Cold war and Canada questions?

1) so if someone tried to invade the ussr they would have their strength sapped by the warsaw pact members, whilst the ussr assembled its army and attacked, unlike in ww2 where hitler was able to surge right into the ussr, killing 20 million innocents
2) NATO never actually expanded - in fact it actually shrank in size in 1966 when france left in protest. The warsaw pact never expanded because the whole point was to surround the ussr with only one layer of friendly states, not enough to isolate it from the world
3) as a member of nato canada had quite a few troops deployed around europe. The memberhsip of nato meant that most of canada's military capability was concentrated on the east coast, leaving the west unprotected, so that canada could easily deploy forces to europe

[Question from Canada] What is the most common and most expensive medical procedure many Americans face? How much does it cost on average?

I’ll answer this in two parts, the most expensive medical procedure(s) in the US and the most common one, as well as its cost. The most expensive medical procedure on average in the United States is an Intestine Transplant with a cost of $1,206,000.00 on average! A Heart-Lung transplant is a close second, with an average price tag of $1,148,400.00! The third most expensive is a Heart Transplant, which costs $997,700.00 on average. The most common medical procedure in the United States is a Cesarean Section also known as a “C-Section” for delivering babies. The procedure is performed around 1,272,000 times in the U.S every year. The cost of a C Section varies by what city you live in, but generally ranges from $11,000.00 to $27,000.00. However, there are exceptions, like in Los Angeles, the average C Section will cost $42,530.00! But in Pittsburgh, it only costs around $4,500.00 on average. It should be noted that all of the medical procedures mentioned above are completely free in Canada for Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents.

Heartland (canada) show question!?

Since I live in the US I can't watch Heartland online. I only ever saw the first episode and it was so good!! I searched everywhere online and I already tried youtube. I watched the first episode on youtube but then when I searched for the next episode they only had 2 parts to it which was like a total of 15 minutes. I've only found episode 5 part 4 then and that was it.

It would be so cool if someone could upload the whole season that US people could watch it, or even if someone could tell me where I could watch all of the episodes online.

The first episode was just so good I'm dying to see the rest of the season! there needs to be more shows like this in the states.

Thanks!
