R.d Sharma Or Arihant New Pattern

Which is the best book for JEE Mains Maths- Cengage, Arihant or RD Sharma?

Just for JEE Mains, go for RD Sharma and NCERT. Cengage is at a very high level, you can surely use it an a supplement when you are done with those two. Arihant is also a good alternative to practise objective questions.Try to enrich you concepts rather than worrying about which book you should read. Every book contains the same study material, the only difference they have is the level of their questions.Hope this will help you. Follow me for more queries. Thank you.

Is Rd Sharma objective and Arihant new pattern maths enough for getting 110 in Mains or should I add something?

It totally depneds on what is your overall target score. But i would just like to say, go for improving you concepts as much as you can, and improve your speed along with accuracy(most important thing required for high scoring).Otherwise these two books are good enough for scoring up in mains. Along with these two books, i would also suggest you to solve previous year questions. Here’s Harsh Nadar. I hope you are satisfied with the answer. All the best :)

For JEE Main, I am solving Math from Arihant series. Do I need to solve RD Sharma Objective?

Arihant is good. If you are finding RD (Objective) easy then thats a very positive thing. Keep solving arihant series books and in no time you will have a very strong hold on the subject.Wish you all the best for JEE.Stay positive.Cheers !!Follow me at www.facebook.com/vineetiitr

Which Objective Mathematics book is better between R. D. Sharma and Arihant for JEE Main in mathematics? I'm a dropper and taking JEE Main in April 2019.

Both books are good. But to strengthen your base R.D Sharma is better than any book and most of the questions comes directly from R.D Sharma. It also contains good variety of questions. So I would prefer R.D Sharma. And don't forget to upvote if my answer even a little bit useful to you.

Do I need to study R. D. Sharma’s books in the class 8?

There is no NEED for any reference books in class 8th. But if you want you can do other books also to brush up all your concepts. The study is a part of your schedule and not everything and you don’t have to do it every time. You are just in class 8th, you don’t need to worry about anything, just take the essence of life as much as you can, develop new hobbies, engage in a sport, travel around, eat as much as you can, do what you like, do naughty things that when you look back, it makes you grin. You don’t need to be a topper in class 8th, and if you want also, you don’t need R D Sharma.

Is RD Sharma (objective) only for mains or it has some advance level problems too?

according to me RD sharma is for boards only not at all for mains or adv..... i would suggest you to use Arihant series of topicwise books for JEE adv as most of the JEE adv rankers use it

Is RD Sharma enough for JEE Main ?

Nope!! I don’t think RD Sharma is good enough for JEE Main. Yeah, You can feel the difference between them after reading the question which is asked in JEE & given in RD Sharma book. Basically In this book, Questions are simple and formula based & In JEE Main, Some tricky and higher level questions are asked. So you need to study from other books which is guided by your teacher.Actually RD Sharma Book is written in CBSE point of view. However, It helps you to clarify the basic concepts. So if your Basic concept is not clear then you can take help from this Book. After that solve higher level Mathematics book which helps you for getting good marks.Best Wishes for Upcoming Exams!!!

It's my maths board exam on 21st of March. I have done NCERT around twice and a little RD Sharma and Arihant. How do you suggest I could go about it since I'm not good with maths at all?

Are Xam Ideas still sold? I recall having solved some RD Sharma and Xam Idea problems and had some questions show up on the exam that were seemingly identical. I would suggest doing more past papers!Good luck!

Is RD Sharma of Class XI & XII enough for JEE Mains & Advanced Maths Preparation?

IIT-JEE. JEE consists of two parts, JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE-Advanced is for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and Indian School of Mines Dhanbad, an institute that will be converted to IIT,while the JEE-Main exam is for admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) as well as for admission to the dual degree programme of IIEST Shibpur. Only the students selected in JEE Mains are eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced. They have different patterns as we know that JEE Main is easy as compared to JEE Advanced. Problems in JEE Main are relatively easy, require less thinking and most often are those with which we have dealt , in some or the other practice paper. All questions are single correct type, so the solving-flow can be easily maintained. However, speed is a very important factor here. Speed-Breakers are well-placed in the paper, so one needs to be careful of this.while JEE Advanced is of different level. For JEE Advanced, time yourself. But do not increase your target in terms of the number of questions. Instead, aim for better accuracy, as negative marking penalty is a bit harsh in JEE Advanced. So your strategies should be different for the two exams.R.D.Sharma is a better choice for the start of preparation of JEE Mains as they comprises a lots of questions which is formula based and also some analytical problems .At last you should do previous years papers .For JEE Advanced R.D. sharma is not much helpful.Because There are more analytical problems along with some formula based. you should have high analytical skill. For undesrstanding the concepts you should try different books .but Don’t try those which consists of much hard questions as it will demotivate you. TMH would be a better broblem book .IT consists of different problems according to different levels.Keep in mind you have to attempt the no. of questions correct rather than solving a lot otherwise it may cause a high decreament in your ranks which will affect you to get in.Best of Luck !!
