Is the Windows 10 upgrade free for pirated users?

“Anyone with a qualified device can upgrade to Windows 10, including those with pirated copies of Windows.” Microsoft’s spokesperson said. Besides, Microsoft’s plan to let upgrades for non-genuine copies of Windows applies to all markets and isn’t limited to a particular market. Now Windows 10 is free with a pirated edition of Windows 7 to anyone all over the world.Although pirates can upgrade to the new OS, the tech giant isn’t giving them a free pass. The company confirmed that  PCs running pirated copies of Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 would be upgraded to a non-genuine copy of Windows 10 instead of a genuine copy of the latest operating system.“We have always been committed to ensuring that customers have the best Windows experience possible. With Windows 10, although non-Genuine PCs may be able to upgrade to Windows 10, the upgrade will not change the genuine state of the license. Non-Genuine Windows is not published by Microsoft. It is not properly licensed, or supported by Microsoft or a trusted partner. If a device was considered non-genuine or mislicensed prior to the upgrade, that device will continue to be considered non-genuine or mislicensed after the upgrade. According to industry experts, use of pirated software, including Non-Genuine Windows, results in a higher risk of malware, fraud (identity theft, credit card theft, etc), public exposure of your personal information, and a higher risk for poor performance or feature malfunctions,” Microsoft said in a statement.Windows is currently installed on more devices than any other OS in the world, and the number of Windows 10 users are also increasing quickly. According to Microsoft, Windows 10's adoption is continuing at a strong pace, from 14 million devices installing the new software within the first 24 hours of its release on July 29 to more than 75 million devices already upgrading to Windows 10 at the end of August. What will happen if I don't have antivirus installed on laptop?

For me Nothing !It totally depends upon your common sense of computer system and its working. I have not installed any antivirus installed in my laptop still there is no virus and malware in my system. You should ask why?major virus are entered in your system through removable drives, Internet downloading and from third party software.Every pen-drive or removable drive inset in my system I manually see the every file’s extension and if any thing seems suspicious I immediately delete it. and i also turn off auto play off in my system.I only downloads music, software etc. things from trusted sites only with IDM so there is no chance of virus enter in my system.third from the third party software for it i also use only trusted software and prefer to download from the official sites only.By this way taking care of minor things you can prevent your laptop from virus attack.otherwise what happens?Your laptop browser flood with the lots of Adware.System hangs and speed decrease.Your files are getting corrupted.Annoying pop ups.unwanted startup software lets your system startup time increase.

What are some of the best examples of "beauty with brains"?

Raghuram RajanI thought of writing an introduction myself ,but Shobha De has done an awesome job already, so I am just quoting her ."The guy's put 'sex' back into the limp Sensex. That makes him seriously hot. So hot, in fact, he has made it to the Amul hoarding (a first for a chap in his lofty position). But nobody is calling the man a Billboard Bimbo. You know why? Because this man knows his onions. And right now, onions are playing a major role in our lives. Forget our obsession with gold. We are hoarding onions now.All hail the freshly minted 23rd RBI Guv — the very dishy Raghuram Govinda Rajan — the Messiah of Markets. At 50, Rajan is young (come on, SRK at 48 is still playing lover boy), brilliant (IIT-IIM-MIT vaghera, vaghera) and on the ball (ex-IMF chief economist). That his chiselled features are as sharp as his brain, add to his current status as the Poster Boy of Banking.Funny how quickly Rajan has been slotted as a much-panted-after sex symbol (he took over from Duvvuri Subbarao on September 4). He's the guy who's got the groove. I plead guilty, too.Recklessly and happily, I went ahead and tweeted (will this woman never learn?) about his appointment, calling him the Ranbir Kapoor of Banking (note the spelling — banking, there's an 'a' in this word, not an 'o'). Why not? Rajan's sex appeal has propelled him straight into the league of movie stars. He can easily top 'India's Most Desirable' lists.Had he not been in this tricky, ultra conservative (let's be upfront here, and call it tight ass) assignment, he'd have been instantly snapped up by smart celeb managers and signed juicy endorsement deals. Sorry, Raghu. But you are stuck. Deal with it.The media has declared Raghu the latest sex symbol in the land. He should lie back and enjoy the attention. It's not often that one gets an RBI Guv who makes hearts (not just female ones) go dhak dhak each time he strides into a room. I entirely endorse the positioning. Why should only comely ladies in the rarefied world of finance get branded and walk away with all the compliments?Source -http://articles.economictimes.in...

Is this an ungodly soul tie?

I met this guy in April 2013. As soon as I saw him, I was instantly drawn to him and it felt like "love at first sight". I had never felt that way before (I'm 24 not 12). I even told myself he was the one!

We talked and clicked instantly. We would talk to each other all the time. Then we met and sparks flew but unfortunately, he never followed through with another date because he was "busy". I then told him it was best to stop talking.

Fast forward, V-Day 2014, he sent me a heartfelt apology and asked for another shot. The entire time we didn't speak all I could think of was him! Anyway, we went on two dates. We had heavy makeout sessions but it didn't lead to sex because I declined. He stopped talking to me afterwards.

Now the problem is that a year later, I'm still not over him. I still think of him obsessively and nobody compares. I've been praying God to help me move on but each time I pray the feelings come stronger afterwards. I feel trapped. It's never happened to me before.

Is this a soul tie?

Does using the McAfee antivirus slow down the system?

in short, sure all the antivirus software will slow down your operations, not slow down the system. Just like @KK Velan said, while you open a file, the AVs sure will scan the file due to its monitor rules, and the monitor rules is part of Security Protection function. "Slow down the system" is the key point you want to know, so I share some my opinion here with you. As most AV software has a feature named like "Boot Scan", or "Scan while system startup", this is the thing which can slow down your computer startup speed and take you more time, about seconds but not too much. "Boot Scan" feature can help you to scan the system before lauching all components, and protect you away from a kind of virus which could run with system. This is the key point you want to know. So, pls know, a "Boot Scan" or "Scan while system startup" feature will slow down your startup speed and take more time (normally, it will slow down 10 ~ 30 seconds), and a "real-time scan/monitor" will slow down your daily operations, like open a file, open a webpage, and also copy/paste.
