What is the Ralph Lauren Outlet store employee dress code?
I just had an interview yesterday at the Ralph Lauren outlet. Depending on where you work and the manager, the dress code may be more lenient. At the store here, the manager straight up told me I am required to wear everything from their store. She also said that i can't wear the same thing everyday. I need to have different looks and mix it up. She said I need to wear a dress or skirt one day, khakis or jeans with a polo another day, and then have a layered look as well. You aren't allowed to wear sandals of any kind. You can wear sperry's or any type of leather or canvas shoe like converses, vans, or keds. She called me back today and told me I was hired, but I may change my mind because of the expense of buying work clothes. Oh, and I was told I get a 30% discount, but i know at most of the other stores they get a 40% so you will get something like that.
Should I stop wearing Polo Ralph lauren?
Ok I been waring Ralph Lauren for 3 years now, everything shirts, shoes, sweaters coats, socks, hats everything. And recently they opened a polo outlet and now everyone is waring polo and the actual Ralph Lauren store is closing. Do you think I should stop warring polo because I don't want to be like everyone else, one of the reason I started waring it is because I like the brand and not alot of people wore or could afford it ( not to sound uptight) and now everyone is waring it and now I would be just another guy who wares polo and not the guy that is always well dressed and has nice shirts and pants etc. I was thinking of waring lacoste now because we have a lacoste store here in charleston and that's about the only place you could buy it down here. What do you guys think. I going for a preppy look because I like to be neat and I would stand out because not alot of African American males dress like this who is my age. P.s I'm 18 and before you think I'm some uptight kid who's parents buy him everything i work 2 jobs and buy everything myself.
How much does a Ralph Lauren Polo cost at an outlet in America?
I did a lot of shopping in Ralph lauren stores when I went to Orlando So I know EXACTLY! The polos with small ponys were about 30 dollars, same for the big pony, maye 35-40 tops. Formal shirts, I'm not really sure but I'm guessing around 40 dollars. Socks were 12 bucks, I got some lol (but they were womens). I doubt you'll care, but the handbags were about 80-120
Difference between Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Vs Ralph Lauren Store?
Whenever I go to the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Outlet they have so many great deals on so many things in there, really good deals for a high end brand Polo Ralph Lauren is. Now in the Ralph Lauren stores they have the same Polo Ralph Lauren stuff but all of it's full price and much more expensive and it's the same exact quality as the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Outlet. Now obviously the Ralph Lauren Stores have the more higher end clothes of the brand like their Black and Purple label but I don't wear those. But in terms of just sticking to Polo Ralph Lauren the only difference I see the Factory Outlet stores aren't so fancy like the Ralph Lauren stores. I do love the Ralph Lauren stores, it feels like you're in a billionaires mansion. But for the clothes I just go to the factory for the deals. Is there something else I'm missing?
Why is the price of Ralph Lauren polo shirts different at the outlet store than online?
I used to work at a Ralph Lauren outlet store. Products placed in outlet stores are not from the flagship stores. They are in fact substandard products produced at a reduced rate exclusively for the outlet stores. I believe there may have been a channel 4 dispatches documentary regarding this practice. On one occasion whilst I was employed there an undercover reporter asked one of my colleagues who answered honestly and was fired afterwards.The difference in the quality of clothes between main stores and outlet stores is startling but I believe most people don’t actually notice this because all they want is a big pony on their chest. Save up for a nice slim fit blue oxford shirt with a small logo from one of the flagship stores, it will look much better - trust me.
