I wouldn't say you are bad looking. You have a kind of serious/nerdy appeal I think I would have been interested when I was younger. Then again, it might just be the pictures you posted. If you smiled more you'd look better. :-)Of course, your question is analogous to asking "How delicious is chocolate cake? Rate it from 1 - 10". The fact is what people find attractive/hot strongly varies from person to person, much more if the judges are girls than if there are guys. In other words, 1o girls can look at the same guy and the "attractiveness rating" would be significantly spread. Among my girl friends, some things that make it for one girl are actually a deal breaker for me (excessively bushy eye brows, for example or being really tall). The fact is, some girls will find you hot, others won't find you above average, and this will most likely continue for the rest of your life. Focus on developing your personality. Make girls laugh. It will get you WAY further in life than just being hot. Be a person that people WANT to be around, then people will find you attractive.

Hypothetically, if somebody says "It's not like pretty girls want to date John anyway", are they inferring that John isn't attractive enough?
A2A.. Yes.. there is a good chance that the person (s) who is/are making this comment know that john is not capable enough to attract the pretty girls and in the end date them.. It could be just that person's opinion.. and it could be based on some bias.. one has to know john in real to find out if really john is that kind a ( read : unattractive to pretty girls ) person or not.. but if you go by the opinion of the person who's saying this.. the meaning of that statement is that .."John is not attractive enough for any pretty girl wanting to date him.."...
How come when people post "rate me" or "am I pretty" questions...?
the girls who are actually really pretty seem to get a lot of negative feedback and the ones who are not pretty AT ALL get told they are pretty and an 8/10, etc. The attractive looking girls get told stuff like "eww you look like a witch", etc. Not all the time, but just something I have noticed and it is kinda funny actually!!! :()
