How do I restore my accidentally deleted contacts from an Android phone?

Basically, when you use a android phone, you must be signed in to the phone using one of your google account. Google helps you backup and restore your contacts very easily just in few steps. Before, you might want to try restoring, I would suggest you to login to your gmail account on a PC and go to the "Contacts" Menu as shown in the figure below. You should find all your contacts in this window. Now go to your phone, follow the steps:1. Go to settings.2. Go to Accounts.3. Select Google.4. You should be able to see all your google accounts here. 5. Make sure you have the same account that holds your contacts is configured here. (Otherwise add it using "Add Account" option)6. Now you can synch all or any of your desired applications as below.7. Make sure you have the Contacts Sync button on as seen in the above pic.8. Now, press the 3 dots in the top of the above screen, and select Sync Now.9. You should be able to see all your missed contacts, are getting synched from your gmail account. Now, what if you do not have your contacts in your gmail account? If you have them in form of soft copy (any file) you can import it in to your gmail contacts as CSV file. and then sync them up easily to your mail. So, I recommend all of you to enable auto sync in your android device with your google account and make sure the contacts are synched by checking in the gmail contacts. Beacuse the contacts are sometimes invaluable to us. Let me know, if you want any more help in this.

My phone was stolen. How can I recover the pictures and notes on it?

As you would imagine, you cannot really recover data from your lost or stolen Android phone once it has gone. You can only use the data cached in the cloud by Google, which can include contacts, wallpapers, calendar entries and some account information. It does not automatically back up images, games, movies and other data so you should configure backups right away.Enable sync and backups in Android1. Navigate to Settings, Accounts, then Google.2. Select the account you want to back up.3. Select Gmail, Contacts and Calendar.4. Navigate to Settings and then Backup and reset.5. Select Back up my data.If you want to backup images, videos, music and other data you can set up sync to Google Drive. You have 15GB of space by default and can buy more if you wish.1. Download and install the Google Drive app if it isn’t already on your phone.2. Open Google Drive on your handset and select the three menu lines in the top left.3. Scroll down to Settings and select it.4. Choose how, what, where and when your phone backs up to Google Drive.Google Drive can either automatically back up your files to the cloud or you can do it manually. I tend to allow it to do it automatically but only when connected to Wi-Fi. That way I get all the benefits of auto syncing without burning through my data allowance. There are also apps that can automatically back up your phone to the cloud through Drobox or other cloud storage if you don’t want to use Google Drive. Just remember to set it up now. You can’t recover data from a lost or stolen Android phone once it’s gone unless you have backed it up!

Why do I keep getting SIGN-IN FAILED. SERVER PW HAS CHANGED. ENTER NEW PW on my cell phone?

I had the same issue since my Samsung Galaxy S3 did a software upgrade about a week ago. Here's what finally worked for me after deleting stored passwords, trying to put the password in under incoming mail settings, and all the other nonsense that people said to try. Go on the computer and change your Yahoo password (just do something easy like a capital letter). Then go to Playstore and uninstall all Yahoo apps (mail, messenger, plug-in). Do a full shut down on your phone, not a restart, for a few minutes. Turn your phone on and when it is done rebooting, go back to the playstore and reinstall your Yahoo apps (all 3). Then go into your mail settings and go to the incoming mail settings and put in your new password (on your phone, not the computer). Good luck! This worked for me

WINSPOOL.DRV is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error?

Hey guys, I am not a very good computer person so I hope this may be an easy solve, but google searches haven't been too promising.

Anyway, yesterday I was getting ready to play WoW and I had a problem with the launcher. I unchecked read-only for a folder that a customer rep suggested and it all worked fine. This morning, I turned on the computer and it ran a disk check on start-up. After that finished, I logged in and it went to the desktop as normal, but when I started to open programs, I kept getting this error message.

C:\Windows\system32\WINSPOOL.DRV is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.

I believe this is for any exe file, because some things still work, but this is just from what I have read online. I have also learned that this probably, or definitely, means the winspool.drv file is corrupt. If anybody can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Its starting to get really frustrating having a computer that won't do anything.
