Does the M5a97 le r2.0 support this graphic card...?
sapphire radeon r9 390x 8gb. I plan to install this GPU, but I'm not sure if this recent GPU is compatible with the given motherboard. I have a 750 watt PSU, so I'm not sure if that enlightens any help.

I wouldn't put anything less than 8 GB of RAM in a PC these days, especially since the price difference is negligible. The beauty of building your own PC is that you can always upgrade later, if you build it right.
