unless our society was in state of complete apocalypse and chaos or animals were using some kind of supernatural force, once we make our move…..there is no possiblity of other outcome.Humanity would win by a landslide.You know what? Let’s make it more challenging….Take away our guns. Using current miltiary technology would just be a major overkill at this point. We would be perfectly able to get the job done by having nothing but fire, armors, shields, bows, axes, swords, spears etc.We have been doing it that way for hundreds of years, after all…And bring back all of the extinct megafauna back. Mammoths, cave bears, mastodonts, megatheriums, sabertooth tigers, phorusrhacoses….and even dinosaurs. No matter how large, how dangerous or how manny teeth they have.We’ll just drive them all back to the dirt. You want some? Come get some!The only creatures that could pose a threat to humanity, are tiny ones.From arthropods, to rodents, to birds, to to reptiles and amphibians….If they were hell bent on making us disapear from the face of the Earth, it would bring quite a large number of casualties before we find a solution to stop them for good. More so than any number of large animals ever could.They can infect us with various bacterias and viruses, even new ones which we never even encountered. They could poison us. They could destroy our crops, kill our cattle and contaminate our water to the point of it being undrinkable….They could attack us in our sleep, even in safety of our homes.And even if we did won, it would be nothing more than a “Pyrrhic victory.” By destroying them, we would f*ck up the ecosystem so bad that it would hurt us in the process.Because without this little beauty, we would be royally screwed!

If one member of the family became sick, the whole family would be locked into their house together until the person recovered (but more often died). This was terrible as it spread the illness through the family. I know one of the 'treatments' was to burn the sores of the victims (this is disgusting) with hot pokers. There were magics and homemade potions that were given to plague victims. People themselves often carried posies/flower/herbs wrapped in a hankie and held it to thier mouths through fear of breathing in the disease. They belived this method would ward it off. Nostradamus (who was a doctor) and his family died from plague but he developed a treatment of 'rose pills' made from roses picked at specific times that were the most effective plague medicine of it's time. It actually cured several patients. Modern doctors believe this is due to vitamin C content in the rose pills.

Not everyone can get vaccinated. Some people may be allergic to ingredients in a specific vaccine, or they may have preexisting conditions or compromised immune systems that preclude them from receiving a vaccine. Otherwise, to attend public schools, children are required to produce immunization records as a condition of enrollment. Obviously, everyone cannot be forced, but the reality is almost everyone is. In terms of public transportation and public places, you owe it to the unvaccinated population and to yourself and family. Spreading heinous diseases because you just want to is irresponsible.
