Ramadan: Difference between a Salafi and a Wahhabi?

They both sound like two types of Japanese sushi lol.. on a more serious note -_- I hear these terms being used a lot, and I realized I don't know even know exactly what/who they are.

Right now, I used to hold the view that both Wahhabi and Salafi sects are heretic, extremist sects of Islam. But then the other day I was watching an interview of Harun Yahya, and he said something along the lines of, "let the Sunni's, Shia's, Sufi's and Wahabi's come together..." and I was like what? Because I thought Wahhabism was seen as dangerous in mainstream Islam. But I don't have enough knowledge on either sects, I only know of what I hear from media so please feed me your knowledge :-)

Thanks (please no Shia/Sunni bashing)

Can non muslims fast on Ramadan?

Yes you can. However only one part of the procedure would apply to a non-Muslim, since the rest requires prayers, supplications and reading Quran. You would have to obstain from eating or drinking anything from sunrise till sunset. You would have to wake up before sunrise to eat, drink, and brush yor teeth (since nothing can be put into your mouth, not even tooth past, because you cant taste anything till sunset). Then you would eat again after sunset... which depends on where one would live. Now of course non-Muslims can do this any time of the year, since Ramadan is also a month where one can't wear any perfume (because it can enter your mouth), no chapstick and such near your mouth, no makeup.. etc.. no listening to Music...

Basically when Muslims fast we are not only physically hungry, but are supposed to be spiritually free from any sort of worldly pleasures. That's why while fasting there is supposed to be no physical contact between a husband and wife till after sunset....

So yes you can fast...
