What would cause the front end of your car to wobble?

It depends on when it wobbles. If you feel it at even the slowest speeds and increases with speed, usually a tire separation. If just when you brake, front rotors out of round. If it starts at about 45 mph, goes away about 50, returns about 68, goes away about 75, and about shakes the wheel out of your hands at 135 mph, it's a tire balance. Worn ball joints, tie-rod ends, wheel bearings, damaged half shafts, broken strut bearings, etc. can also cause a wobble, particularly when going over bumps or turning. An alignment will not, in and of itself, cause a wobble, but it will cause tire wear and wear-and-tear on parts that, in turn, can cause a wobble.

Is it a good idea to buy a baby car seat from Big Lots? Do they only carry returned baby items?

First thing first: yes, I'd feel perfectly comfortable buying a car seat from Big Lots, provided the price is low enough. I don't belive they are returns (most retailers policy is destroy returned car seats). They are discontinued items, in the case of car seats, they often end up there when the model or cover is discontinued. So the seat would be safe in that regard. Car seats at Big Lots ARE likely to be old, though. And that is important b/c car seats expire 6 years after the date of manufacture regardless of when you buy it! And, here's the kicker - the date of manufacture is on the seat, not the box. Its not uncommon to find a 1-2 year old seat at Big Lots. So that's why I say the price would have to be low enough to account for the fact that you've lost 1-2 years of its lifespan.

However I would say DON'T buy an Alpha Omega Elite, or any of its clones (Eddie Bauer 3-in-1, Alpha Omega, made by Safety1st/Cosco/Dorel/Eddie Bauer) they're all the same seat just different covers. They stink. Hard to install, b/c of narrow belt paths. Ever tried to wash a skinny cup by hand? Now imagine that skinny cup with pointy edges. That's what putting your hand through these to install them is like. AND they have too short a shell to really go to 40lbs. And they do not make good boosters. Also, most kids have to use boosters until they're at least 8 years old. Car seats expire 6 years after the date of manufacture, so no matter what they say it is NOT the last seat you'll ever need to buy. Its a waste of money for a seat that's difficult to install correctly (remember that car seat reviewers may not have it installed correctly and that's why they found it so easy.)

There are MUCH better seats out there. If you just need it for a spare seat, its alright, but for $40 at Walmart, you can get a convertible car seat with the same measurements, same top harness slots, rear faces to 35lbs forward faces to 40lbs, just like the Alpha Omega, just a lot cheaper and easier to install.

What is a Walmart Rollback? What are they for?

Few people realize this, but Walmart does not have “sales”. Their weekly fliers never show a sale price, and they never use the word “sale.” The price advertised is the EDLP, or Every Day Low Price.A Rollback, in Walmart-speak, is a permanent reduction in the retail price of the item. Usually that's reached by an agreement with the supplier. Walmart is notoriously stingy when it comes to the prices it pays to the wholesalers and suppliers. In a documentary of several years ago, one supplier said that Walmart will haggle over a penny in the price its willing to pay.I once bought an item which fits between the seat and the console of a car. It's designed to prevent objects from falling into that hard to reach space. Although other retailers sell the item in pairs, as one would expect, at Walmart, they're sold only as singles. I emailed the company to ask why it is sold in singles, and they said that was the only way to meet Walmart's price.

Can I take an item back to Walmart after 4 months?

As a CSM I only ever let it go if we were talking about days. Like under 97 (policy is 90). If you have a receipt and it says it's been longer than that, the answer is no. A way around this is if you don't bring your receipt. As long as it wasn't a clearance item, then there's no way we can know how long it's been. However, non-receipts returns count against you, so be careful with that.Once had a women try to return a fan she had purchased last year because it stopped working. However, she had obviously bought a new one and stuck the old one in its box. Tried to return it as though she had bought it yesterday. The thing was nasty and covered in dust like it was old. That was a no.

If you break something in a hotel room, are you expected to pay for it?

Depends on the circumstances, the guest and their attitude. Several examples for you from the last 6 months in 4* hotels :Housekeeping enter room after guest checkout and find the solid wood wardrobe lying like matchwood in a pile - no I have no idea either but … chargecurtain hanging off rail - no charge and repairaluminium fixing rod on window that holds it half open, bent and buckled - chargebed and carpet covered in sh*t - chargebed full of vomit - chargelift covered in blood and broken mirror plus full of vomit - chargemirror broken, caused by room door being flung open with such force that the rubber stop on the floor is ripped out - discussion with guest…accident they say - no chargesmoking in room - chargeled tv screen cracked - chargewine stains on the wall - chargebroken shower support in unrenovated room - no chargegenerally we speak to the guest and charge if they can’t explain it but 90% of the time they check out without saying anything…that tells it’s own storyWe have a credit card, for guaranteeing against theft and damage, so we just take a ‘fair’ amount to cover costs of replacement, send an email and wait for the telephone call/email rant from the customer. We send the photographic evidence and ask how it happened and (seldom) refund the card or not.
