Dying my hair navy blue at 13?
So I’m 13 ( turn 14 in July) and I really what to have dark jean/ navy hair for spring break (in three weeks). I want to use Manic Panic After Midnight semi permanent dye, and I have medium brown hair with honey blonde highlights. Would this be a good dye for the color I want? Also I get straight A’s, and my mom told me I can do anything I want to with my hair as long as I get her help. My school allows it, and I want to do a big change before I go off to high school. Best Black or Blue-Black Hair Dye??
I am planning on coloring my hair black at home. I've been coloring my hair for years so I know what I am doing. I have connections to professional hair dye that only professionals can get. My cousin is a cosmetoligist. So it doesn't matter is it's grocery store hair dye or pro stuff, I just need to know which is the best brand you've used for black or (preferrably) blue-black dye?? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!
Midnight/ Navy blue hair dye?
Hello! I m planning on dyeing my hair a dark blue color. My hair is currently dark brown/ black color. I do not plan on bleaching my hair at all. I was wondering if anyone would know any good hair dye brands that would be in that color and very long lasting. Thanks! :)
Would I need to bleach my black hair before putting navy blue in it?
If you try to bleach your hair and then dye it blue, it makes the blue turn dark almost to black because of a reaction. If you're trying to dye your hair navy, navy's pretty dark anyway so you might be okay without bleaching.
Should I dye my hair dark blue?
My hair right now is naturally dark brown and i feel like i want to do something to it, so i decided maybe i should dye my hair (but not be too noticeable), but because ive heard stories where my friend dyed her hair from brown to dark red and it turned out orange after a couple of days and she regretted it.Do you think my hair color would change if i dyed it dark blue?? i hope not.... but the plan is that : indoors it looks black but when i go out in the sun you can tell its a little blue. im 14 years old , turning 15 in july and my parents dont really care so they say whatever, so it didnt really help....my friends i should do it too and i think i will but i want to know what you think b4 i do it. thanks for your help :)!!
Can you dye dark blonde hair blue?
You can but you will have to either wait for the blue to fade out or you will have to strip the color and then apply the dye. I had platinum blonde hair about a year ago and then decided to go blue and hen discovered I hated the blue. I tried to go from blue to a dark blonde and it was a disaster because when I applied the blonde over the blue it turned a weird blue green brown color and I looked awful! I ended up having to just strip all that color out and then once that was out I applied the blonde and finally got it to the color I desired. Although… after all that dye my hair was completely destroyed from the damage so make sure you take the time to care for your hair in the process!
Can you bleach out blue hair dye?
Trying to bleach out hair that is blue, this mens that first of all the hair had to be bleached previously in order to make it blue, I dont recommend using straight bleach to remove blue out of the hair , The question should be how can I Neutralize blue hair first with it makes more sense and it would be better for the hair.
Can i dye my hair blue from ginger (which is from dark brown) without it going wrong?
My natural hair colour is dark brown and i recently dyed my hair gingery bold orange (permenant) (it was meant to be lightener to blonde but went orange) now i want to dye my hair blue, electric blue (semi permenant 3-15 washes) (why i lightened my hair in the first place) but i dont want it to go wrong.. Ive heard that if you dye your hair too much it can dry out and snap off/fall out (it happened to my friend) and i dont want that to happen to me.. (we're home dying it) id have to dye over it again in a couple of weeks again aswell cause im not aloud blue for school and faded blue over ginger would look hurrendous anyway... I quite like my ginger hair at the moment (though it does clash with a few of my clothes).. but want blue for christmas,,, should i do it? what are the risks? Is it worth it? (i dyed it ginger last friday and if i dye it blue it will be this coming friday... the ginger was garnier nutrisse pre-lightener and the blue is Crazy Colour Sky Blue by Renbow...) ive dyed it many times before dark purples/reds, i dyed the ginger over the top of a very-faded two month old dark purple.. Help very much appreciated thankyou sooo much anyone who helps me with this (:
