Will these laptops run the sims 3?
I'm looking to buy a new laptop. I enjoy playing the sims 3 and have a few expansion packs - however the expansions aren't too important and I can live without. I just want to know if the laptop I'm gonna buy will at least run the base game on medium settings, without too much lag. My current laptop is major laggy. I went into pc world and was told I would need an i5 processor - as long as the laptop had this it would run the game fine but she then went to say there cheapest was around £600. So i'm weary she was just trying to make an expensive sale. The laptops I have found that I think may be okay are the Advent Torino x700 and a Lenovo G500. I don't know as much about computing and specs as I'd like to so I just wanna check. If these aren't so good can anyone make a recommendation? I'm looking to spend around £400-500. Thanks.
Can a brand new Dell Inspiron 15 laptop play Sims 3?
I am also buying a Dell Inspiron 15 and Sims 3 and I've been searching around for the same answer. I've been finding many positives, but only one I've found is someone who actually runs sims on the inspiron 15. im not sure if im allowed to put that in but i will. Riot says, "The answer is YES! I just bought myself the same laptop- and before purchasing the Sims 3 I looked it up on Canyourunit.com. It will say that you don't have the required processor but they are (thankfully) mistaken. With our Core 2 Duo processor, we meet that requirement, as well as all the others. Yes, the video card is just fine. I have not noticed any lags or problems graphics-wise. The bottom line is that it runs, and runs beautifully. Enjoy!" so it seems like he has either the $499 one or the next one up (with the duo processor), not the cheaper $349 one. I'm not sure if that would make much of a difference. I'm still deciding between the $349 and the $499 and im thinking maybe the $499 just in case. good luck choosing! hope it works (for both of us :) ).

A child is late for school sims 4?
My child sim was eating breakfast and he grabbed his bowl and put it on the table and too like 2 sim hours to sit down, so he was late for school... on his sim profile thingy, there as flashing red bag on it.. i hovered my mouse over it and it said late for school... i click the red flashing bag, but i couldnt send him to school, so i ended up trying till 2:00 in sim hours, and school end at 3:00 sim hours... how do i send a sim to school when hes late??
Turn off anti aliasing for assassins creed 3?
I am playing ac3 on my laptop which can handle good games like sims 3, dishonored and etc. But ac3 keeps lagging cuz I use intel and not Nvidia. I heard theres a way to turn off anti-aliasing...so how do i do it only for ac3...and if possible all setting to lowest and not normal.

The answer stream is correct to the best of my understanding. Mixing memory modules of different sizes and capacities is generally a bad idea. The memory controller would have to default to the speed of the lesser module and if its a dual channel setup, it may not work at all - BSOD.You would be better served, IMHO by the matched pair. It even sounds like something better to do instead of the option of an unmatched pair.However, ( I dont know if you need both slots populated for your mac to work) you could plan ahead and run the one 8GB, then when finances allow get an additional matched 8GB for 16GB total. This would only work if it will run with the single slot filled.If you get the 8GB, there is little reason, if you are willing to experiment a lil, try the 8+2 combination since you already have the 2GB on hand. Download a free memory utility and see the differences. This would be the best of both worlds as long as it will run with the single 8GB.I wouldnt recommend such an attempt with older memory which can be testy as far as switching in and out. Memory has better protection today, so a few tests are doable as long as you dont get crazy. I also wouldnt run the unmatched set long term unless the utility and your experience showed that everything was stable. Data corruption is what would be possible if the unmatched pair dont cohabitate nicely.
Sims Medieval is running slow?
Yea mine is doing the same thing...Try lowering your settings like putting Tree detail on low lol its like who cares about leaf texture? But it helped my game a little bit by lowering a lot of my settings. To improve, but mines still lagging Im just going to get a desktop capable of running my sims games so that I wont have to be frustrated with lags! If possible you might want to do the same. Or you could upgrade your graphics card/ video card. Ive heard that will improve game settings, so hope I helped.
