Really Nauseous After Eating Sweet Things

Why do i get nauseous after eating salty food?

I've been having this feeling for a while. i went to the doctor but he didn't find anything wrong. Every time after i eat salty food, I immediately have to have something sweet to stop the nausea. I never throw up though. I just feel sick and carve for sweet food. Any idea on what can be happening?

Why does eating lots of candy make me feel nauseous?

Normally this is due to a blood sugar surge, because your body is literally drowning in glucose and it’s messing everything up and causing all your cells to panic.Eating large amounts of sugary food (or sometimes, starches that are quickly converted to sugars by chewing and eating) can overwhelm the liver and pancreas which control the sugar management for the body, so that you don’t get sick. Normally the healthy human body has a blood sugar of 80 mg per dL of blood (that is, 80 milligrams of glucose in 1 deciliter of blood — a deciliter is about 3 1/3 fluid ounces of blood.) Eating huge amounts of sugary, high glycemic index foods like candy, will make your blood sugar surge to high levels — sometimes as high as 400–500 mg/dL … and at those levels your blood turns into a sugary syrup that damages cells and feeds bacteria.Look up “high glycemic index foods” if you want to research more about how some foods affect blood sugars.

Why do I feel nauseous after eating sugar?

Do you also feel dizzy, lightheaded, weak? Does it happen immediately or is it delayed? You could be nauseous if you eat too much sugar or refined carbs bc it raises you blood sugar quickly. If the reaction is more delayed, it could be a sudden drop in your blood sugar as your body reacts to all the sugar by releasing insulin.in addition, a lot of sugar like in a sugary drink can have an effect on your GI system, causing nausea, because it can cause an osmotic effect or cause your stomach contents to empty quickly into your small intestine. This can cause nausea as your vagus nerve is stimulated. Some people can’t even handle medications that come in a sugary syrup because of the osmotic effect. Look up “osmotic effect of sugar on the GI system” and “sugar and the vagus nerve,” and “sugar and dumping syndrome.”As always, consult your doctor.

Why do I feel like throwing up after eating something sweet?

Type 2 diabetes, or high blood sugar, can result in nausea after sweets and occurs when blood sugar rises to a dangerous level. In addition to nausea after eating sweets, individuals with high blood sugar may experience a host of other frightening symptoms, including extreme thirst, weakness, confusion, cramping in the legs and even convulsions. Left untreated, Type 2 diabetes can be life-threatening.I do feel that sometimes after eating sweets, now that I am 50. What I do is drink a lot of water and then try not to eat sweets for a month.

Why do I feel sick after eating certain things? please help!?

Whenever I eat too much salty food or sweets, I feel extremely sick. the other day I ate about...15 pringles, and felt really sick for several hours. (I hadn't had anything else that day except water, which is normal for me) I almost alwayd feel sick after eating sweet stuff like cookies, candy, cake, ice cream, etc. Sugary drinks can make me feel that way as well, if I drink more than half a cup. The only one that doesn't make me feel that way is sweet tea. The other day in class after lunch, I was drinking a can of cherry pepsi, and suddenly felt extremely nauseous and a little dizzy. That lasted for about 20 or so minutes. Every few days I'll drink a soda at that same time, but I've never felt sick like that from a can of soda.
What could be the reason behind this? I'm 16 and female.
Please help! :I

Why do I feel nauseous when I consume sugar or sweet foods?

If you exercise, do you have the same symptoms? How long has it been like that?  Refined sugar is a poison, as in too many carbohydrates, if our muscle cells are full, unable to accept more glucose from the blood.  Eventually, the glucose will return to the liver where it normally gets turned into fat that goes into fat cells under the skin or is packed around internal organs (Visceral fat), which is far more dangerous. If fructose causes the same reaction, that may be more  difficult.  Fructose does not cause the same instant Insulin hit as glucose, and it is the very reactive Insulin that causes irritation of the artery walls, eventually leading to atherosclerosis .There is only one fuel for our muscles, glucose, which normally comes from carbohydrates or from stored fat.  You're alive, so you are getting glucose from some food.  If your body is telling you it doesn't like those sweets, that could be a blessing that many people would envy, but if you are feeling bad, there's something wrong.  As others suggest, seek medical help.  I don't believe drugs do more than treat symptoms, so I recommend an MD who looks to cure, not treat symptoms. It does sound like a form of  "Carbohydrate Intolerance", which symptoms vary with individuals, but definitely worth considering.  Check this out:  Carbohydrate Intolerance & Insulin Resistance Diet For Improved Health

What would cause someone to feel dizzy after eating sugar?

Eating sugar increases blood flow to the gut, and reduces levels of certain hormones and causes a small drop in blood pressure. Maybe you should check your blood-pressure before and after eating, and let your doctor know the figures.

Why do certain foods make me nauseous?

I just had healthy choice long grain rice soup with chicken. Right after I ate it I felt soooo sick and still do! Kinda dizzy and extremely nauseous. This happens to me sometimes but usually with sweet stuff, once with a carme macchiatto from starbucks and another time after a blackberry shake....and other foods but I just started keeping track. They don't really seem to fit together though! I have a couple food allergies (yeast, wheat) but I know it's not that. Why do certain foods make me so sick? Any ideas?

AFTER EATING SUGAR IN THE MORNING I FEEL SICK!?

You may be getting hypoglycemic from the simple sugars. Symptoms can include headache, feeling weak, tired, irritable, moody, nauseous. If the symptoms fit, cut out the refined carbohydrates and try to consume proteins and healthy fats with limited breads, cereals, etc.

Hope this helps!
