Received An E-mail From Yahoo Customer Care It Says Final Warning Nearing My Limit Is It Genuine

I got a mail in my Yahoo account, saying your account has exceeded the storage limit, click to verify, is it scam?

I am not a Yahoo user, but I assume you’re referring to this:Yahoo cuts 'unlimited' email storage to 1 terabyte (1000GB)That’s an awful lot of storage unless your emails are heavy with photo/spreadsheet/document attachments. Apparently, as part of this change, the “storage meter” (telling you how much you were currently using) disappeared from Yahoo accounts. So here’s how to determine if you’re REALLY near/over your limit:Identify the percentage of Yahoo storage you’re usingYou are wise to be skeptical of emails (and follow your hunches), but since Yahoo’s business is based (partly) on providing online email services, it is much more likely that they would use legitimate email messages to communicate with their customers.Try the test above; if you are indeed near your limit, do what I do and spend 30 minutes or so dumping all the junk you’ve been accumulating without realizing it (if you dump something accidentally, Gmail lets you retrieve it for a period of time . . . don’t know about Yahoo). When I do that, Gmail flashes a message that says, “Why delete when you have so much storage?” - which I’ve always thought was a little strange . . .

Recieved an email stating that I have about reached my 2GB data plan..What do I do?

Dear Yahoo Mail User,

This is a courtesy notice that you are nearing your 2GB data plan limit. You would be blocked from sending and receiving emails.if not confirmed withing 24hrs of receiving this automated mail
You are advised to Click Here and re-login to effect the change

Important: In general, domestic data usage will be reflected within 24 hours.

Property Manager won't give me my security deposit back.?

I paid 2000 for a security deposit. When I moved out, I did a walkthrough of my apartment and everything was beautiful. Property manager told me he'd mail me my security deposit via check.

When check didn't arrive I periodically checked in, and he told me if it's lost in the mail he'd mail me a new one.

Fast forward 1.5 years, I still haven't received my check. He told me it's my fault the check was lost and won't issue me a new one.

I lost my lease agreement, so there's no proof that I ever deposited 2000 security deposit. And I spoke to him over the phone and in person, so there's no proof of our conversation.

Could someone please help me get my security deposit back!?

Given the limit as h approaches infinity of... how can I prove f(x) is a constant?

Fix any particular value of x. Then notice that since:

      f(x+h) + f(x-h) - 2f(x) → 0

that we can rearrange this to say:

      | f(x+h) + f(x-h) - 2 f(x) | → 0

Because f(x) is even and continuous, you may assume f(x+h) and f(x-h) are both greater than f(x) [or else look at -f(x) ] so that this is at most:

      | f(x+h) - f(x) | + | f(x-h) - f(x) | → 0

Update: To the buffon below, I am assuming that the two quantities are positive. That's what justifies this step. Learn to read math. Nowhere did I say anything about the triangle inequality.

In particular that means:

      | f(x+h) - f(x) | → 0
      | f(x-h) - f(x) | → 0

Plug in x=0 to get:

      | f(h) - f(0) | → 0
      | f(-h) - f(0) | → 0

This means that:

      f(h) → f(0)
      f(-h) → f(0)

So f(x) goes to f(0) as a horizontal asymptote in both directions. (It would suffice to show in one direction, since the function is even, but we can carry out both computations at once.)

This tells us that, in particular, limits of f(x) exist. So for ANY value of x, we can do a nice trick:

      f(x+h) + f(x-h) - 2f(x) → 0
      f(x+h) + f(x-h) → 2f(x)
      f(x+h) + f(h-x) → 2f(x)

Because the limits exist, and h→∞, we can just drop the x terms on the left hand side completely, meaning:

      2f(h) → 2f(x)
      f(h) → f(x)

But f(h) → f(0), and limits must be unique. So f(x)=f(0).

That means f(x) is constant.

Second response to the inane pedant below:

Look, stupid, if they are not positive, just look at -f(x), prove that this is constant, and then what constant do you think f(x) will be?

Third and final response: There is no flaw, no back-and-forth, no such thing in my explanation. Stop sending me harassing emails, you pathetic little person. You plug in zero, then apply the properties of the function. I apply the properties, then plug in zero. The two proofs are virtually indistinguishable. Get a grip.

Is Berkheimer tax administrator a scam?

I just received a letter today from Berkheimer stating that I failed to file 2012 earned income tax. This is only my third time filing form income tax and the first time I ever got a letter like this. The first two times I filed through H&R block in person and had no problems, this year I still filed with H&R block but online. I have no idea if this is a scam or not, but it is asking for my information as well as a late fee among others. Even more suspicious is that my dad got the same letter but he is disabled and is on SSI so he doesn't file for income tax. Any help would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

Why are cars in England slower than cars in the United States?

It is not just England, but Europe in general, despite their sophisticated highways like autobahn and hypercars factories. Your observation could be true to certain extent. Why?Most Americans I met often uttered something that many other auto enthusiast rarely pay attention to: merging into highway. Like their tendency to ignore other people, Americans seemed either feel extremely disturbed if someone slowed them down during merging, or if they fail to merge at the right speeds. So acceleration figures like 0 to 60 mph is very important to even the non-car American folks. In addition, American cars are traditionally heavy, because of their over the top safety standards. Even after their cars get lighter, Americans simply can’t let go about their “small block” 5.7 litre V8s. With their ample torque, American cars will generally feel much faster for people who only drive on normal roads. In Europe meanwhile, streets are narrow, and fuel are much more expensive. They prefer small cars, superminis like MINI, Fiat 500, Renault Twingo, or even Smart for two. A Belgian friend who owned 1.2 litre Ford Fiesta said that anything bigger than 1.5 litre is excess. Mind you, Honda jazz (fit) are available with 1.1 and 1.2 litre engines in Europe, but even in developing countries like Indonesia, only the 1.5 litre engine are sold.Europe also have much better public transport systems than US. Heck, even some Indonesians cities are better than US. Therefore, the needs for big car that can cruise comfortably on the highway to everyday commute are much less apparent in Europe. However, if the Europeans want to just brush their egos, cars like Porsche 918 Spyder, Ferrari 812 Superfast, Lamborghini Egoista, Buggati Chiron, McLaren P1, Koenigsegg Agera RS, Gumpert Apollo Arrow, Zenvo TS1, and so on. The list is endless. Each of those cars are faster than C6 Corvette ZR1 heavily featured in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Last Stand (2013) film. Some European highways even have higher speed limits than US ones, despite the existence of corners and bends that could be unnerving for most Americans used to their mostly straight highways.

Is there a better option for mass mailing activity other than MailChimp?

When you say mass email, then there must be some number, which you might be targeting to send email campaigns.Recently, I did a comparison of SAAS email providers and self hosted solutions. Under first comparison, I found MailerLite as a great Mailchimp alternative, which can be used for sending bulk emails easily. MailerLite also has convenient drag and drop email editor. And finally, it is almost 12 times cheaper than Mailchimp. You can check my complete review from here: 12x Cheaper Mailchimp Alternatives for Email MarketingOther mass email campaign I organised last year, was using Amazon SES gateway to send a million emails at $100s only. I used Sendy with Amazon SES, to send this campaign. You can check complete experience, over here: Sending 1 Million Marketing Emails per Day at $100 with Amazon SES.
