Readingworld Book Review How To Create The Perfect Wife

What happens in divine secrets of the ya ya sisterhood the book by rebecca wells?

I have gotten to the part when the girls have gotten back from atlanta. and they get in a fight with Aunt Louise. Then they are super excited to see Neci. what happen s after that? I am reading it for english class I know its a good book but i ran out of time!

What is the benefit of reading history books?

I’m not a Historian. But here is my view based on my life.I hated History in school. I mean absolutely HATED it. The same way some kdis hated mathematics. Later, after just having finished school, my girl friend who had studied fine art history, gave me a Bill Bryson’s book - A Short History of Nearly Everything. I read the book over the course of a week and was thoroughly enthralled. Could history really be that interesting?I dived into all sort of historical books and textbooks. War history, ancient civilizations, biographies on ancient figures. Note-ably I gave this review recently. Gert Busch's answer to What is the best nonfiction book you have ever read and why?So why is it important? There are so many great quotes from more knowledge people that myself that sum it up nicely; none the less here is my view:You learn about where the world we live in now came from. Why do we do certain things we take for granted. We take for granted that we live in a culture of free through (if we’re lucky). But it wasn’t always this way. Why is something like democracy good, why is it bad where did it go wrong? What is good about communism and or socialism, what is bad where did it go wrong in the past? Why did autocratic cultures only make is so far in their evolution. You start seeing that history does repeat itself albeit in the slightly different way. It would be inconceivable for a good military commander to have never learnt about past skirmishes, wars and commanders. It influences your thinking, right now. It makes you more knowledgeable - teaches you and gives you a different perspective on something you would have otherwise not seen, dismissed or jumped to a conclusion about.History is where all ideas come from and propagate into the future. The world we live in now was built on-top of a history or culture and often ideas that were not accepted then are accepted later and eventually change the world. It gives you a frame of reference.

I want to start reading books. Where should I start? I like fiction and autobiographies.

To be genuinely interested and read "greedily" like this is the last chance you would ever get is one of the most special feelings that you could experience. For that you need to narrow down your area of interest. Mine has always been fiction. Anything mysterious, that piques my interest made me addicted to reading.  Some of the best books to start with would be Harry Potter series - I am yet to meet a person hating this one. If you thought the movies are brilliant, the books are even better.Hardy Boys & Nancy Drew series - If you are still in your teens, this might interest you. The Godfather - This is a lot more serious genre, but age is not a barrier nor your experience. This book is a true championSidney sheldon collection - All thrillers, suitable for beginners (last two not an option if you are below 14) The song of ice and fire series - The books weave a true epic saga, with all the detailing and characterisation. It may be long, but given a little patience this is a truely rewarding read.Sherlock Holmes / Bourne series / James Bond series - All crime thrillers, and equally engaging in its own way. They are classics and has stood the test of time with each generation rediscovering its worth again and again. Jane Austen classics - If you are a woman, chances are that you will adore her books. Pride and prejudice, sense and sensibilities are few of my favourites which portrays the victorian times and the social framework then.      Swami and friends, Malgudi school days - R K Narayan is a genious and this is the book that proves it in all its simplicity. Clean language and an endearing lighthearted story, what more do u need?            Enjoy your reading :) Hope this was of help!

Which is the novel through which you entered the reading world?

Mrutyunjaya by Shivaji sawant. It's a Marathi novel about Karna a warrior in Mahabharata who fought on Kaurava's side. For more you can see this linkMrityunjaya, The Death ConquerorNow what's so special about this book.Mahabharata is an epic of ancient India along with Ramayana. It's about a fight for power in between kauravas and pandavas. We consider pandavas the good side and kauravas bad side. Karna was actually a son of kunti from before her marriage from Sun God. An Illegitimate child .Mrutyunjaya is semiautobiographical novel written from pov of Karna. Karna opens and takes us closer to the end of his story, interspersed with chapters by Kunti, Duryodhana (his friend), Vrishali (his wife), Shon (his younger foster brother) and a ending by the Lord, Sri Krishna himself. Before reading the Novel I always considered karna to be a spoiled fruit who couldn't figure out what's good and bad. But novel takes a different view.Although he was a high born but as nobody knew about his lineage he was raised as a low born and thus was treated same. Although he went through all the atrocities of life, he became a great warrior, a good friend to duryodhana, a loyal husband to his wife and a brother to shon. He was an apt and gentle ruler. All his life he was never supported by anyone but duryodhana. Kunti his own mother chose her pride over her son's.When we realise that not everything is all white and black there are always shades of grey it's the major change in our life. Pandavas weren't all good. Krishna himself played tricks while winning the great war.Major revelation that hit me was not every good person is always right. From their point of view they might be but there are not just two sides to every matter like it is in case of a coin. This book made me realise that we can learn so much from the books. To view Mahabharata in new light was an eye opener. We always presume that pandavas belong to good side but have we ever considered that they might have done something wrong. It made reading pleasurable. It struck me that reading can be interesting and fun. I got a new hobby the day I finished it.

What are some cool topics to write about in a book review blog?

Disclaimer: I'm not a book review blogger. I have answered the question by putting myself in the shoes of a reader. The question has two parts:How to write a book review. What additional apart from book review can be written in the book review blog.Answer to part 1:Grossly, a book is either a fictional or non-fictional.The choice of a genre in fictional category depends upon reader to reader. I somehow feel that if a reviewer includes the best part that he/she liked in the book without much revealing the story can be taken as a genuine review.A non-fictional book reader often are hungry for brain boggling stuff than emotions. So if a book is self-help or business related, a general outline with open ended question can be enough enticing. And if it's related other niche like history, science, etc then, use of technical jargons are important while giving the outline!A general outcome of a book review should be the reader gets excited about the book and wish to read it!Answer to part 2:Apart from a book review, other cool stuff that book review bloggers are already doing is to organise a contest or giving some free books or author's interview, etc. What I feel one should do is to write a series of blogs that shares your own experience while reading the book. And in case of self-help and business related you can also write down a real life application of one of the principles/technique/law given in the book.In general to sum up, if the book reviewer has actually read the book fully then, it gets reflected in the review for sure!!Desi writer,NishantMy thoughts(I personally see recommendations of my friends for reading a book or read the author on quora/blog and rarely see a book review)
