Really Weird Feeling Before I Fall Asleep

I don't get tired anymore, weird feeling before sleep?

Jenna, there are lots of energy out here, that few truly understand. whether it originates outside us, as in electromagnetic waves, or concentrated religious energies , spiritual energies , or other directed at us, or you could even be in the path of some EMF's , so check out your community for high wires, even cell phone towers, or anything of the sort.
The way you describe this, someone in mental health will likely diagnose bi polar or something similar.
What I think you need to do is check out your neighborhood, find out what energy is going on there.
Find out what is going on in yyour own home, if anything, the neighbors, etc.
Think about when theis started, how it started was it sudden or gradual.
it could be a stress , cortisol response, and your hormones are out of balance.
Do you have someone into sending energy, or manipulating energy, religious types, occultists, wiccans, etc, in your area, most areas do.
Do you know someone who 'sends' energy to others...
I would make every effort to go here to get evaluated, becasue they should consider more things than some do, and they have brain function scans called SPECT scans that can tell you what exactly is going on with your brain.
amenclinics.com
You need some hormone tests done as well.
Dr . Amen says that after doing over 80,000 SPECT scans he believes that bi polar is caused by unhealed brain injuries, have you had a brain injury? Were you dropped as a baby? concussion?
He says he is successfully treating this, so go there to get evaluated.

Sometimes before I fall asleep I have a weird feeling that my mind is imagining a space so vast and complicated that I can't comprehend it. What is this feeling?

There are probably psychological, neurological and other science-based ways of answering your question. However, I’m going to take a metaphysical and spiritual approach and hope I don’t offend any religious or atheistic beliefs you may have. I suspect the following may get the derision or scorn of those of a more empirical or religious leaning.Anyway, I had very similar experiences to this when I was a child around the age of 5 years and again in meditation later in my 20s.The childhood time was the precursor to what is known as OBEs - Out of the body experiences or Astral Travel. Then in my 20s, I experienced the vastness of ‘inner space’, which may read as similar to the childhood scenario, but was very different. To reassure you, that ‘weird feeling’ isn’t harmful - in fact, there isn’t anything within you that can hurt you unless you fear it and consequently believe it will.I learnt through meditation to ‘go into’ anything such as you describe. Allow yourself to feel and explore it knowing that you are safe and protected at all times. It a way of discovering your innate potentials, deeper knowledge - hidden gifts, if you like. There are plenty of books and probably nowadays online sources of information about both of the above topics.

Weird feeling when about to fall asleep?

I wish you would have described it in more detail, but I doubt it is anything to worry about.

I'm thinking it might be what Ashley said....

Or just nerves (worry/anxiety)... nerves do strange/different things to your body as you get older... like someone else said, as you begin to relax & the daily chaos isn't around, sometimes your body just suddenly realizes those strange feelings.

Could be something you ate... I know my sister & me both, if we've eaten a large meal shortly before falling asleep, especially if we're not worn out too much to forget, we'll have really bad nightmares then & almost only then.

Maybe it could be just one of those things... someone else close to you (maybe not physically but emotionally) is experiencing something lately... family or friends. I believe in that kind of stuff. Check it out... ask around. You might be surprised. It happens all the time to some people. If that is the case, I'd love to hear about it.

Weird scary feeling before i fall asleep, i can't sleep?

Is it normal to hear voices before falling asleep?

Hi, thanks for the A2A. I’ve answered this question before so I’ll post the reply I gave the person who asked as well as a link to the original question. To sum it up though, it’s VERY normal, and it’s part of the sleep process, as you drift off to sleep, your brain activity gets irregular and you have something similar to auditory and visual hallucinations. Like me, you’re just very aware of yourself haha, don’t worry about it, you can actually enjoy it. Here’s what I posted:It’s absolutely nothing to be worried about. You do NOT have schizophrenia, and you don’t necessarily have insomnia either. This is just a phenomenon called “hypnagogia”. It happens to me most nights too, and I actually quite enjoy it.As you fall asleep, your neurons (brain cells) start firing at different rates, changing the frequency or brainwave. This doesn’t happen uniformly across the entire brain, so the brain activity makes your thoughts, both verbal and visual (dream-like imagery) get all muddled up. This is the same way you have those weird dreams that don’t seem to make any sense.Hypnagogic images and auditory hallucinations are common, and I find it happening if I’m especially aware of my thoughts when I’m drifting off to sleep. With practice, you can observe it and remember quite a bit of it the next day. I’ve had some incredibly creative ideas come up on occasion in that state!I hope this helps. I’d love to hear more about your experience with these sounds and images you notice. And anyone else who’s reading too. This is one of my top interests in sleep processes, which is what I study! :DIf you’re having trouble sleeping, check out The Sleep District for some stuff on how to fix it without much effort. Those are the things that worked for me and I had years of insomnia! Here’s the link to the original question: https://www.quora.com/Why-do-I-hear-voices-in-my-head-as-I-fall-asleep/answer/Joi-Bellis

Why do I feel like I'm passing out just before I fall asleep?

It could be anxiety or panic attacks.. happens to many people, more than you think.. This usually comes with the sensation of numbness on your toes and fingersHowever, if you think that it has nothing to do with anxiety then please check a doctor!!But here’s what you can do…breathe slowly… VERY slowly… take a long and slow breath in and same out..Count to 10 as many times as possibleTry your best to stay calmKeep a glass of water and a strong cologne (perfume) next to you.. just in caseBest of luck.. but as i said… GO TO A DOCTOR

Why do I laugh right before falling asleep?

Well I presume this reflects your happyness at a subconcious level. Psychology has a great deal dedicated particularily to this subject matter and how one can change hos state of mind by convincing himself being immensely håppy, for instance, and simultaneously starts smiling laughing or even crying out of jøy. This methode really does work. You see, Freud and Ericson emphasize the power of the subconcious mind and that it reflects our current state of mind(whether one is happy, positive thinking, depressed, etc.)

So you should be probably very happy or feel extremely comfortable or feel safe -only positive feelings. You should really think about what makes you feel like that the reason abd youll see cant explain it because it is generated by your subconcious mind ( it is contemplated by feelings that have been accumulating there since you were born). So this recalls to mind you are very happy

Why do guys fall asleep (or feel tired or light-headed) after ejaculation?

I will give you your serious & correct answer.

when the guy comes - he discharges some electrical energy from his nervous system. this weakens him

when he comes - his brain releases much SEROTONIN into his blood. And serotonin is a calming, sleep - inducing neurotransmitter. releasing it makes a man sleepy.

when a guy comes - he LOSES quite a bit of NOREPINEPHRINE (aka adrenaline) and he also loses stores of ACETYLCHOLINE.
these 2 neurotransmitters, are stimulating and alerting chemicals in the brain to keep the man alert & awake. So if he loses some of these stores. he naturally will feel fatigued.

If my answer was helpful - kindly give me a good rating.

Anxiety attacks before falling asleep?

I know exactly what you are going through. I always knew I had anxiety, but one night when I went to bed, I started feeling weird. My heart was beating erratically and I was shaking and weak. My husband had to carry me to the car. I had nausea and just felt like I was spinning. I thought it was a heart attack. I was told by the ER doctor that I was having a full blown panic attack. He said most times at night is when you will have them. Even though you are ready to sleep, your mind is still going. I was started on Paxil 4 days prior and I think the Paxil brought it to a head. I was switched to Zoloft and it worked wonders. It really helped a ton. The things that used to bother me, don't anymore. I was on it for 2-1/2 years and then weaned myself off of it. I have been fine ever since. Mine started about 4 months before my wedding. I hope this helps. Try taking a hot bath before bed. I don't know if you meditate, but sometime doing that right before bed can help too. Good luck.
