Question About The Fate Of My Cat

Do cats ask questions?

Of course they ask questions.
"When are you getting up?"
"When are you going to feed me?"
"When can I go out?"
"When can I go in?"
"Where are the treats?"
"Why are you filling the bathtub with water while I'm locked in the bathroom with you?"

My cat Jumped on the wood stove? paws question?

That happened to me once in my entire lifetime, and I don't need another scare like that ever again. In my case, it was a cat lusting after a rib roast he had smelled baking all day. The minute I opered the oven door, he jumped on it and, like yours, immediately sprung off with a yeowl.

It was Christmas Day and before the days of emergency vet clinics. He seemed to be OK, and I had no choice but to wait until the next day. He was fine thanks to his quick feline reflexes. Don't upset yourself. Do watch for blistering or other sign of injury. I would be careful not to put anything on there that might not taste very good to your cat, because you know he is going to try to lick it off the minute you do.

What is the percentile if I solve 60/100 questions correct in my CAT exam?

No information was given on whether the solved questions are right, so I assume all of the 60 questions you solved were right , that gets you 180 of 300.That pretty much puts you in the 99th percentile. Congratulations expect calls from top IIM’s provided you have a good academic profile.

If I answer 10-15 questions, and all are right, what will be my percentile in CAT exam?

10-15 questions per section or out of total 100 ?Suppose if u attempt 10-15 questions in each section, each correct answer fetches 3 marks so that would 45 marks in each section , totaling to 90/300. This score would get you around 87-88 percentile. it might slip down to 80 percentile depending upon the difficulty level of the exam , and the number of students taking the exams. And if you are attempting 10-15 questions out of 100, then 45/300 would fetch u as low as around 55 percentile.

I am beginning to question my cat’s motives for cuddling me. Can cats actually manipulate people?

What a question.Everything alive is attempting to manipulate everything it comes into contact with. In fact, you could probably use the attempt to manipulate as evidence of life.Sure your cat is trying to manipulate. It wants more love, it wants more of those wonderful human fingers scratching him under his chin and petting him, it wants more treats, it wants more food, it wants tastier food, it wants to be let in and out of the home to outside at whim.Every person you interact with is attempting to get something from you, even if it is only a pleasant interaction. The more important question is about ‘fair value’Do you enjoy your cat? Does petting the cat make you feel good? Do you find your cat’s personality interesting? Do you feel your cat is a presence in your home that helps prevent loneliness and helps you feel connected to another living being? If so, you are getting fair value for feeding and caring for your pet.

Question about cats, can I use hydrogen peroxide to clean out ear mites in my cat's ears?

Peroxide is very drying. You want to avoid anything that will dry out the ear Because it can cause micro tears which can become infected, especially with mites. Oil coats the mites and suffocates them. Using baby oil is your best bet. It’s far safer than the options you get at the store for mites, but it does take longer. I’ve used it on an elderly cat we have. Don’t tell her she’s elderly! She’s still full of spirit and will claw my eyes out for even mentioning it! Baby oil, the same used for babies, only not scented, can be used in the ears. you use about five drop, rub the base of the ears to help it get into the little twists and turns in the ears, and then swiftly run from your cat to avoid any revenge. You can do this daily, and safely. Start with five to seven days. Use a cotton ball to clean out the icky black wax. Do not use a Qtip! It’s too easy to damage the ear canal if you aren’t seasoned with Qtips and quick kitties. Wait a week to check the ears. If you still suspect mites, another week of baby oil drops is absolutely safe.

If a non MCQ question in CAT is answered wrong, then does it affect the percentile.?

It surely does! As you will get a zero score for that wrong answer whereas person solving it right will get maximum marks allotted to it.Just because it doesn't gives you a negative marks doesn't mean it will not affect your percentile. But yeah if you're asking that wheather if your no. of attempted questions affects your percentile it doesn't. Your total score followed by your correct/incorrect answers decides your percentile score.Edit: Having being appeared for CAT 17, I should tell you all that accuracy plays a role in scaled scores. So try to maximize your accuracy in the exam.

Two questions about female cats...getting them spayed and going into heat.?

Layla definitely needs to be spayed. Aside from preventing pregnancy, having her spayed provides benefits to her health. Unspayed cats are at risk of developing deadly cancers and infections of the reproductive tract. Pyometra is a deadly uterine infection which causes the uterus to literally fill with pus until it is so big it ruptures and releases toxins into the cats system. Cats with Pyo can die within hours if not promptly treated. When cats are in heat, their top priority is to mate. Layla will try every means of escape so she can find a mate. Tom cats may even try to break into the house to get to her.

She will have heat cycles her entire life. Cats of any age can be spayed so make sure to have it done ASAP for Layla. I love that name BTW.
