League of Legends RP payment?

If it's a bank gift card it should act just like a credit card except it has a preset limit to whatever the card was loaded for. This means that in theory it should have the name of a major credit card on it somewhere, most likely VISA or Mastercard, but any will work. Just go the the Riot store when you get on League of Legends, click the "Purchase RP" button, check the button with the credit card symbols on it and select how much rp you want, and continue from there. Put in what name shows up on the card, the number on the card, etc. Just follow the directions like it's a credit card and you should be good. Good luck!

How is League of Legends free?

They don’t need players to pay for the game or use a subscription-based system to be profitable. Riot has tons of micro transactions in the game that already net them TONS of money (mainly skins and you can also buy champions with RP). However, players do not need to spend money to play the game. All of the same features are unlocked for them. It’s free because that’s what kind of model the creators chose; and so far it’s been very successful.

Is league of legends a good game?

I wanted to know if league of legends is a great and interesting/worth playing game because I have seen a lot of my local gamer friends participating in tournaments that host this game...
I have played world of warcraft and wizard 101 and I have loved them both, but now the question is = Will the game league of legends make me a happy, fun, and a
competitive player?...
(I allso want some information on league of legends: Is the multiplayer good or borring? Do they add new maps? Is it a competitive game? Can you compare this game to world of warcraft and wizard 101? Can I play this with my friends by my side? Does the game have good graphycs? How much money do I have to waste to be able to get to a competitive edge on competitions, because in world of warcraft you had to pay monthly to get to higher levels, but in wizard 101 you had to buy some stupid crowns that got wasted very fast or a very costy month of all the maps...

Ok guys that play league of legends what would be a good xmas gift for my bf??

I'm a girl that plays League but buying him RP would be a good thing. 5/10/15/20 dollars worth will get him a skin/a few skins which is what players buy on the game. You can get the prepaid cards at a lot of places, I've seen them at walmart. Or you could look for tshirts online but they're pretty expensive. http://www.jinx.com/lol.htm

You could look up pictures of his favorite champions (ask him what his favorite is) and then try to make a cool art or put it onto a cake/cupcakes. It's awesome that you're putting so much thought into his gift ^_^

How can I stop spending money on league of legends?

It's easier if you have kids because all you have to do is think about how your kids will suffer because you keep buying stuff from game sites or have bills. Set goals for yourself, like “If I save up this much and pay all bills, I will reward myself buying something from league of legends”. It may be hard but be in CONTROL , I used to buy something little everyday to the point where it added up and I'm like “Damn, that could of went to savings”I just think of how broke I would be and also in my culture, there's a lot of spendy rituals; a funeral could cost 35k-80k and having to be ready to help pitch in. A blessing ceremony is around 1k and you have to do one everytime you have a kid. Just imagine all the expense you will accrue in the future! Like car damages or house damages!

Why is League of Legends so addictive?

IMO:There are two stages in the game. The first stage is where you learn the game. At this stage, people learn how to farm, how to win the game, the objectives of the game, which champion does how much damage at what level / with which items etc. After you get this stage done, if you continue playing, the game gets more addictive. And I think that's because the second stage is where you actually understand the game, play it strategically (enough that you actually think about it; builds, tower destroying mechanics, making decisions etc.). At this stage, people either grind elo on their own / with their teammates, play for fun with their mates or play competitively. If you play only for fun with your friends / or yourself I think it is actually not that addictive. The addiction part comes from the competition, not LCS-level competition for a regular SoloQ player obviously, but you take the game seriously. The 20 lp you just lost matters to you, like you actually lost something in real life. Because you are convinced that you indeed lost something; the time you consumed to get that lp in the first place. So you put the effort into the game, and regardless of the result of the game -if you care about the game- it attracts you to play more. And that's I think because if you win; you always want more and if you lose; well you just played 2 games (assuming you lose & gain the same amount of lp) and won nothing. Which means you lost the amount of time it takes for you to play 2 games. This is my take on why it is addictive, I think it comes from the competition part.
