Graphically intensive games absolutely obliterate the battery, much more so than a few web pages. 3d games like Real racing 3 will be the most battery-blitzing, but games such as angry birds will still eat up the battery faster than if you were just browsing quora.This is because the phone has to calculate so many more variables. With a webpage, it renders the page once, and is done with it. However, for games there are many operations needing to be done- such as screen updates, physics calculations and complex calculations.
Looking for a new android phone?
I know that im asking alot, but i have been browsing for the last four days of my life for a new smartphone with no results. For me it is a long-term choice, so i better think before i act and ask the yahoo community for some advice. Im looking for a mid-range smartphone, that is compact (screen size around, but not greater than 4", my hands are quite small, but only hands) , well priced (prices may vary in different countries, so lets just say not pricier than the Galaxy SII Plus) and well equiped -a dual core ~1ghz cpu, at least 700mb of ram, 5mp camera, a healthy battery and a solid gpu to play big titles, like real racing 3, f&f6 and other upcoming or existing games, perhaps a mali or adreno ,2xx or 3xx, i also enjoy alot of music. I use a SD card, so im not woried about storage and 3g only will fit me just fine. HTC Desire X would be a perfect example, but i have noticed, that thare are these two types of reviews: a) every single one that starts with" i bought this phone 2 days ago..." tells, that this phone is amazing, buttery smouth and simply perfect... b) every single one that starts with" i bought it 3 months ago..."tells, that people want to sell it on ebay for 5$ or simply throw it out, that it lags,that it very fastly overheats, that it randomly shuts down/turns on/restarts/freezes, that its horribly glitched, that it has a *ucked up battery and sound e.t.c.
