What's the best eyeshadow colour for brown eyes?
Shimmery creams/beige, golds, greens can actually look nice if you find the right ones and know how to use it. This will sound weird, but my new favorite is by Urban Decay called "Mildew" but it's actually really pretty despite its name. The lady at Sephora picked it out for me. I'm not really sure what you mean by berries n' cream (haha, that commercial cracks me up) but sophisticated would mean less on the eyeliner, more on the mascara for a bright eyed look. You could also use bronzer on the apples of your cheeks rather than blush for a sunny glow.
What are some eyeshadow tips for someone with brown eyes and tan skin?
Jewel tones will work really nicely. I like using them on the lower lid, then keeping something neutral, like your brown or a slightly more smoky taupe, on the upper lid to below the brow bone. This makes them more wearable. For more definition you can add a soft black or very dark brown to the outer corners. Dark blues and blue-greens will really make the brown eyes pop, purple is very flattering as well as deep copper bronzes and can bring out green tones if you have them in your eyes. Greens can be beautiful but you need to make sure the undertones work with your skin tone. Some greens can make your skin look yellow. Also make sure all these shades are medium to dark, not light. You could also use these same shades to trace around your entire lashline, top and bottom, while using a neutral liner and shadows everywhere else.
Is purple eyeshadow ugly?
Stick to colors that are light and wont drown your pretty blue eyes out, light blues, grays, and greens work well with your eye color. Purple is really great for people whom have dark brown eyes along with black or really dark brown hair. its like..I have brown eyes...it's like if I wore really dark eye shadow and that eye shadow happened to be blue..ewww...i'd look like a tramp X_x

since you have a dark purple shirt then i would go with purple eyeshadow (: just on the lid! you don't wanna overdo & make it look like you have a black eye lol any other color would jsut throw off the outfit D: silver will make it look..i dont even know lol and the gold will make your eyes look wierd cos your not wearing anything gold lol im 15 so yea i wear eyeshadow every once in a while. i would actually just wear some eyeliner and mascara (: so it looks natural, but heey if you want to put eyeshadow go ahead! just dont overdo it they probably won't even see cos you'll be watching the movie in a dark room D: haha have fun! Purples, greens, and blues are the best colors for brown eyes, but anyone can really wear any color as long as its in the right shade. Go to sephora or a makeup counter..(MAC is my fav) and have a makeup artist help you. I am a makeup artist with brown-gold eyes and wear greys, blues, oranges, greens etc...any color works, but application is key! Let them help you pick out colors and have them suggest the best type of brushes for the look you want. They will be more than happy to write it down for you if you cant buy it right then. Eyeshadow color for chestnut brown eyes?10 POINTS?
Im gonna list a few colors and tell me yes or no if it would look right (i have fair medium skin) -brown eyeshadow?(darker brown than my eyes) -Greyish brownish eyeshadow? -Light shimmery pink eyeshadow? -Light shimmery purple? I wear black eyeliner on top lid and on outer corners and a light brownish on bottom lid.i use black mascara too and curl my lashes . now i just dont know what eyeshadows to get , i want to buy around 5 different colors for school (maybe 2 quad eyeshadows u kno where they have 4 shades of a certain color in a eyeshadow pallete)

dark eyeshadow would work well on a dark shirt and a light eyeshadow would work well on a light colored shirt. Black would work well with any colored shirt.
