Ramadan-is It Haram To Be Immature

Is listening to music haram in the month of Ramadan?

Not only in the month of ramazan listening to music is haram. On the other months as well!!Listening to Music is totally against the ruling of IslamFollowing are a few hadeeths regarding it.The Messenger of Allaah sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam said :"A people of my Ummah will drink wine, calling it by other than its real name. Merriment will be made for them through the playing of musical instruments and the singing of female singers. Allaah will cleave the earth under them and turn others into apes and swine."(Ibn Maajah)The Messenger of Allaah sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam said :Verily Allaah prohibited wine, gambling and al-koobah; and every intoxicant is prohibited. “sufyan said : “I asked the narrator, Ali bin Badheemah, ‘what is al-koobah?’ He answered, ‘It is the drum.’(Musnadh Ahmadh)Hope this helps :)

Ramadan: Is backstabbing haram?

Hi, Clucker!

It is merited haram.
Verses affirmation in the Qur'an:

• "O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion; indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it . And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful."
[49:12]

• "No Laghw will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech."
[56:25]

Disdain some of those bloodsuckers above, they aren't being so helpful. >_c

Hope this helps.

Is it haraam to have sex with ones husband/wife during Ramadan?

[2:187] Permitted for you is sexual intercourse with your wives during the nights of fasting. They are the keepers of your secrets, and you are the keepers of their secrets. Allah knew that you used to betray your souls, and He has redeemed you, and has pardoned you. Henceforth, you may have intercourse with them, seeking what Allah has permitted for you. You may eat and drink until the white thread of light becomes distinguishable from the dark thread of night at dawn. Then, you shall fast until sunset. Sexual intercourse is prohibited if you decide to retreat to the Masjid (during the last ten days of Ramadan). These are Allah's laws; you shall not transgress
them. Allah thus clarifies His revelations for the people, that they may attain salvation."

Doing those is forbidden during fasting. How ever after or outside fasting, you are allowed to do so ^_^

[Ramadan]: Is mocking other people's faiths haram?

Yes it is haram to mock others faith, if God wanted he could have made us all one religion but he didn't. No you shouldn't mock people's faith, you should live peacefully.

@Tim, that verse refers to a specific time and place where these people even though Muhammad brought the message of Islam to them and proved Allah was real and he was a messenger, they chose to ignore it and go about living their old (and sinful) ways.

Don't take words out of context like these stupid Islamaphobes do, I thought you was smarter then that but I guess you are scum like them too.

@User, mocking people's faith just shows that you are ignorant, down right rude, immature and you are insecure in your own belief so it's not good to. There is a verse in the Qur'an that says something like this but I cant find it =/

Are there any Muslims who don't fast on Ramadan?

Unfortunately there are many who don't fast. Also there are many misconceptions. Most non muslims think that Islam is so strict that a person has to fast no matter what. There are many conditions under which a muslim is allowed to not keep fast. Few of them include :- 1. If person has disease which can get severe because of fast.2. If person is too old to fast.3. If person is in travel and would find it difficult to fast.4. If a lady is pregnant or has a child which needs breast feeding.5. Also it is not mandatory for a small child. After a certain age only its mandatory. As you can see from above conditions most of the genuine hard conditions are taken off. So Islam does not mean to torture you. It takes care of unreasonable situations. Now, coming to the second part of your question. Muslims eat at least two meals. One early morning(Sehr) before sunrise and one straight after sunset(Iftaar). Sehr is in fact is encouraged and it is explicitly asked by Prophet that people should do Sehr and not avoid it. In most other religions concept of eating early morning is not there. Therefore, it becomes harder to fast.  As far as eating a lot is concerned, the human stomach has some capacity and certainly no one can stuff more then that. Actually, it is not that hard to fast. Once you have fasted for the first few days, the rest becomes easy. In fact even kids as young as in 9th standards keep full fast without any problem. Ramadaan does not mean a muslim should leave all work and just lie like an animal. And certainly it is no torture. The pleasure you get when you put the first morsel of food in your stomach at Iftaar and first sip of water is unparalleled. It will make you realise how important water is, and how important any food which you do not even think of eating normally is. You will start feeling for those who have no food to eat. Saying this is different, but ones you experience it you would understand better. Also it will make you more thankful to God, that he made you lucky enough to enjoy these things without any contribution of yours.

Ramadan: In Islam why are our sins and good deeds counted after puberty?

Salam In Islam our sins of bad deeds and also good deeds are counted after puberty because after grown up wee can make a difference between good deeds and bad deeds with our commonsense and hearts and we can also know halal and haram stuffs, action or sayings It is not about mature and immature We must know how to perform salah or prayer, how to make wudu, how to fast ,adultery, backbiting and gossips are haram etc.so we are expected to avoid haram actions, sayings etc

Ramadan: If it is truly haram to get a sex change then why didn't Allah take my desires away from me?

It seems to me that if Allah (swt) did not intend for me to be transsexual and it was Shaytan giving me wicked feelings then why weren't my desires to be a female removed through fasting and prayer? (I used to be a Muslim, this is my 2nd time reverting)

Since Allah knows how I need to be a female to function in society then why is it wrong?? Like I said I would rather just kill myself than live as a man...

I'm sorry if it seems that Im talking about it too much.. but the responses of Muslims on here make it hard for me to feel happy.

I mean the Qur'an doesn't speak of transsexualim does it?? It speaks of crossdressing but getting a sex change is different from being a man dressed as a woman. It speaks of body modification, "Changing Allah's creation" but why don't Muslims enforce this law when correcting birth conditions? Allah doesn't make mistakes so we shouldn't correct children born with birth conditions.

And Allah knows the good of my heart. He knows how much I love him and want to please him, so how could me getting a sex change be that bad in his eyes?? Maybe, Allah created me as a transsexual as part of his plan for me.

There is plenty of evidence that transsexualism is determined in the womb. I was born with a hormonal imbalance. I had a doctor tell me that. I reverted to Islam once before... and prayed and fasted and read much of the Qur'an because I wanted Allah to take these desires away but he didn't. So whats the sin with me??

Allah knows I mean no true harm... I would wish that my fellow Muslims would stop judging me... I even had one call me a "Dirty tranny"

Surely Allah wouldn't approve of such name calling. Only Allah (swt) can judge me.

I'm sorry if Im annoying you guys... but I just want my fellow Muslims to accept me as their sister and not shun me.

Is it OK if I kiss my girlfriend during the holy month of Ramadan?

Allah has blessed me with a beautiful lady who follows the Sunnah. And as we all know, Ramadan is in a few more days. I wanted to know if it was alright if I kissed my girlfriend during the month. I don't mean while we're fasting, I mean after we break fast. I came to ask you guys because I would feel guilty with myself if I went and did something I was unsure about. So can any fellow brother/sister of islam please help me clear this up? Thank you.

What are your favorite Ramadan deserts?

Umm excuse me can we try to stay on topic? We are not talking about the Jonas Brothers here.. Yall are acting really immature. And before you call Joe Jonas an ugly girl, you need to listen to his music and know more about him, because I can tell you don't know ANYTHING about him thank you very much.
