I'm really really scared for high school tomorrow!!!!?
Ok so I just turned 14 and im going to be a freshman. I start school tomorrow. I'm reaaaaallllyyy super nervous and scared. I am going to a high school thats huge. Its like the size of disney probably! Im freaking out. I just moved to a new house and i have a new bus stop and i dont know anyone thats gonna be there. I dont know where to sit or anything. I only have a few friends that are going to my school cause most are going to the other high school. I'm really scared that im not going to be able to find my classes or my locker or anything. What if i dont know aybody in my classes or at lunch? I also have gym for 18 weeks that im nervous about. What do they make you do? Im so scared right now im literally shaking and crying. I cant calm down. I have bad anxiety. Please help me....
I'm scared for Highschool?!?
Aww well take it from a soon to be senior in high school that high school is the scariest, stressful biggest thing of your life but it the funnest, most amazing experience that will pretty much begin the rest of your life! I am not going to lie, i hated the first day, heck the first month of my ninth grade year but as people started to accept me into their friend groups and people began to talk to be and be-friend me I realized that I have four more years ahead of me so why not make it the best I can! Trust me it will be difficult at first but you from what I understand will most likely easliy make friends and if not, give it time. All i have to say about harder subjects is make sure you ask questions if you do not understand, pay attention, get a tutor if you need, study you booty off and put 100% into everything you do! You can't afford to fail any class in highschool. DO YOUR BEST! My years after ninth grade have been wonderful and I have tons of friends now who I have grown to love so I hope that happens to you as well. Always stand up for yourself and work hard and you will do just fine and it will all be worth it the day you finally graduate :) you will look back at this question and laugh because you realized there is no worries :) so good luck freshie!
I'm scared for highschool?
I start highschool in 2 weeks & I'm scared that for being a freshman i'll get bullied. i haven't been bullied in the past. I had a lot of friends at my old school basically the whole class but that was middle school. I'm also very shy. please help. I don't know how to calm myself down or what to expect. I shadowed at the school that I'm going too, & they were all really nice to me except for this girl who looked like she was maybe a junior or senior and looked at me and started laughing & said something to the people who she was sitting by, & I'm scared since Im a freshman, that it'll happen everyday there. please help me. what can i do?

High school is really no big deal! When you arrive, just follow the crowd to get into the school. If you get there a little early, try to scope out where your classes are. I you get lost or you're by yourself, just ask a teacher where to go, I'm sure they'd help you out. All your friends from middle school should be at the same high school, so at least one of them should be in your lunch. Just look for someone you know! To get home, just get on the same bus you took to the school unless your parents are picking you up. You shouldn't feel like you have to talk to people, but you shouldn't feel like you have to be quiet either. Just do what you feel comfortable doing, and within a week you'll have already made new friends! Just remember, there are tons of other people coming to high school going through the same thing, it's normal! And it's no different than when you went from elementary school to middle school! Remember to stay positive and just take it easy. Don't stress yourself out about it, it's really no big deal at all. You'll get used to it, and when you do, you'll realize there was no reason to be worried! Good luck and stay positive!! :)
I'm going into high school & I'm really scared? I really need advice, please help!?
aw, thats really a lot.(and this is to others as well who commented saying they were feeling the same way) im going to be a junior this year, and when i started my freshman year i had just moved away so i started highschool knowing absolutely nobody! and im really quiet so i dont make friends super fast, the first few days were soo hard, but they got bettter! highschool is soo much differennt than middle school, but i promise its not as horrible as you think. when i was a freshman nobody ever thought i was one, when they would call for freshman orientations during classes i had with juniors and seniors nobody ever believed i was actually one, and its all about the way you act, if you act like zoo animals it is obvious you are a freshman, ive been very mature for my age, so thats why i was never thought to be a freshman, also the way you carry yourself if you act scared and timid, then people will take advantage of that! but dont act like you own the school either because upper classman will get annoyed that you think you run the place. im alot like you are, schools my first priority and guys are my last. but have fun as well, dont miss out on the friday night football games and homecoming. get involved! its a way to make friends, and then when you look back at your highschool years you wont wish it was different! but always keep your school first! im sure you will be fine, and remember you are not the only one going in scared, the majority of freshman are nervous! oh&&always stay true to who you are! and dont change for anybody!
Is high school really as scary as movies make it look?
I don’t know what movie you watched but in reality high school life is far from what being always portrayed in movie. High school movies always get dramatized or exaggerated in the story to attract or impress the audiences.These are common things you will find in high school movies in any country :Male protagonist is always handsome or female protagonist is always pretty or beautiful girl.Students in high school can wear very casual outfit. If the students wear uniforms, they will not wear them properly. Girls are allowed to wear revealing clothes like mini skirt.18 year old boys or girls look like 20 or 25 year adult men or women.There are always popular student who dominate the whole school. They can decide what to to do to other students and it seems that they are the rulers in the school.Girls are crazy about bad boys in the school.Teachers almost don’t exists in schoolWhen the bell rings, all students suddenly leave class in no time.Students can make perfect speech as if they know all things about what they say.All students do is making party or having fun.Students talk to teachers like they talk to their friends.Realities in high school :There are very few handsome boys or pretty girls. Most of them have average looks.If your school orders students to wear uniform, all will dress properly and eventually all students look like snob. No girl in any high school would come school wearing revealing clothes.Students don’t look like adult. They look like teenagers and most of them still have childish looks.There are no popular students, some students may be popular but will never reach the same level of popularity like in high school movie. Most students don’t care about that.Girls despise bad boys.Teachers are everywhere, they are the rulers of school and not students.When the bell rings as sign school is over, students take time to clean up their desk before leaving class.Almost no student dares to make speech, if students are instructed to make speech they will be nervous as hell and they will be almost speechless.Students don’t do party or have fun, they study and look stressed.Students will talk to teachers very politely and will not talk in the same way like when they talk to their friends.High school in reality actually looks more boring and dull and not as fun as you always watch in movie.
Were you scared going into high school? What is high school like?
Oh yeah, I was nervous. I was convinced that high school was going to have the mean popular guys like in Highschool musicial.High school was an interesting phrase in life for me but also a lonely part. I met all I had an only one friend who I’d see during lunch breaks and I steered away from the popular crowd. The perk is I got a lot of disability support for my classes which allowed me to have more time on tests and sit in a quiet room. The other perk is I never got bullied from the others because there was a politeness culture involved. The teachers were a mixed bag. Sometimes I daydream in my least favorite classes looking at the clock, hoping the class will end because I had a hard understanding the vocabulary that were said. My learning disorder made learning new things difficult.
Is high school scary?
I understand how you feel ! I'm going to be a sophomore this year, but at least when I was a freshman I had friends that I'd already knew. Don't worry so much about the social side of high school. Make sure you pay attention to the things your teachers say, because you don't want to get behind the first day. Don't be afraid to say hi to people. For some people that's super hard (including me), but you'll never meet new people by worrying that you won't. Really, you'll just have to feel your way through. But just remember, alot of the kids there are probably going through the same exact thing you are ! Just relax, and remember that this is just the beginning of your high school career ! It also will help you to try out for a sport that you like, or join a club that really interests you. You'll likely meet older students who will be able to introduce you to other freshman.
I’m scared of life after high school. Why?
You are lost.You have no direction of where you want to go in life. You have no clue of what your passions are and what is going to happen after high school.Here's what you have to do. You answer these two questions truthfully.What do you love to do with your free time? What makes time fly by more than anything you do in life?Now what are you good at? What have your friends naturally told you that you are good at?What you do in your life should lie between the answers to those two questions.What happens after high school whether it's college or military or whatever you're studying should be what you are good at and what you love to do.If you are scared of being alone because everyone will go off in different directions and you're growing up,Know that everyone will always leave your life.
