Does the new medicare medicaid advantage plan mmai cover all costs?
It is "Medicare-Medicaid Alignment Initiative", not "Medicare medicaid aliment interactive" as you put it. It is a demonstration project (meaning a test plan where they are studying the results to see if it is a viable program to take nationwide) in IL for dual eligibles (those that have both Medicare and Medicaid). You'll need to speak with an agent that works with the dual eligible population in your state. The agent will know which insurance company will have the best coverage for you (your biggest issue is which plan does your current doctor accept). There is no charge using an agent. Since it is a demonstration project it will have the same coverage as your current Medicare - Medicaid arrangement. In addition, as a demonstration project it probably has additional benefits or restrictions, and a local agent would know this as well.
If America adopted "Medicare for all," how would the resulting job losses in the medical insurance industry effect the economy?
No job losses just job re alignment.Medicare does not pay 100%. People purchase supplemental policies which have to be sold, underwritten and have claims administered. There will be a multi tier system for those who have no supplemental coverage, and those who close to remain private pay customers.Lots of jobs there
Does medicaid pay for scar removal?
You will need to either use special block out creams while in the sun or keep your back covered, otherwise this scar will become more noticeable and darker. Most scars over the years will fade. But no, this is cosmetic.
My parents don't have health insurance because of Obamacare. What can we do?
Not sure how the ACA did that but the answer is to reprioritize your life or pray you don’t get sick until you make more money or get employment that includes such perks as part of the compensationI hear this every day and not assuming this is your scenario but every day I get someone in who says they can’t afford insurance as they drive up in a new Ford F150 or the like and the kids sit in the waiting room playing Game Boys and wearing Nike sneakers worth $100+Society’s responsibility to provide care to everyone in its borders is long gone as we no longer can afford itIf you are healthy I suggest you focus LOTS of energy on eating well exercising avoiding processed junk and alcohol and tobacco and do everything you can to stay healthy to avoid the need for insurance as you won’t need medical careAs soon as you can start to prioritize your employment and lifestyle habits to align everything making medical insurance higher up the poleDr. Dave
Politics of the United States of America: Under Senator Sanders health plan, will government workers, union members, and private sector employees be forced into the Sanders plan?
EDIT: Question originally asserted that such employees probably "wouldnt prefer" Sanders plan.OH? Whats your average deductible.Sanders Deductible: $0Whats your average copay?Sanders Copay: $0What drugs are not on your insurers formulary? Do you even know?Still sure you wont be happy with his plan?To answer the new question, I would imagine public employees would be moved into the new plan. Which is a plus because now the folks who make the rules for us (Congress-creatures) would have the same insurance you or I do, aligning our self interest as it should be.Private employers would likely drop the big expense of their company plans. HOWEVER if there was any sort of hole in service then they would be free to offer additional coverage for that. It would be something Unions (who Sanders want's to support) could bargain for,

How is Product Management different in healthcare?
A lot of the Product Management principles can be applied across industries. As far as healthcare specific use cases, it varies depending on which sector of healthcare. For example:If your product is on the Payer side you’ll be looking at different business needs compared to the Prescriber side.If you are working on the Pharmaceuticals side, depending if you’re in the manufacturing side, analytics side, or distribution side, your product management strategy will differ. Is your product tied to generics? OTCs? Branded Rx within patent windows? If you are working on the Medicare / Medicaid space you now have to consider other variables that may not exist on the other sides, especially tied to your potential revenue stream. If your product is in the EMR / EHR space, your roadmap will look different as you’ll have to consider all the different integrations. If your product is on the PMP reporting side, you’d have to be closely aligned with regulation changes and compliance. At the end of the day it all depends on the space / vertical where your product resides and the corresponding healthcare sector.
