Push-ups More Difficult After Losing Weight

Will I lose weight doing only push-ups and sit-ups?

To be honest bro, no. My cousin was a chubby *** dude before he hit the gym. He did NOTHING but pushups and sit ups at home, and some pullups and other exercises with dumbells. He gained muscle, but still stayed fat.

You CANNOT lose fat or weight without cardio. You just can't.

Doing pushups would help alot. Pushups are one of the best exercises to do because it gains muscle on your arms, back, shoulders, chest, and it's a great workout,

BUT,

it's a muscle gaining workout, not a fat-cutting workout. So just say if you had man boobs, and you gained alot of muscle in your chest, your moobs would look even bigger.

OFCOURSE don't stop doing pushups. Do pushups, they're great exercises and will give you great biceps and a nice back, but you have to buy a cardio machine. Such as a rower, treadmill or bike.

You CANNOT see your six pack abs if you have a layer of fat around it, and doing pushups and situps won't remove that layer of fat, cardio will only.

ONE MORE THING, don't bother with sit-ups. They're a waste of time. They're probably the most useless and pointless exercise to ever be invented. They do nothing, and someone will exerpience will tell you that. EVERYONE has abs, you just have a layer of fat covering them, so don't bother with situps.

Do push-ups and sit-ups help you lose weight?

It's the exercise aspect of it that makes you lose weight. Those exercises will help build your muscles and the exercise in itself will burn calories.

If you do push ups and sit ups will you lose weight?

sits up, yes but push ups won't do anything to make you lose weight only build up strength in your arms

Will weight loss make push-ups easier?

Usually, when you lose weight, especially if it’s a significant amount of weight it makes it easier to do any kind of exercises where you need to work with your body weight and upper body - pushups, pull-ups, dips etc. And in general, usually (not always) when people lose unhealthy excess weight it gets easier to do any kind of exercise.

I have difficulty in doing push-ups. What are other exercises which can help me lose weight?

I agree with Bobbi Billard. Consistency is key here.Push-ups alone won't result in weight-loss, but incorporating push-ups into a high-intensity workout will, by helping you build muscle and expanding your cardiovascular capacity. For example:In 15 minutes, perform as many rounds as possible of:10 Wall Push-ups (I've modified this to make it easier since you're having trouble with it at the moment) 10 Burpees10 SquatsRun 200 metersThe more intense your workout, the more oxygen your body needs to perform and recover, and the bigger your overall calorie burn, even hours after your workout. However, be aware that muscle is more dense than fat, so if you do gain  muscle, your weight will likely go up, not down. Try paying attention to how your clothes fit rather than the scale (do they fit better, feel  looser?) to get a better indication of your weight-loss progress.Your workouts will contribute about 20 percent to your total weight loss results. The remaining 80 percent will come from the food you eat.Hope that helps!-Michele.Join my tribe at michelelian.com

Should those who have heavy weight bodies do push ups?

It is always hard for a beginner to lift heavy or do body weight exercises. Especially body weight exercises when you are heavy because there is no gradual increment in difficulty level. for example push up or pull up.Since those people who go to gym regularly can do much more push up or pull. It is hard to the ego of beginners. So if you are beginner or have too much body weight , try to find alternate exercise to them. Some time you can find better exercise than the regular one and try to strict to them. For example, Bench press much better than push up (In this context ). You can choose your own difficulty level(means how much weight you want to lift). Regular bodybuilder do not do push as main exercise to chest.Tips: Don’t ignore leg exercises. Try to do squat and dead lift and regular basis. Train your legs more than the upper body. It will help you to lose weight and also tone you upper body. (Legs exercise increase testosterone level much more than upper body exercises. Testosterone is keys to weight loss and muscle building.)

Help? I can lift weights but not push-ups?

I've been working out for 15 years and that is something that I experienced as well. The reason is because you are losing your endurance when lifting weights.

Usually when people do push ups they are doing any where from 20-30 a set. Then on the weights if you are lifting for bulk you are doing around 8-12 reps each set.

What I would suggest is that you alternate your workout routines when lifting weights. Lift with lighter weight and do a minimum of 20 reps per set.

So if I were you I really wouldn't worry, but it all depends on what you are training for. If you want to be more cut looking and, have more endurance you may want to increase your repetitions.

To your success

What would happen if I did 10 pushups a day? I weight 130 pounds. What would happen in the first day, the first week, the second week, and so on?

Hi bro how you doin’?I am assuming you are just starting out. In this is the case, this is what will happen doing 10 pushups a day:The First Day you will feel a little effort in doing them and the day after you’ll probably feel some sort of light pain in your chest (assuming you are just starting out). The First week you’ll have mastered them and you’ll no longer feel pain the day after you do them. The second week you’ll make them like drinking a glass of water and so on.My question is: Why the heck should you do 10 pushups a day? It is just a waste of time.Different is if you perform 5 sets of 10 pushups/Day. Then you’ll notice much more improvements in your muscular size and endurance. From there you can progress to 15 reps and more with a decrease to 3–4 sets. This will work great on Hypertrophy.Hope this helped.Did you like this article?Follow Me for MORE FREE ADVICES → Sal Damiata
