How would you rate the actors in the series 'Friends' in terms of acting?

Fair question- in terms of acting, the Friends cast was amazing at portraying their respective characters. But pretty terrible beyond that.The friend with the biggest career post Friends is Jennifer Aniston. So one could argue she was the most talented of the bunch.Courtney Cox had some luck with Cougar Town. It was a huge departure from Monica. But nowhere near the success of Friends. She hasn't nailed any prominent movie roles since Scream 4. A testament to her amazing acting I’d guess.Lisa Kudrow has struggled with her own show, Web Therapy. The show comes and goes as fans cry for its return and abandon it when it does.Matt LeBlanc is so good, he had three of his own shows canceled on him. Joey lasted two quick seasons, Man with a Plan and Episodes gets canceled then renewed which means people like having him around, but not that much.Matthew Perry also had his own show for a quick second. Only to have it canceled after 13 episodes. It was called Mr. Sunshine. Not sure anyone saw it. He banged out some movies here and there but mostly those straight to DVD types. 17 Again was his biggest post Friends hit.Even David Schwimmer was given a show on AMC, Feed the Beast. And guess what, that got canceled too after 10 episodes. He's had a good run with the Madagascar movies. But that's about it. His role as the subservient Robert Kardashian in the OJ story was laughable.So the point is, networks tried giving the entire Friends cast their own shows. Repeatedly. And they repeatedly get canceled. People want to see the cast of Friends. But only in Friends. Much like the Seinfeld cast is more powerful together than separately.

My girlfriend asked me what her attractiveness rating is, and I said 7. Now she is really upset. What did I do wrong?

Here's what I have done in the past. My wife asked the same question many years ago.   I never did give her a number, which is the real purpose of this plan.  Essentially I went into full engineer mode and started musing about how to quantify such a thing. You know, with science!  My wife lost interest at step 3. 1) identify the factors of attractiveness in a female. Let's break them into: three primary factors:- physical, emotional and social. 2) each of these factors will have a weight and a score. The weight is how important each factor is to a neutral male bystander. For the sake of argument let's make it: physical: 50%, emotional: 30%, social: 20%. 3) Identify key indicators that affect each of the primary factor scores.4) come up with a function for each indicator that generates a score for that indicator. For example, most women reach their peak physical attractiveness at around age 23. So, a 23 year old should get a score of 1.0. Any other age would get deductions based on how far away she is from the optimal.   There are many factors that you can rate like this: waist/hip ratio, facial symmetry, hair length, number of close female friends, how much affection she shows, ratio of intimacy initiation, emotional stability, general health... 5) by now you should have a spreadsheet started.  Enter all of the data into the spreadsheet.  The ultimate score is a simple weighted average of each of the indicators.  Do not show her the spreadsheet. 6) normalizes the top level to a value between 1 and 10.7) if the score is less than 7, simply add a couple points as a special bonus for agreeing to be with you and put up with your ineptitude. 8) present your findings as scientific proof at how attractive she is to you. 9) it just occurred to me that it might be an even better approach to compute your own numbers first. The factors and weights are different for men: physical: 20%, material: 40% and social: 40%.   Just be damned sure that she scores a few decimals higher than you. Also, if there is a significant mismatch in her favor, you've got some work to do on yourself. * disclaimer: relationship spreadsheets are proven vaginal desiccants. Proceed at your peril.

How much do you tip a pizza delivery guy? Is there a rule of thumb?

I've been a delivery driver. Still take the occasional Deliveries. I'm now a general manager of a Papa John's restaurant. The first thing I train my driver's about tips. Don't expect any! "You can't be mad at the guy who tips you $1 if your not going to refund the guy who tips you $10" it balances out. Drivers in most pizza chains are compensatated for gas and mileage with a per mile or per delivery allowance. This amount varies per chain. Factors to considerDistanceIf your really far away then a 3+ dollar is welcomeHospitalityIs the driver pleasant, did they read your delivery comment, Close your gate, use the sidewalk etc.ProductIs the pizza hot and on time. Did the driver remember your drinks and sides and verify your order is correct. ....if it's late and or cold did the driver apologize for the lateness. I tell all my drivers. If your over 45 minutes to apologize and let the customer know if they have any quality problems with thier order its ok to call the store and ask for the manager by name. (Provide them on shift managers name) Keep in mind human nature. If your a regular and tip well, drivers will learn which place is yours and often go the extra mile. I wouldn't go by percentage for delivery drivers. A delivery with 3 large pizzas is going to carry with the same 1 bag effort as a 2 medium order. (The making effort is done by the instores) However the price difference would be huge. 2-5 dollars I feel is customary and will keep the drivers content.
