Red Lines And Squiggles In Am Pit

Why do I have black lines on my teeth?

The black lines you see on your teeth may have several causes (a good picture and more details could help a correct diagnosis, although the best thing to do is to make an appointment with your dentist if this is a concern to you).I will just name a few possible causes of teeth staining: - fluorosis (overexposure to fluoride)- tetracycline (an antibiotic) staining- hairline fractures (caused by tooth erosion/abrasion/abfraction) can get deeply discoloured by pigments contained in foodstuffs, beverages, smoke or even mouthwash (specifically the ones containing chlorhexidine)- some medications and diseases as well as radiation of head and neck can cause tooth staining- an abnormal development of enamel and/or dentin can result in stains visible on our teethAnother cause of 'black' appearance of your teeth (but this is quite frankly a long shot) could be tertiary dentin shining through a very thin layer of eroded enamel. Tertiary dentin forms as a response to caries or mechanical attrition: in the unlikely event that your teeth have undergone such trauma for a reasonable long time and subsequently the cause of such damage ceased while your enamel was being worn down (by acid erosion or mechanical attrition, i.e. over-brushing using an abrasive toothpaste), it is possible that the black-coloured, tertiary dentin can be seen through the enamel.Caries (tooth decay) itself can appear very dark or black in colour, but it is unlikely it develops in 'lines'.Also tartar (calculus) can become black when bilirubin contained in blood stains it as our gums bleed. You describe your stains as 'black lines' (I suppose horizontal bands?), if that's the case and the colour is more a very deep shade of brown rather than black and you also notice a sort of 'pit' or 'fissure' where the lines are, I would say it is probably a severe case of fluorosis. As I said, please do not quote me on that and I would recommend a full dental and oral examination with your local dentist. All the best.

When meth is burned in a glass pipe, what does it look like after cooling down and crystalizing back?

It shouldn’t be “burned,” no flame should come near meth without glass between them. That said, it should be clear-to-white at first, gradually darkening as the bowl is smoked until the last hit or two is mostly “trash,” or at least enough to be black(ish) and taste/smell bad.It should crystallize back pretty quickly once it starts — how long that takes depends how free you are with heating it — and when backlit or thin enough should be a “spiderweb” crystal pattern. Something like this[1], actually. As other answers have indicated, circle patterns = bad.If it’s thick enough (like, more than should probably be loaded but you did it anyway), the first few times it’s melted it can run out of space and crystallize inward, growing tendrils toward the middle of the tube/pipe/whatever. Fascinating to watch, IMO.Footnotes[1] Image on redd.it

Pit Bull X Poodle? Good or bad?

I will take this a step further.... instead of breeding our existing ones to poodles, we should change all the signs on the kennels at the shelter that say 'Pit Bulls' to 'Pitoodles'...

I have a small black line on my molar, and it shows no signs of pain or sensitivity. What is it? What do I do?

A clinical picture would've given a better idea. There are many reasons why a black line may prevail on the tooth. If it lies near the gum line, it maybe something called calculus deposits, due to irregular brushing. It can go with cleaning. If it lies on any other region of the tooth, it maybe due to the most common cause which is decay making the tooth black in that part of the mouth. If that tooth already has a silver filling, it may cause something like amalgam tatoo( seen with long retained fillings). And lastly if the tooth doesn't really show any signs of pain or sensitivity it maybe because of a dead pulp, provided it had pained sometime earlier. So see if your case fits in one of this criteria. Get it treated soon.
