Ramadan Do You Feel More Hurt When A Muslim Named Person Insults You

Ramadan, what can i say to defend islam, when a person says "mohammad was a pervert"?

i was on this forum disguised as a Pakistani muslim (i am actually afghani-iranian mix), and all these hindus started saying

" mohammad was a pervert. he married a 6 year old"

do you have any advice on how i can defend islam when someone says that?

Are there any Muslims who don't fast on Ramadan?

Unfortunately there are many who don't fast. Also there are many misconceptions. Most non muslims think that Islam is so strict that a person has to fast no matter what. There are many conditions under which a muslim is allowed to not keep fast. Few of them include :- 1. If person has disease which can get severe because of fast.2. If person is too old to fast.3. If person is in travel and would find it difficult to fast.4. If a lady is pregnant or has a child which needs breast feeding.5. Also it is not mandatory for a small child. After a certain age only its mandatory. As you can see from above conditions most of the genuine hard conditions are taken off. So Islam does not mean to torture you. It takes care of unreasonable situations. Now, coming to the second part of your question. Muslims eat at least two meals. One early morning(Sehr) before sunrise and one straight after sunset(Iftaar). Sehr is in fact is encouraged and it is explicitly asked by Prophet that people should do Sehr and not avoid it. In most other religions concept of eating early morning is not there. Therefore, it becomes harder to fast.  As far as eating a lot is concerned, the human stomach has some capacity and certainly no one can stuff more then that. Actually, it is not that hard to fast. Once you have fasted for the first few days, the rest becomes easy. In fact even kids as young as in 9th standards keep full fast without any problem. Ramadaan does not mean a muslim should leave all work and just lie like an animal. And certainly it is no torture. The pleasure you get when you put the first morsel of food in your stomach at Iftaar and first sip of water is unparalleled. It will make you realise how important water is, and how important any food which you do not even think of eating normally is. You will start feeling for those who have no food to eat. Saying this is different, but ones you experience it you would understand better. Also it will make you more thankful to God, that he made you lucky enough to enjoy these things without any contribution of yours.

Ramadan Section: Can Muslims say Shalom instead of Salaam?

Why not? I sometimes say it to my Jewish classmates. It's like when they come up to me and say "Insha'Allah".

EDIT: Shalom has nothing to do with religion or faith. It's simply "Salaam" in another language. So, yes, you can say it.

The same thing goes for "Insha'Allah". It only means "God willing" in arabic. And since Jews and Muslims believe in the one and only God, there's nothing wrong with a Jew saying it.
They often say it in Israel, with no problem.

By the way, I don't think that the word "Salaam" has some voodoo-type of divinity ascribed to it. It's a word that means "Peace". Full period.

Muslim women, don't you find this insulting?

According to the Quran and Hadith, all "good Muslims" are supposed to be rewarded with 72 virgins. That's what Muhammad promised his followers... These virgins will allegedly have the following attributes:

Having wide and beautiful eyes like pearls
Hairless (except the eye brows and the head)
Voluptuous
Having "large, round breasts which are not inclined to hang".
Beautiful
White skinned
Appetizing vaginas
Non-menstruating / non-urinating/ non-defecating and childfree
Never dissatisfied
Will sing praise

Ramadan: why do muslims regard Hazrat Aisha R.A. as one of the best wives of the Messenger of Allah SAW?

Allah (swt) commanded the Prophet SAW to marry A’isha. Allah revealed several dreams to the Prophet SAW regarding A’isha. In the dreams, he saw Angel Jibreel holding a silk cloth with a picture of A’isha on it. Muhammad SAW had this dream several times.

She was the most beloved person to Prophet Muhammad SAW.

In an incident with Amr ibn al A’us, he thought the Prophet SAW loved him more than anyone else from the way he was treated. He went to the Prophet sAw and asked him, “Ya Rasul Allah, who do you love the most?” The Prophet SAW being the most truthful man immediately responded by saying, “A’isha.” Amr ibn al A’us further asked, “What about from the men?” The Prophet SAW responded, “Her father,” further keeping it connected to A’isha.
Whenever the Prophet SAW was sick, he would prefer to stay with A’isha. When he was sick one night, he couldn’t remember which wife he was supposed to stay with. So he kept asking whose night is this, and the other wives knew that he would prefer to stay with A’isha in sickness and subsequently allowed him to be with A’isha.
She was so close to the Prophet SAW that she was the only wife present with the Prophet SAW when wahy would be revealed. The Prophet SAW said, “Wahy was never revealed to me in the bed of any woman except for A’isha.”

The Ansar and Muhajirun would always bring gifts when it was Aisha’s night because they wanted to give them to him when he was the happiest. The other wives got together and were jealous of the fact that the gifts always come on Aisha’s night, so Umm Salamah went to the Prophet SAW and asked him to order the people to give gifts anytime, not just on Aisha’s night (so the other wives can get the good stuff). The Prophet SAW responded to his wife,
“O Umm Salamah, by He whose hands is my soul, verily I do not receive revelation in any of your houses except Aisha’s, so do not harm me concerning Aisha.”

She had the honor of being given Salam from Angel Jibreel. When Muhammad SAW delivered the Salaam to her, she responded by saying, “Wa Alai his-Salam”

Since we’re discussing the superiority of A’isha, what better person to claim this of A’isha than the Prophet SAW himself? The Prophet SAW said, “The Merits and Superiority of A’isha to other women is like Meat & Bread to all other food.”

Ramadan: Why are so many of you judging me?

I get 9 thumbs up for this answer yet people are still playing God and judging me and refusing to take me seriously.

Ok heres the deal, I'm not being Muslim for you, I'm doing it for me and God, and although it would be nice if I was accepted and taken seriously, I don't need your approval anymore, I'm over that, God has given me the strength to be Muslim even if nobody on earth takes me seriously.

I'm SORRY for what I did in the past and I feel shameful enough for it as it is, but this is me taking Islam seriously, and so many of you are not taking me seriously.

Of course I'm still getting a sex change, but thats between me and God and has nothing to do with you watsoever

And thank you Abdulmalik, that actually means a lot that you would accept me into Islam.
