Question Hiding Ramadan .

Ramadan; Is it going to be gunah?

Salam I do not know the meaning of gunah Maybe it is jannah or heaven or sin ? Based on the Qur'an and hadith we Muslims are not allowed to lie so you could not hide it to your family You must explain it honestly to your parents You will have sin if you are lying.Honesty in Islam is very important Lying is allowed based on hadith in the strategic of war,in protecting innocent person to be killed and in maintaining good relationship between husband and wife

The Hiding Place Questions? Plz Help.?

Betsie was.
Because while in the camp she was looking for ways to bring people to Christ while, Corrie was just trying to survive. :)

At the end of the book Corrie fufilled Betsie's vision of a place for refugees to get back in touch and forgive those who hurt them.
And she met an S.S. officer who was in the bathroom in the Extermination Camp. :)

And i have a question about #7: What were the things Corrie discerned about the man from Ermelo? And if she had acted on the observations, perphaps the trap would not have been set? What were these observations?

Ramadan: Does smoking break fast?

Zero evidence in this thread, apart from the Shia post, which was informative, even if non-determinative for Sunnis.Despite what has been said here and elsewhere, there is a disagreement among the scholars as to whether inhaling smoke is (1) haram or not; (2) breaks the fast or not. Same question applies to vapour for those of us who vape - the question of whether inhaling vapor breaks the fast is also subject to disagreement.

Ramadan: Muslims, is it haram to hide your emotions?

No I don't think it is haram....
A smile has many benefits. It makes you feel better. Keeps people guessing, conceals pain, makes you stronger...

Strength is when you have so much to cry for but you prefer to smile instead... :)

The only thing is that being known as a strong person, no one asks if you are ok. They just assume you are. Ironically you find strength in that thought...

Are there any Muslims who don't fast on Ramadan?

Unfortunately there are many who don't fast. Also there are many misconceptions. Most non muslims think that Islam is so strict that a person has to fast no matter what. There are many conditions under which a muslim is allowed to not keep fast. Few of them include :- 1. If person has disease which can get severe because of fast.2. If person is too old to fast.3. If person is in travel and would find it difficult to fast.4. If a lady is pregnant or has a child which needs breast feeding.5. Also it is not mandatory for a small child. After a certain age only its mandatory. As you can see from above conditions most of the genuine hard conditions are taken off. So Islam does not mean to torture you. It takes care of unreasonable situations. Now, coming to the second part of your question. Muslims eat at least two meals. One early morning(Sehr) before sunrise and one straight after sunset(Iftaar). Sehr is in fact is encouraged and it is explicitly asked by Prophet that people should do Sehr and not avoid it. In most other religions concept of eating early morning is not there. Therefore, it becomes harder to fast.  As far as eating a lot is concerned, the human stomach has some capacity and certainly no one can stuff more then that. Actually, it is not that hard to fast. Once you have fasted for the first few days, the rest becomes easy. In fact even kids as young as in 9th standards keep full fast without any problem. Ramadaan does not mean a muslim should leave all work and just lie like an animal. And certainly it is no torture. The pleasure you get when you put the first morsel of food in your stomach at Iftaar and first sip of water is unparalleled. It will make you realise how important water is, and how important any food which you do not even think of eating normally is. You will start feeling for those who have no food to eat. Saying this is different, but ones you experience it you would understand better. Also it will make you more thankful to God, that he made you lucky enough to enjoy these things without any contribution of yours.

[Ramadan] The Dajjal is hiding, locked away on an island? What island - where?

No one knows the specific location of where the Dajjal is.

However, most people believe he will originate from the Bermuda Triangle. (Watch the youtube video about the American Dollar note, and the dajjal).

ALLAH KNOWS BEST!

Salam alaykum~

@ Yes, but see it on youtube, I don't have the link, but you can search it up yourself & see.

& Allah knows Best - all knowledge is with Him.

Ramadan:The 12th Imam , The hidden Imam?

There is no 12th or hidden imam. His existence is a myth. The 11th "imam" Hassan Alaskari never had any children but after his death one of his followers announced that he had 5 year old son he was hiding and he started making communication between the kid imam and people until this person died and his son continued the communication with the non-existing imam. It is a long fictional story but it ends with the imam going into a tunnel to hide and never comes back and saying he will come back in later times because the lie could not be continued any longer.

Muslims: do you judge those who don't fast during Ramadan...?

The article Fez gave was interesting but still not compelling enough for me to fast. I have spoken with 3 physicians in the US and one in Morocco (a Muslim) and all forbid fasting in most cases or insulin dependent diabetes for extended periods of time. When blood glucose gets too low, the liver releases stored glucose, causing potential highs (for me, my sugar soars when this happens). Control isn't always easy to achieve, even with a controlled diet and multiple daily injections. I am NOT a diet and exercise controlled diabetic and I NEED injections and food to keep things in balance. THose who can fast and do so without complications are truly blessed. I however feel that I was blessed with diabetes- it's a lesson and struggle at the same time. Allah has made provisions for me in this life, and that includes during Ramadan. I know eating when I need to and avoiding fasting does not impair my relationship with Him.
